Tim is the Bulldog you want in your corner, and the Thrive Team have this down to a science. From our first phone call with Tim, we knew we would be in good hands. His relaxed demeanor, thoughtful responses, Rolodex of people/restaurants/schools/etc, and candid nature were all factors that made us want to work with him, all of which ended up being incredibly helpful. Throughout the entire buying process, he was always available for a text or call from sun-up to late evening, weekends, and even some holidays due to the timeline of our purchase. We couldn't have asked for a better partner in finding our first home. When my daughter was recently looking (remotely) for a house in Denver, I tried to help her by searching the Internet for listings. I happened on the Thrive website at SmartDenverHomeSearch.com and while looking at photos of a property, I accidentally clicked on a button that sent a message to one of Thrive's agents, Kevin Shelledy. When Kevin called me, I explained to him that my daughter already had a real estate agent - a friend of a friend - and that she was not planning to change. But since I was already talking with him, I asked about the particular property I was looking at on the website and he pointed out some things about it that I had overlooked. He also told me that the SmartDenverHomeSearch website was directly connected to the MLS so that its listings were much more up to date than some others that are perhaps better known by consumers, such as Zillow and Trulia. I was impressed and made a note of his name. At Kevin's suggestion, I also registered for the website so I could get updates about properties that were coming on the market. As things proceeded with the other agent over the following months, we were occasionally confused and a couple of times I called Kevin for guidance. Although he stood to gain nothing from interacting with me, he was consistently responsive and helpful - orienting me to the Denver market, explaining what certain documents meant, describing strategies that could be used to secure the property we wanted, and so on. At one point, he even interrupted his vacation to answer my questions for a half hour or so. Even after my daughter bought a house, Kevin helped her find contractors to make small alterations to the property. I emphasize again that he had nothing whatsoever to gain financially from all this. Throughout, I was very impressed with Kevin's tech savvy and total professionalism. There is nothing tired or ho-hum about his approach; rather, there is good energy without any pressure. I understand that he has had experience in the hospitality (hotel) industry, and it shows. I found him to be refreshingly service-oriented with a solid knowledge of real estate. Thank you, Laura, for helping me find the perfect place! I was looking for a place for my mom and me. As a first-time homebuyer, I didn't know anything about real estate or looking for a home. Laura recognized this quickly, and shortly after our first call, she scheduled a meeting to educate me on the home buying process and what to expect. More than anything, this first meeting helped to establish a strong foundation for our search. She was informative and, more importantly, patient with my complete lack of knowledge regarding all things real estate. We were guided to Ms. Tracey Gobey, and the Thrive Team, by the high praise and plaudits from a prior client we know. And we are so glad we were sent her way. Those that read this may know about the highly competitive CO / Denver area real estate market. Even as experienced buyers we were shocked at the limited early 2021 home inventory and multitude of aggressively competitive buyers. We entered this market needing a family home, in the near term, but expecting months of "shopping", offers, and even bidding wars. Fortune shined on us; a perfect home appeared unexpectedly on the market. With the expert assistance of Ms. Gobey, we were able to: quickly engage with the Sellers, assess the competition, establish an appropriate series of offers, and ultimately arrive at the winning offer and purchase of the home. As first-time home buyers, my spouse and I did our exhaustive research of finding a reliable real estate agency. We came across Thrive Real Estate Group and upon reading the positive reviews, we decided to reach out to them in hopes to find our first home. Upon emailing them, we were instantly contacted by one of their advisors, Nathan Dick, and from our first conversation with Nathan we were confident we found the right agent for our search. Our accidental discovery of Thirve Real Estate Agent Tim Aberle changed everything...well, at least a lot. In early 2018 my now-husband and I were anxious to find a Denver home that was more suitable for the two of us and an eventual larger family. We signed up to see a house via Zillow and were fortuitously linked up with Tim. I was hesitant to work with any particular agent given previously underwhelming experiences, but Tim proved to be different. As someone who has tried to avoid being an adult as long as possible, I never thought home buying would be an option because its far too difficult and confusing of an endeavor to undertake, or so I thought. Five minutes after submitting an online inquiry for a condo that piqued our interest, Elizabeth from Thrive Real Estate called me and my wife to get some more information. Before selecting a real estate agent, I searched the internet for a website that was simple to navigate and shared the relevant information I wanted to know about the individuals working at the office and ways to learn more about neighborhoods and properties available. We found Matt Clark through a recommendation from our daughter, who used him to sell a home and purchase, and he helped another family member find a home - both bought fabulous homes when the market was limited. From the beginning & throughout, Matt was incredible! Let me state: WE SEARCHED FOR A HOME FOR NEARLY A YEAR WITH MATT. Matt always said the time we spent was not a concern, but finding the RIGHT house for us was what was important! We live out of state and he did a great job of coordinating appointments for when we came to town, he also did many video or FaceTime showings if we could not be there in person (and does a wonderful job of showing a home this was, and pointing out good and bad points), and stayed true to noting if it had or did not have items on our "MUST HAVE" list. We were not easy clients, as we came from a state where prices of homes cost less, so jumping to the CO pricing left us very frustrated, although we were determined not to "settle." Matt continued to screen homes and send us possibilities. His devotion to our satisfaction was so great that he would even talk us out of houses if we started to talk ourselves into a home we thought we could make do. In the end, we have found a home that checks all of the boxes, is a solid build (not a flip), and we believe will be a fabulous place to spend the new chapter in our life. There is so much more we can say, but notably, we must praise his expertise in evaluating the structure, HVAC systems, CO terrain and cement cracking, and generally the condition and needs of homes (things that would likely show up on inspections).
