This Goodwill is honestly one of the best ones that I have gone through. When it comes to the variety of clothing and other items this one always has a wide range of them. The layout is very easy to understand with everything on the right side being women's and everything on the left side being men. In the back is where they sell books, movies, DVDs and even vinyl records. They even sell different kitchen appliances and house where that people have donated. The best part is everything is clean before it is put on the Shelf and racks however I can never be too safe so I always we clean anything I get. The prices are always good because it is a Goodwill and while many people shop here for items they need day today I am usually coming here 4 items I need for costumes or other clothing accessories that I can customize. The staff is friendly however sometimes there is a bit of a difficult language barrier and it makes shopping here a little bit tricky once in awhile. Other than that it is a nice place to check out if you are ever in dire need of cheap clothing or accessories for if you are looking for accessories the customized for costumes or what have you!

I had to write this review as soon as possible after exiting the store. This Goodwill is very clean and has a reasonable amount of merchandise on the racks. There isn't much in the books and music department and the furniture department is also lacking. Two of the biggest downers were that none of the clothing has price tags on it. They just have those colored plastic attachment that usually have a label attached to it. So you don't really know the price until you get up to the cash register. It would be a lot more helpful if they had some signage to indicate what each color tag's price point is instead of having a general vague sign on the rack that says "shorts four dollars and up". Also, there is no indication as to which color is half off other than the one sign on the front door. The second part of this and my second point is that no one in the store seems to speak English. So you can't get a clear idea as to how much something cost or where to find something unless you speak Spanish. I don't mean that to sound racist, it's just a fact. I asked the attendant of the fitting room, a lady stocking the racks with jeans, and the cashier how much the items were that I was purchasing. no one can give me a straight answer. How do I know that the price the cashier gives me is the true price instead of her just making up a price and seeing if I'll negotiate it down? Granted it's the Goodwill and you're still probably going to get a decent price, but it's nice to know before you get a surprise at the cash register & have to put something back.

Nice, clean, large Goodwill superstore located in Pembroke Pines. There is a large car park out front and it is very close to a post office and also a Walmart, so it makes for convenient shopping.

They have the latest vintage fashions with tons of different categories and sizes. This is a decent size warehouse located in Hialeah Gardens, FL. Easy to find and not far from the Palmetto Hwy. They have many bins full of all types of clothing ranging from $3 - $15 for most items. They also have several racks of hanging clothing with price tags ranging from $10 - $40+. They also have accessories like hats, shoes, belts, and more. I was happy to see they have a vintage comic book selection as well. I liked the vintage decor and openness of this place. Open, airy and laid back. There is also plenty of free parking. They offer dressing room areas, bathrooms and a member discount for being a repeat customer. You can purchase vintage and retro clothing in bulk or by the piece. You'll love this place if you grew up shopping Salvation Army and Goodwill. I bought some comic books (4) as a gift for my nephew and a sesshomaru vintage tie dye tee for myself. I paid a total of $25. Not bad. My husband pointed out the large strobe lights around the ceiling area along with a big disco ball in the center of the ceiling stating "I think this place turns into a club at night." Intrigued, I asked the guy working there and he confirmed that starting in January, it will be a hang out spot with music & food vendors. I enjoyed my visit and glad I came here today. Check them out if you're in the south Florida area.

This store had some collectibles, clothing, books, jewelry, tools, and craft supplies. It was definitely an eclectic range of items. If you are a creative person you might find something to refurbish or a way to creatively reuse an item by upcycling it. I was excited to see some Hardy Boy books that I last saw in my grandmother's basement from when my mom was a kid. The doors says they accept donations and their Facebook page says they partner with Broward House and The Humane Society of Broward County. Everything was clearly marked with a price and they seemed reasonable. Although I didn't find anything today it was fun to stop and poke around. They are one of several thrift stores in this area so you can include it on a Davie thrifting expedition.

They abandoned the concept of the traditional church pulpit in favor of preaching directly to the people most in need. Despite the disapproval of the church, Booth took his ministry to the poor, homeless, hungry, and destitute. After training evangelists all over England, the couple returned to the west end of London in 1875 and formed their organization, the Christian Mission. In 1878 while reading the annual report for the Christian Mission he noticed the phrase "The Christian Mission is a volunteer army." William Booth crossed out volunteer army and replaced it with salvation army. From then on converts became soldiers of Christ or Salvationists. The groups message spread quickly and today they serve over 100 countries. The Salvation Army has churches throughout the world called Salvation Army corps but they are probably best known for their thrift stores. When items are purchased at the stores the money supports the Salvation Army's emergency relief efforts and programs. Unlike a lot of businesses the Salvation Army will hire ex felons. Some of the shops support the Adult Rehabilitation Centers which help people combat addiction. When you donate to or buy from the Salvation Army you are helping to support many worthwhile programs. I discovered this Salvation Army store while driving through Pembroke Pines. It used to be a Rooms to Go and the large size of the building caught my eye. As an avid thrifter I am always up to exploring a new store and this location was busy on a Saturday afternoon. Inside was one of the nicest Salvation Army stores I have ever been in South Florida although it still had that distinctive musty odor if you know what I mean. In the front of the store you will find large pieces of furniture like sofas, desks, and tables. Towards the back of the store are racks upon racks of clothes all organized by color and type. The amount of clothes was truly astounding. I feel like they could clothe the entire city of Pembroke Pines. Rounding out the inventory are accessories, home goods, toys, and books. If you were starting out in your first apartment you could get most of what you need here. Some of the things I picked up weren't in the best condition as they were broken or chipped. Take the time to really examine every item before you purchase. That said, if you ae a bargain hunter you will be in your element.

I donate at about two times a month to VVA. They pick up household goods, clothes, shoes, sports equipment, books, etc. They have a truck that rolls up to my house and I put my donations in a bag and leave it on the patio. It is a beautiful process. But I had some clothes that I "outgrew" and they were all nicer, name brand items. I was going to Miramar anyway so I figured I might be able to pick up a few bucks off my nice, clean and name brand items. I walked in and she had an attitude, but ok. She explained the process. All items must be clean, in good condition and within the past two years. Well, my clothes and Uggs were clean and in good condition. Most of the items were in the two year scope but two probably were not. I had eight items in total. I walked around browsing and saw a pair of white jeans with a stain on them, ready to be sold. Nothing here for me, so I went to Publix a few doors down. She calls me and says my items are ready to be picked up. She put my Uggs in the bag with the clothes. I brought them in separate bags and don't put used shoes in the same bag as clothes! Anyway, she said my items were either not clean or over two years old. Actually, one dress is dirty now, because she put the Uggs on them!! I do not recommended this place at all. You would probably be better off selling your clothes online or donating to a worthwhile charity. I have never seen someone who seems to hate their job as much as this female.
