We keep track of our play and we were well within the 12 min per hole average. At the turn we were given a choice to play on the Arroyo versus the Lakes course as they pro said it was less crowded. We enjoyed Arroyo but were baffled as to the reason Mesa/Lakes was overbooked with a pushy marshal instead of spreading out play on all three courses. The course has all the ingredients of a great resort course but is being managed like a racetrack.

The menu had some items marked as gluten-free, but when I asked our server about them, he told me they "still had a little bit of gluten." When I asked what he meant, he wasn't sure. I asked if he was referring to cross-contamination, and he said he thought so, but he couldn't give me a clear answer. Since I have celiac disease and can't risk eating gluten, I decided not to order any food. I would recommend providing staff with better training on gluten-free options and food allergies so they can confidently answer questions from guests with dietary restrictions.
