Picked up a table and the associate was extremely inappropriate with me. He tried to hit on me and said he wants to help "big girls like me" and that "big girls need the most help". He then told me he was 35 and had it together. I was uncomfortable because my boyfriend was just outside getting the truck and this creep took his chance to be very creepy. He told me he was 35 and was scrawny and small in stature with acne scars on his face. I don't feel like this is a safe goodwill to be in. read more

I always feel like the pricing is determined based on your appearance and now refrain from wearing anything expensive when shopping. I don't understand why they can't just put a price on clothing items. This location is probably my least favorite due to the selection and quality. read more

I think this is probably one of the worst Goodwills i've ever been to. None of the clothes are marked and it's basically a guessing game. I was sitting on the side reading to waiting for my family to finish shopping and when I turn around my cart is gone. I go around and one of the workers is putting away my clothes! I ask her if she found the cart over where I was and she proceeds to tell me no. I don't want to call her a liar, but she has my cart of clothes that I know was right next to me. I understand workers putting back clothes that people might not be using, but maybe ask next time if the customer still wants it. Overall, I don't know if i'll be back. I'm pretty shocked that my total came out to be $60 for 5 articles of clothing. I did the math based on the signs they have around, and my total should've been half of what I paid. I thought this was a Goodwill. It does say "$_ and up", but I think it's a bit weird that customers still have no idea what they're paying. read more

Very poor service, bad attitude from must employees, very bad experience, going to donate items and goods, not sure if the employees get pay or are volunteering, but I will never go to this place any more, I have a chance just to put all the donations in the garbage, but knowing that they may have a value and for other people, brand new cell phone accessories that I remove from my cell phone store that I close, and I take my time to put them in boxes, put them in my car and drive to donate them, to just have such of bad experience!!. read more

After driving around back and dropping off my donations, I decided to go inside and see what the store had to offer. The old location was just a drop-off. I was extremely impressed by the cleanliness and organization of this store. I was surprised they even sold lingerie in the store. I wish I had known because I recently threw out a bunch of lingerie that I assumed they didn't take. I just came to take a look around and ended up purchasing a belt for myself and a toy for my son. Everything has been cleaned and reconditioned very nicely. I will definitely be back to look around. You may be surprised at what you find. 15% student discount on Wednesdays and 15% senior (55+) discount on Tuesdays. read more

Welcome to the Florida Goodwill experience, where pricing is made up on the spot at the register and value isn't what it used to be. An interesting set up in that they've dispensed with price tags altogether and you'll only find the tag hook displaying its color for possible inclusion in this weeks markdown. Most of the clothes won't actually have a price, though they do price a few, in ink, on the label....nice, that'll never come out. On my first, and likely last visit I was told that's just how it is. If you're looking at a rack of t-shirts marked .99 +, it just means they won't be priced lower than 99 cents, but could be quite a bit more. I let the store keep the 2 I'd picked up when my cashier told me she wanted $4 for them each. Eh, no thanks, they were decent for 99 cents but a bit overpriced at your made up on the spot price of $4. Another shirt I'd picked up was $6 because it was made by Gap? Oh excuse me, I forgot how close to Armani Gap is brand-wise. Aren't those the same guys who own Old Navy? Mass produced and sold new for $10 bucks. Again, no thanks. Not a lot of deals to be found I'm afraid, and truthfully I suppose that's all for the better. Having done some research into Goodwills corporate structure not really sure that's where my thrift dollars should be going anyway. read more

I would shop more at Goodwill if the products were not marked with permanent markers. I can never remove the ink marks from the back of the shirts , and items made out if wood/ceramic. All the personnel there are very nice, that's the reason for the extra 2 stars. The color tag also leaves a small hole on the back of the shirt. In other US states Goodwill uses stickers, no permanent markers, no tags. I even sent an email to Goodwill and was informed that my email was being routed to the right personnel. It's been over 1 year and did not hear back! read more

This store is one of the cleanest and most organized I have been in. It's also pretty hidden off in the corner, so it's kind of nice to see that it is never REALLY packed even at 5 on a wednesday. This place is really organized as I mentioned, and everything is spread out well so you're able to get a good lay of the land before you begin to dig through stuff. It's also extremely well lit which helps with finding the goodies. I have had a good amount of luck at this location, finding some good designer labels and even some more vintage pieces (80s/90s). The other thing about this Goodwill I like is the fact that that most of the dresses run along the back wall so it's easy to move through the racks looking for stuff. I also like the fact that this place has few books, because I've been to other locations that are so full of books it gets that weird old paper smell which I am not a fan of. In the middle is the racks of shirts and jackets, and the knickknacks which I also don't like. It's one of the reasons I am not giving it 5 stars because of the fact that the knickknacks are just on a bunch of shelves and it's kind of a mess, same for the kids stuff but that one is more to be expected. Furniture at this location is sparse, but I'm sure they rotate stuff out from time to time and if you keep coming back you'll find what you're looking for, but again from my last visit it was a bit sparse. Jewelry/Brooch selection can be sparse too, but if you're looking for some junk pieces this place is good for those types of necklaces and bracelets. As mentioned this one has gotten some good designer labels, and I have found some nice pieces and seen some other pieces I have wanted but like all Goodwill stores it can be a bit hit or miss. If you're in the area with nothing to do, pop in and you might get lucky finding something really nice. Again 4 stars only because of the above mentioned things, but other than that this place isn't bad at all. When the new Goodwill store on Pines Boulevard and Flamingo Road opened last week 6/29/17 I was able to purchase 30 good quality items as the store shelves were stocked full. I've been there every day since and have been able to purchase only three additional items as the stock crew only brings out one cart every 60 to 90 minutes and some of the shelves are half empty especially the toy and brickabrack shelves. I guess that I'm very spoiled shopping at the Red White and Blue Thrift Stores in North Miami and Hialeah as aproximately 30 employees bring out carts every 60 Seconds. It is as busy at the Red White and Blue everyday of the week as it was at the Grand Opening of this Goodwill on their first day. Now there is hardly anyone shopping in this store. I wonder why? read more

I have never been so disappointed! My husband took a child's roll top desk to them and a lady there refused to take it because it had some paint marks. All the drawers are there and open and shut and the roll top rolls down without any difficulty. The paint could have been painted or taken off with a magic eraser. I will never take my stuff to Goodwill again!!! I will be taking my donation elsewhere. read more

I love this store, however in the past few months the prices have gone up dramatically! $2 for a pickle jar? $2 for a box of diaper trash bags that they sell (the exact same product) at the Dollar Tree for $1?! The clothes are getting crazy too. You can find them for cheaper by shopping at Department store sales...and they'll be brand new! I miss the old, friendly managers who cared more about their customers and not just about making retail prices on donated items! read more

Very clean and looks nice when you walk in. I was specifically looking for baby clothes and they had a pretty small selection that was not organized by size. Many of he toys were broken or missing pieces. They are only as good as what people donate but I have better luck in some of the surrounding areas. read more

the problem with this store people is that most of you do not see it but every morning people who resell get up early and sit around and scan everything that is worthwhile and they can resell.it is always the same group as soon as the cart comes out they attack it. they will walk with the person and take the stuff out before it is even put on the self. read more
