I chose my Gyno's very carefully based on reviews & was stilly overwhelmingly dissatisfied with not only their level of care but also felt I was financially being taken advantage of many places. I believe within last year alone I went to 5 different Gyno's from Westwood, Beverly Hills & Weho (the areas surrounding where I live) I found Dr Jennifer to be a further drive, but SO very worth it. Not one for leaving reviews, but I felt this really deserved one Since making my first appt, the receptionist was very accommodating. This was the only office (in my area) (eagle rock) that had an appt for me within a week, a little tmi but my period was late & stress was causing me to feel that I needed to see a womens dr ASAP. The receptionist heard the urgency in my voice & put me on the schedule right away. Jennifer was very helpful as to getting down to the reasons my period was late, with a routine exam and blood work underway.. I look forward to my future appointments w/ her. Dr. Huddleston is truly amazing. I finally found someone who is trustworthy in the fertility space, listens to my concerns and is willing to test for something to give me the peace of mind even if she feels certain that I would not be a candidate for a condition, imbalance, etc. Sometimes the wait can be a bit long but honestly, I would rather wait for a provider who 1) is actually open after working hours so I can still keep my high-intensity well paying corporate job while still pursuing a family and 2) actually knows FAM and other natural + conventional approaches vs. a PCP or slammed OB who sees me quick but literally has no answers. Jennifer Huddleston, P.A., is amazing. We were referred to her by friends who needed assistance getting pregnant and we were not disappointed! First of all, she is real. No bull. To the point, yet kind. Also, VERY affordable. I experienced some heavy stuff while working with her to get pregnant and she was so sensitive and supportive. She was always available via text to answer my questions related to when I should come in. She never pushed me to do anything I didn't want to do, but more lovingly suggested ways I could increase our chances of getting pregnant as a lesbian couple who was struggling. She respected my desire to not use drugs to increase our chances and go the most natural route. We have a beautiful 6 month old baby now thanks to her knowledge, support, and help, and we continue to send her updates as she feels more like a friend than a doctor. Thank you, Jennifer! read more

This review is long overdue!!!! I have searched high and low for a gynecologist office that makes me feel 100 percent comfortable and at ease. This place is just that. Not kidding from the beginning to the end every staff member had such great energy and made sure all my needs were met. Especially the sweet woman who answers the phone. I also have had terrible luck with doctors and Dr. Huddleston has to be one of the best in her field. I mean when I left her office it was the first time I had a pain free appointment- and one of the only times I was thoroughly explained the answers to all my questions. Going to get your lady parts examined isn't exactly something many look for (no judgment if you do) but honestly after visiting Jennifer today for my annual, I am not mad about how awesome my appointment went. Jennifer is truly a beautiful compassionate soul. She took the time to get to know me, my health concerns, and my family history. This is long long overdue but if I could give 10 stars I would. Dr Huddleston and her staff are AMAZING!! After going to UCLA for 15 years (and never feeling like anyone cared at all) I finally tried another place and am so so happy and thankful to find that not all obgyn experiences have to be bad! Dr Huddleston was so kind and caring and really listened to my issues and worked through real solutions with me. But I have to give a special shoutout to Patty (Always answers the phone)- she is an absolute gem and angel. I'm a hypochondriac and have had a couple of situations arise that completely freaked me out and both times I called- she actually took the time to talk to me on the phone and talk me down from panic and was so kind and caring and thoughtful with me and she totally didn't have to do that. Not only that- but she went way way out of her way to get me in at the very last minute on a Friday so that I could not panic over the weekend and ease my worry and again once ON A SATURDAY she got me in as soon as possible bc she actually cared and wanted to make sure everything was ok- which drastically helps my mental health as well. And I called again to address an issue right before I had to travel and didn't have time to come in- but she once again rushed to the rescue and talked to the doctor about my issue. Not even a couple hours later- I had the prescription I needed PLUS a different one for just in case purposes which again was so above and beyond and I was so grateful to be able to go on my trip without worry! So a huge thank you to her for making me feel so supported. This is Just unlike any doctor office experience I've ever had. I've had fear of doctors that was largely driven by my anxiety and depression since I turned 18. I was out on my own and never had much money-- I had no health insurance for nearly a decade. I justified neglecting myself because I never felt heard or understood by medical professionals. I always felt like it was a battle to even be taken seriously, not what we were taught as kids in terms of a doctor being a safe place for you. I always felt like I was being accused of something. I DID cry when I met with Dr. Jennifer. Because I've never felt more safe or comfortable in a medical setting. And I was there for such a scary reason, too! I'm in my late 30s now. I was only really driven to go in because I had come to the realization early that morning that I couldn't let the pain and swelling in my breast continue without examination or it might kill me. I looked on Yelp, thought Thrive looked cool and was close to my house, so I called. They got me in same day. The staff was amazing. My fears were eased so quickly. I was so comfortable that I was like, "yeah, take my blood! Run a panel!" If you are someone who feels shame or fear that has led to you neglecting your health, you're not alone. This is the safest space on Earth, especially as someone who has past traumatic experiences, the level of care I received here is actually unbelievable. I was able to have a full pap exam pain free and a positive experience which I never thought I could say. Dr. Huddleston is the most kind, warm, healing, calming presence and so good at what she does I can't stop referring people here. Safe space for people with trauma and also a place where pronouns will be respected and gender identity affirmed and respected. Wow, this is a very efficient and well run practice. I was able to quickly book my well-woman exam (pap, etc...). They sent me my patient intake forms electronically and I was able to quickly and easily fill them out before my appointment (so nice!!). Jennifer saw me on time (no wait) and she took her time to get to know me and answer my questions. I wanted a few basic blood tests and this office will draw blood in-house (so convenient - quick and easy). I loved being able to use the patient portal to see my test results (received in a very timely manner). Easy and free parking, clean office. Highly recommended. read more

