We came here for a friends birthday and while the concept of the lounge sounded fun and intriguing, it was definitely a bust. The name is misleading, you think it's going to be like a beercade but it actually is like a dance club? There is a cover to get in which is fine, but I didn't find it worth my $ once I was in there. I personally think they're confused on what their theme is because it was all over the place. It's 80s theme, yet I literally hear no 80s music play last night...more like 90s and 2000's or current trap music. Throwback arcade lounge has potential to be something really really awesome. The drinks/shots are good. $6 for a shot, $9 for a well drink if I am remembering correct. Super awesome atmosphere and the perfect place to dance! One of the reasons why I gave four stars instead of five was because the bar tending staff was very disorganized. I went to the bar to order a drink and the person to my left AND the person to the right were closing out their tab only for a server to tell them they didn't have their credit card on file. I hope they got their cards back eventually! To the bartenders defense it was very busy and their first opening night. I am confident that with more experience and learning from their opening night they will be able to provide great service. PSA: they have a dress code so make sure no hats or sweats! The concept is pretty simple- it can be a little bit of everything and fills a niche in the downtown space. Whether you're looking for a casual night playing arcade games and Nintendo with friends, enjoy a summer evening on a rooftop lounge, or you want to have bottle service and a hot dance floor for a special occasion- this place has it all. Unlike many clubs and lounges they also will have a snack bar for food- Perfect to soak up your alcohol before you head home for the night. The music selection here is also great- if you grew up in the 80s and beyond there will be music here that you like. Everything from Prince and Madonna to Cardi B and Beyoncé. I have used yelp twice in my life, both times to write a bad review for this place. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. We only gave this place another shot because the Max was at capacity. Should have just gone home. The staff is rude and the bouncers/security gave us a side-eye as if we were criminals. The DJ was garbage, and the music was even worse. We had to play a guessing game each time a new song came on. How are we supposed to dance when 3 different songs are playing at once. The crowd was weird, and every man in that place had a staring problem. It was like they were waiting for me to buy a drink just so they could put something in it. We paid a $10 cover just to stay for 10 minutes. This place is so disappointing because it has so much potential. This place is good for photos, but not if you want to have fun or feel safe. I would not recommend this bar to anyone. Not even my worst enemy. Save your money and go to Dave and Busters or something. Worst place in Omaha. read more

I had no expectations other than thinking..."Yay! A new arcade?!" This place is NOT an arcade. It is a THEMED BAR and that's it. $10 cover "because the games are free and there's a live DJ". Ok...well we'd easily spend $20 on games so we figured no biggie. Until we tried a game. There are maybe 15 consoles in the entire place. Not ONE pinball machine! All of the cabinets that say "Galaga or Ms.Pac-Man are not the original games in the cabinet. These original cabinets have been modded to house a cheap multi-game system that has many games.... Mostly no-name games and the joystick controllers are terrible. They need to NOT advertise as an arcade and just let those be there as part of their themed 80's decor. The space is large and they def are trying to bring in and cater to parties...like adult birthday parties with bottle service it's pretty hysterical as if this biz model was trying to be something that you'd experience in Vegas. The customer service was terrible regarding the security and management. When I went to point out that people were leaving because of the bad choice of songs and/or the music having nothing to do with throwbacks, instead trap music, the security guard was extremely hostile with me and said "do you want to stay or do you want to get kicked out." From there, my group tried to enjoy the place since we paid $40 to get in and didn't want to waste that money for nothing and that's when the security guard got very hostile with my sister and pushed her and her fiancé to the exit. I saw that they were heading to the exit so I followed them and told the security guard, I'm with them, and he said "I don't care get out of the way." That's when the security assaulted me and forced me to the ground for being with them, and once I was on the ground the security guard said "don't throw a punch at me again"(the same security guard that I had complained about the music to). The guard clearly had a vendetta against me from the start. I was shocked when the staff assaulted me based on prejudice from making a complaint. Terrible experience and very unprofessional. Glad the security didn't have guns because they are trigger happy and unprofessional. I would like to take formal action to file a complaint against the assault. Hopefully they will share their camera footage to reveal the truth. read more

