(Cortez room) 5 open parking spots! Calm down Karen!

The fact that I live next door and there is no designated parking and after a 12 hour shift at the hospital, I came home to no parking. So I park in front of the bar some Karen had the nerve to tell me I can not park in front of the bar mind you it's 7am and no one is parked in front of the bar. There is 5 open parking spots in front of the bar. But the point it is on the Main Street tell your costumers not to park in front of my apartment then. Managed by a Karen!

I've been a smoker for a long time, I have friends who vape, and I wanted to make a change. I had…read moreheard nothing but good things about Netvapes in Yuba City. I really wanted a personal experience even though I could simply order mods/tanks etc online for a much better price. I really wanted that human touch to help guide me into making the right decision. I figured they would try to hook me up with a starter kit of the cheapest they had. I went in trying to get information on intermediate / experience vaper's mods, because I did not want to spend close to 100 bucks on something that isn't going to last long, or will be a pain in the ass to use, or have small but ever so annoying problems or I would want to upgrade very very soon or... etc etc you get the picture. Just as I feared, the dude at the counter had no interest in educating me on anything, when I asked what about this or that, he just was intent on telling me over and over that I needed the Kanger subox mini-c. So after not getting any questions really answered. I gave in like a complete moron and went with the cheapo starter kit. 2 weeks later I seriously regret buying the cheapo starter kit. This Kanger is sorta-OK at best, but if you appreciate mods/tanks/etc that don't suck EVEN IF YOU'RE NEW to vaping. This thing is a peice of junk for 70$ starter kit price they listed. (20 of it was from the insanely overpriced e-juice) The worker showed me how to saturate the coil, screw it on, rings me up and out the door I go. Next time I'll use better judgement and research more first, listen to my instincts and never come back here so they can hustle me and shove me out the door. What a lame experience, won't be back.

NetVapes is my new go to Vape store. The customer service is awesome…read more I bought my first Vape at a friends store yesterday because he said he would help me out. He set my machine up incorrectly and I was upset. Took my setup into the store and asked for help. Brett looked at what I had and fixed it right away. He answered all of my beginners questions without sounding condescending like I have experienced when asking others about vaping. That's not even the coolest part. Brett asked me how much I paid for my setup, told me I got a good price, and only ever asked that I come back and support his place of business. You could tell his passion for the job was what drove him to be there. He stocked my Vape with on the house liquid, told me that if I had any recurring issues he would help me out best he could, and invited me back. I'll definitely be returning. On top of everything else they're trying to support the cause and inform people of the pending legislation regarding vaping and vapor lounges. Cool stuff guys. Short version: bought a setup somewhere else, took it in there to get fixed after being busted, wasn't charged a dime, and was given some free product. 5.5/5 will return.

This is the first time in a loonngg time that we decided to visit it one more time cause we know it's been renovated 7-8 yrs ago i think? We reserved a suite room and celebrated my and husband's birthday weekend. After dinner, we just had our pregame in our room to save $ on drinks before we headed to the lounge. The place was a lot better than the old one since it looks more spacious. It was not crowded for a Saturday night and that was really great. There's a few tables and seats downstairs but we preferred going upstairs and that's where we stayed. Only 2 of the 4 sofas/tables were occupied so that was really good. They play all kinds of music and I like the dj coz he knows what he's doing with mixing and playing good ones. However, the downside being upstairs is that noone or any of the staff will go there to ask for your order. You have to go down and get them yourself. Also, I noticed that they don't set rules for dress code anymore even though it says on the website. You see people with just shorts, shirts and sleepers and/or sandals on. So it was kind of a turn-off for me. They should require people dressed accordingly before they let them in. I don't mind to also pay an entrance fee ($10-15) This way they can preserve the place with class and elegance somehow. Just my thoughts.

It's convenient that there is also a bathroom up there. Came here on a Saturday night. No IDs checked prior to entry. No cover fee. The place was packed! On their website, there was a dress code. When we got there, almost everyone is in normal clothing attire. We were unaware that you could literally wear anything! If you are in a group, even if you are not going to drink or get a drink, the bartender will literally deny your group purchase of alcohol if everyone do not show their ID. You'd literally have to step away from your group, just so they can buy their drinks. Find this really interesting. The music was nice at the beginning of the night but at the end of the night, mainly EDM.

First of all the outside patio seating was spotless! The inside was huge with plenty of seating! I was really surprised how nice it was inside with a full bar and plenty of choices! I ordered the chicken satay with peanut sauce and a version of chicken pho soup but Thai style. OMG...both dishes were delicious! The portions were right on point and the flavors were awesome ! I especially liked the 4 different Seasonings in the jars to enhance my soup ( love it hot and spicy!) It's a classy yet casual place that also has happy hour and live music! Dave( one of the owners?) Was super kind and makes you feel welcome! They have done a great job with upgrades to this establishment! AGAIN...THEY ALLOW DOGS IN THE OUTSIDE PATIO...JUST MAKE SURE THEY ARE WELL BEHAVED! I will definitely be back! Food was fresh and healthy ! Great experience with friendly and fast service!

Maybe it's my Asian background and being used to authentic Thai food, but the food just wasn't good. The boat noodles were missing that rich, dark, beefy broth they're known for. Instead, the broth tasted bland and lacked the deep, savory flavor that makes boat noodles so delicious. The Pad Thai barely had any sauce. You could clearly see the noodles were still almost clear instead of being coated. The little sauce it did have mostly tasted like sugar and salt. The curry was also disappointing. I didn't notice any Thai basil or the fresh herbs and flavors you'd normally expect. Overall, the food tasted more like Thai fusion than authentic Thai cuisine. The service wasn't great either. There were several employees standing around even though the restaurant wasn't busy, yet we still had to wait before anyone came over to ask if we'd been helped. Also, if you're planning a date night or just want to have a conversation, don't come on a Friday unless you call ahead to see if there's a live band. The music was so loud that we could barely hear each other. What surprised me most is that the location and atmosphere are actually really nice. The restaurant has a great setup, and the other side has more of a bar/lounge vibe that people would probably enjoy. Honestly, the atmosphere is much better than the food. If the food were even half as good as the location and ambiance, this place could be amazing. I'm especially disappointed because eating out is so expensive these days. I even tried taking the boat noodles home and adding hoisin sauce and boat noodle seasoning, but I couldn't save them. It still tasted bad. Total waste of money. Sadly, I won't be coming back.

Turned out that the music was DJ only, but we at least liked his musical choices. The place turned out to be a mismatch for us. We were looking for more of a restaurant setting, but this was more like a club with food. That's on us, not them. We ordered the burger and tots and a salad with chicken added. It took a seriously long time for our food to arrive, and I really wondered if we might need to excuse ourselves as it was simply taking too long. The food did finally arrive and was decently executed. The salad was beautiful and a good size, and the burger was good enough and the tots were plentiful. The service was friendly -- just slow. The place had the look of being new and just getting established, so hopefully, they'll iron out the problems. Parking was at meters in Old Sacramento -- reasonably. Bottom line: This was fine, but we probably won't return. Too many better options available in Sacramento when we're in town.
