Unprofessional and Concerning Behavior The staff at this company has been consistently unprofessional and condescending, and they refuse to provide adequate information to homeowners even when formally requested. After multiple follow-up emails and phone calls, responses are either avoided entirely or significantly delayed. When Jason Ryan finally did reply, his tone is shockingly hostile and borderline threatening -- which is extremely concerning for a company responsible for managing a community. read more

For 18 months Sean hasn't posted our minutes on time. His excuse: "No one asked for the minutes." Then he muted us for asking. The HOA president said Sean made a mistake: emailed the wrong minutes to us. Sean's always making mistakes and still has to be repeatedly asked to do his job duties. Sean is the only manager, so you're stuck with him. Sean and Jason co-own the company. Jason posts online replies to reviews blaming residents or telling them to call the office. So WW issues are never fixed. Their app is supposed to do all the work for them. When Sean's asked at meetings about the status of requests in their app: he replies, "I haven't looked at that yet" or "it might be a duplicate request?" He's never prepared, and is rude to HOA residents. Any other management company is better than WW. read more

Instead of responsibly guiding our HOA to build reserves and plan for the future, they push through large and unnecessary special assessments that place residents under financial hardship. Their pattern is to secure oversized contracts that appear to benefit their own bottom line more than the community they are supposed to serve. This is not responsible management -- it is exploitative. Homeowners deserve a management company that acts in their best interests with transparency, accountability, and fiscal prudence. Bad review Tried moving into a place managed by these folks. They just let residents go delinquent on their HOA payments, so if you are looking to a skip paying HOA fees in your new residence, check to see if it's managed by WestWork! They will happily let you get away with going completely delinquent on your payments. I can hear you asking yourself "how is this Rudy's business"? My lender turned me down for loan to get into a residency managed by these folks because Jason, and friends allowed over 15% of the residents there to just stop paying their HOA dues. This affects the permanence of the complex's master insurance policy, therefore making it a place that banks won't want to lend a mortgage on. read more

Billy has been a really great help at West Work Management and helped me out a couple times with 2 different situations. Westwork is super shady. They don't have a real physical address, just a PO box. So, there aren't any negative reviews through google or yelp. I've tried to add them as a business here so that there could be some online presence and reviews for them. When we first interviewed them we thought "no reviews is good news". They really try to sell HOA board members on their boutique approach and trustworthiness. They also said that they don't like to hire within the industry because of all the jaded HOA managers there are. They talk a good talk. But after several months of being with them, we found out that it was all wrong. They didn't have even the most basic keys or information about our property within three months of supposed "transition time". They would say they would act on something and then never do it, like never sending out even the most basic welcome letter to introduce themselves as the new HOA management company for our building until we followed up with them many times about this. They mocked an owner for slipping on ice in our parking lot and breaking his leg rather than responding with empathy. They accidentally forwarded an email to the board that contained a conversation with a contractor calling the board members bad names. They processed a sale of a condo and then never recorded the information. So, the old owner continually got emails and the new owner was not recorded. They blatantly lied about already having worked on certain tasks because next meeting they would say that they didn't even know what those tasks were. They would not give us our financial information and claimed this would take time with the transition. So, for months we were in the dark about financials. Finally, the board made the extreme decision to switch management companies after only having been with Westwork for 6 months. Beware. read more

Westwork sent out a handyman that was 24 hours late. He didn't bother to even call. I told him I could hear the leak behind the bathroom sink wall and he ignored me. Then he shoved over the toilet and broke the toilet seal and bent the toilet bolt. The Westtwork handyman gave his first name only. He refused to give phone number or business card. My landlady asked Westwork if they had run a criminal background check because I have an infant and a three-year-old and Sean, Jason and Noah ignored her emails and phone calls. (The Friday prior, my landlady sent out a reputable person with her son and Westwork refuses to consult with them). Additionally, Westwork Management does not keep up the property. Took municipal money for a project and without advising the Association, charged the tenants. So, got paid for a project and then paid again, from us. These people are terrible, they sent notice that you can still mail your payment in and I always mail my payment 2wks before the first and I always have to call them and ask why there's no transaction from them and they say they have no record of receiving my check and that they can't control the mail. I mail my HOA payment and my mortgage payment at the same time and my mortgage company always receives their payment, my car insurance always receives their payments and all my other bills ate received but I'm still waiting for westwork to process my check for May 2023. read more

These people are the rudest, most unprofessional bunch of thieves to walk on my property. Will be actively working to get rid of them. IF you are in charge of HOAs and or are on the Board of an HOA and are looking to get a new management company, I suggest ANY other company but this one. They do shady stuff and get away with it. I will be withholding my dues this next month to compensate for the cost they have made me incur, illegally. My lawyer is suggesting a formal complaint be filed. Will likely be doing that, shortly. In the meantime, this company is crap. The people that work there are crap (and freakin' rude as hell). The lady, who refused to give her name, actually hung up on me when the question I asked was too challenging for her: If the parking lot had to be cleared for work to be done but the work is not being done until sometime next week, why was my car towed? The unprofessional idiot hung up. Didn't answer the question, didn't offer an apology, just hung up. Beginning to wonder why my HOA chose this company. Our POA board hired this outfit without involving the association membership, and is now paying them about 1/4 to 1/3 of our meager annual budget. They did send out timely communications and they do respond to calls and emails, however, our annual dues balances were not loaded in the portal and there was a discrepancy between what the POA policy about collections indicated and the due date for annual assessments. The owners do not alway address the concerns in my correspondence which leads to frequent having to send more than one email about the same issue. For example, a recent correspondence appears to reflect that the company is not up to speed on current POA legislation in Colorado, or even well versed in our POA's policies. I asked for a corrected email to be sent to the members, as the initial email was, frankly, not accurate-- I received a superficial response to my email that did not address this concern. This kind of inattention is irksome. So I sent another inquiry making the same request a second time. The incorrect information had to do with foreclosure powers of HOAs in Colorado, which thankfully were curbed in 2022, so this was not a minor issue. What came across as kind of a cavalier attitude concerns me. I am not at all confident this outfit will be following the very detailed due process procedures that are now required of HOAs regarding delinquencies and communications. And, because Colorado has weak HOA law, they will "get away with it. " We shall see. read more