Went here Sunday night before Memorial Day. The bars all around downtown were busy, which makes sense for a holiday weekend. Throwback wasn't ready for that memo, unfortunately. The weather was nice, and my group and several others made a beeline for the rooftop patio where games and seating should've been ready. The lights were off up there though. I asked a bartender who to ask to get the lights on upstairs so we can have fun, and she had to text the manager who was nowhere to be found. After several other groups went downstairs asking for the lights to turn on, they sent a security guard up to clear everyone downstairs before 11pm. A ten dollar cover for chilling on only the main floor on a nice day was not worth it at all. read more

If you are visiting Omaha, DO NOT GO HERE! Came in and got a drink at around 8pm on a Saturday with some friends. Played giant jenga on the roof and was having a great time. When we went back downstairs to get more drinks at 9, there was literally 8 security personnel that came in and one hounded me to take off my hat (while he himself was wearing one). When I asked why, it was because it had a logo but it was literally a hat with an avocado on it - like wtf mate. Either they have a weird power trip or there is a violence problem needing so many security and a weird push to avoid symbols (even avocados). I left at that point cause it was just feeling odd in terms of number of security vs guests and super weird dress code restrictions. If you are visiting, there are SOOOO many better places to go so don't bother here. read more

This place is awesome! All of their staff and managers made me feel at home and like a member of their family since my first time ever there. Great drink specials with liquid nitrogen and lots of great weekly events! Highly recommend! FYI Thursdays are Ladies Nights so free cover for the ladies all night! I was very excited about this new club in Omaha upon entry. It has a great vibe, DJs and music. I've been here twice now as of February and even though I did have fun both times there is a very pressing issue that MUST be addressed. There is one medium sized dance floor with LED lights on the floor. There are railings surrounding the floor with two entry points. The guard rails that align the dance floor are accompanied by narrow shelves, perhaps roughly about 6 inches in depth that go along the perimeter of the floor. There are NO drinks allowed on the dance floor and both times in my experience (one on New Years eve, one on a Friday) one security guard who monitors the dance floor forces you to place your drink on the shelves that align the floor that he monitors. Here's the thing though. It's not monitored. Tonight, on a Friday, one drink was knocked over from the shelf, outside of the dance floor. Okay, so someone lost their full drink and has to buy another...not exactly fair, but also not the end of the world, no big deal. That drink was on the floor for awhile though, unnoticed before the security guard even did anything....See what I'm getting at? There were about three dozen drinks on these narrow tables consistently at any given time with no one watching or even realistically being kept track of, being altered with no employee paying attention yet patrons are forced to place their drinks here if they want to dance? Do the owners or even patrons of this club realize how unsafe this is? As a young man, I was raised by my parents to not only monitor my own beverage at a bar or club but also the beverages of my female companions as well, as they should never NEVER let their own drinks out of their hands or sight as that welcomes strangers to drug their drinks and possibly date rape them, and yet this club enforces both men and women to do the opposite and endanger their own safety, bodies, as well as coherence? It's actually disgusting if you think about it and the owners and enforcers of this policy should absolutely have issues sleeping at night as they could be inadvertently helping coerce the rape of countless lives in the Omaha metro area, but my hope is they see this in time before it is too late, before someone is harmed or they are sued, and fix this issue somehow. Drinks cannot be forced or encouraged to be left unattended by staff and owners. It's simply unethical and I will not stand by to let it happen. I will not let my friend, sister, brother, relative, or anyone with a pulse enter this club for as long as this rule carries on. It is simply not safe or ethical. I will warn everyone I come across. NO DRINK LEFT UNATTENDED EVER! ESPECIALLY under the false pretense that it will be monitored by security bc as a paranoid patron who cares and paid attention (I should've been paid), it absolutely was not watched either time I was there. It was a $10 cover to come into a so called "club" where you aren't allowed to bring your drink on the dance floor. There was high security at the door to the point they wouldn't even let you wear a beanie inside. They have you set your drink on a one of multiple tables on the side of the dance floor, where the bouncer is not even watching your drink and is only focused on the girls dancing. There was nothing stopping girls being absolutely drugged from strangers. Not to mention the dance floor was already so sticky and disgusting They did not care.
