The Positives: The lifeguards here take their jobs very seriously. They actively monitor the pools to ensure kids aren't playing too rough. For safety reasons, they don't allow parents to ride down the yellow slide with toddlers--there isn't a sign posted about this, but we were completely fine following the rule to set a good example for the kids. The Layout & Safety: One design quirk to watch out for if you have toddlers is that the 2-foot kiddie area connects directly to the 4-foot pool without a barrier. It can be a bit risky for non-swimmers who might accidentally wander into the deeper water, so expect to be right in the pool with your little ones the whole time. Crowds & Amenities: Weekends get incredibly packed, to the point where it's hard for kids to swim without bumping into others. Seating and shade are very limited, which is why a massive line forms before opening. You essentially have to sprint inside to claim a spot; otherwise, you're stuck standing in the sun. Also, note that the big slide isn't guaranteed to be running. It was closed during our recent weekend visit. Timing & Cost: They currently run two separate sessions (12:00 PM-2:30 PM and 3:30 PM-6:00 PM). At $12 per person ($48 for our family of four), it honestly feels a bit pricey for just two and a half hours of swim time. Overall, it's a fun park, but you definitely want to arrive early and stay vigilant with younger kids.

I've owned horses and have ridden extensively, so we came with experience and simply wanted to enjoy a beautiful morning ride together. Our guide, Will, was outstanding. He was knowledgeable, personable, safety-conscious, and made the entire experience relaxing and enjoyable. You could tell he genuinely loves what he does and cares about both the horses and his guests. The horses were well-mannered, the scenery around Folsom Lake was breathtaking, and the pace was perfect for taking it all in. The best part? The smile never left my granddaughter's face all day. I've been riding my whole life and decided to go on a trail ride as a treat for myself. All my…read morehorses are now gone so I was excited to get back in the saddle. Marina was the guide and she did a great job. Bomba was the horse I had the pleasure to ride. He was a very fun horse and I just adored him. There were other people on the trail ride who did not have much experience but Marina was great helping them out while also making sure we didn't slow down. My contract is up at my current gym so I decided to come back to In-shape to try it out, one of my main reasons for going back was the free weights & the pool. Unfortunately, I couldn't use the pool whatsoever because apparently all the local high school swim teams use it for practicing every evening. The gym was pretty clean and the overall experience wasn't too bad, just for the price of membership the bankers hours and lack of public pool usage is very frustrating.

It was spacious with several rooms that included group fitness, cardio, and strength training. Some rooms were larger than others but the spaces provided members an opportunity to feel comfortable no matter the physical vulnerabilities. The restrooms were cute and appeared updated. Most of the patrons cleaned the machines after use, which made me happy. And the relax and restoration area was a vibe. I enjoyed my visit.

In the early 1900s, Clarks Hole (also called Clarks Pool) was managed by the City of Auburn as a municipal swimming pool. Today, it is popular with Auburn locals for picnics and swim parties, especially on a hot days! No lifeguards. Please be careful!