They had a cancel, so I came in and couldn't feel anymore welcome. The people at the front desk were very nice, and Jennifer is amazing. I feel like I've spent an insane amount of my adult life looking for a female primary doctor who checked the boxes: Kind, competent, forward-thinking + holistic treatments. When I came across Jennifer and Thrive, I was a little apprehensive since she's not an MD but also the reviews were so positive that I thought I should take a chance. My first appointment with Jennifer was great. I liked her immediately, the front desk staff were nice and aside from them not having a functioning pulse oximeter (we tried several times, the battery must be dead, no worries, who needs a baseline!) everything was about as good as I could have hoped for and I was excited to finally have someone I hoped I could entrust my health and wellness care to. Then... every moment since that appointment has happened. I called over a week later to find out if my blood test results had come in. They had not... the front desk apologized, the lab must be taking longer than expected, they'll find out and get back to me. No one got back to me. I called 2-3 days later and the results had come in and Jennifer would call me to discuss (she did) - why am I chasing my results around? I understand that things happen I just ask that if you say you're going to do X, do it. A few days later, I called back because I needed a referral for a mammogram (the one from my previous doc had lapsed which I didn't realize when Jennifer had asked me, at my appointment, if I needed one). The front desk said, yes, of course, we'll get right back to you. They didn't. Over a week later, I called to find out if I was able to get the referral - I was told I needed to send over my results from my previous scans so I did immediately. A couple days later I called back to find out about the referral, it eventually came through - but again, why am I chasing my doctor's office staff around when they've promised to call me/ do a thing? Last week, I got sick and tested positive for Covid - the positive result came in on Friday early afternoon. I called Jennifer's office in the hopes that I could get a paxlovid prescription (or a screening to find out if I was eligible for it). The front desk says "I'm not sure if she does those prescriptions" (I'm sorry, what? We're how deep into covid and we're not sure if our own medical office does paxlovid scrips?) then, like I've heard so many times before "I'll call you back". Now, just to be clear, I was in a lot of pain at this point and my throat was so raw I could barely talk. I *clearly* needed help. Which leads to today - Tuesday. I STILL haven't heard back. No clarification on if they do paxlovid, not a call to prescribe anything else for my symptoms, NOTHING. Obviously when they said they'd call back I knew what that meant and immediately screened elsewhere and got the help I needed. I'm genuinely glad (and legit amazed) so many people are receiving good care in this office but it's obviously not the place for me and the front office has made that abundantly clear. read more

Dr. Huddleston (Dr. H) is the BEST! My partner and I tried to have a baby for 7 years. We tried 6 IUI's with our previous doctor. The only thing he would say is that I had "unexplained infertility". Everything was on his time and availability. I was looking into out of state fertility clinics because we have to pay out of pocket. I saw a post on FB talking about how amazing their fertility doctor was and it was in Los Angeles. We jumped at the opportunity! From the very first day I met Dr. H our experience was 100% different. She included us in the process and I left our consultation feeling it wasn't my fault and that she actually cared. She took her time to know us and didn't rush us in or out. We made the 2+ hour drive because she is worth it. We scheduled our first IUI with her and she told me to call her when I ovulated. I was so worried about the distance but she always told me not to worry and that she was on baby's time not hers. On December 1st, we made the drive without any stress. What I love most about Dr. H is that my partner and I felt so connected with the process. On December 12th, I found out I was pregnant and now we have a beautiful two year old son. To Dr. H this isn't just another medical procedure, it is the opportunity to make a dream come true. She stands by your side 100% of the way! She explained everything to us and always made herself available for any questions. She doesn't give you false hope either. She is direct and honest. I cried when I had to start seeing an OB on a regular basis and closer to me. I wished I had a Dr. H near me because no one compares. When I was in labor, we texted and she was with me in spirit. We are still connected and soon going to try for baby #2. read more

I have came here in the past and Was told I would get a call when my results came in when I finally called backed for my results they told me someone should of called obviously you would like to know the results of blood work and pap done but it's okay I brushed it off I called this week because I was feeling a terrible sharp pain I was told my appointment was at 7 and I called confirmed and they said yes at 7 I waited an hour and after I saw that even the 7:30 appointment was seen before me the receptionist couldn't even acknowledge the fact that I'm there and I've waited for an hour I have nothing bad to say about the gynecologist but now I have to go to the emergency room today and figure out what is going on with me I left crying feeling neglected by the staff and that's not how you should feel read more

I made a switch from my office in Burbank to something closer to home and I am so happy I did it. Being that I am getting older I want to make sure my health is being addressed early on so I know what is going on with my body. Dr Huddleston and her staff at thrive wellness center are the best!! Unfortunately, it seems so hard these days to find doctors who actually seem to care about you. But, from the first experience I had with Dr H, I knew she was invested in her patients. I went to college out of state but couldn't use my California health insurance there. I needed a virtual appointment to talk about my birth control and hormonal acne with Dr H and her staff said she would try to squeeze me in that day and give me a call. Later, I got a call from Dr H while she was on her way home. I was blown away because she could've just said that she would need to call me another day but no, she made time for me during her personal time which I truly appreciated. Dr H even made my first Pap smear not as scary or traumatic as I expected LOL. And when other peoples reviews say that talking to Dr H is like talking to a friend, they're right! There's no weird tension there sometimes is when you talk to other doctors. Lastly, her staff is also so kind!!! I can say without a doubt they are the best doctors office staff I have ever encountered.
