They sell vintage and antique items with some modern things thrown in. My favorite area was the adorable kitchen room. You could practically see a grandma standing there baking a pie. If had enough space, I would have scooped up those sweet ceramic vegetable trinket boxes. Everything was actively arranged and clearly priced. Take your time and look closely. There are a lot of cool things to see and prices can be negotiated. The Flip Side has another store in Ft. Lauderdale on Cypress Creek Road in Ft. Lauderdale. They keep the prices low and their inventory changed from week to week. I've dropped off bags a few times and I've found some nice crystal vases while looking around. They really care for the poor in the area as they have a food bank on Friday's. They give free bread at the thrift shop on Saturday. Then they have a service on Sunday where they have a meal together and invite the homeless to join them.

The Mustard Seed Thrift Shop is open every Saturday 9 AM to 1 PM. The thrift store is staffed with church volunteers and they take donations while the store is open. They accept and sell gently used clothing, children's toys and clothes, and small household items. Prices are very in expensive, clothing is only a dollar for an example and the church provides clothing vouchers for those in need if they contact the church office. I saw some interesting glass items, some of which may have been vintage. Patient church volunteers were giving a math lesson to some children buying toys. Although on the small side, this is a cute, welcoming store and the prices can't be beat. What was more frustrating was that she took the item from me, brought it to the back to the manager, then returned without the item and both refused the sale. The item was already damaged and labeled AS IS, so the refusal made little sense. Very poor communication and customer service experience, especially after the long wait. Disappointing experience over a $5 item that was clearly marked. Not coming back again.

The owner told me she could sale the item for $10 more, and since she could, why would she sale it to me for cheaper. I drove to the back door of the store and rang the door bell to let an associate inside know that I was out back. With in a minute or two, a nice lady opened the door and pushed an empty grocery cart towards my trunk. We loaded the cart and and then thanked me for the donation. I didn't ask for a receipt and she didn't offer one before I got back in mu car and drove away. I was very happy to get rid of my trash so it could become someone else's treasures.
