This place being located on the inner East side is perfect for anyone that side of Chavez Blvd. Would recommend here to our customers. most of these negative reviews sound like people who had no idea what they were doing.

I…read morecalled when we got the unit a month ago and was told I hadn't verified my identity, which is why my gate code wasn't working. I was told this from inside the gate, with no way out, because someone had happened to be leaving as we arrived, and we thought, "Surely they have working sensors on the inside of the gates so that they don't trap anyone in here." That was wrong, that's exactly what happened, which is a crime actually (looked it up since we're new here). I was told to call 911 for help from their customer service team because they had no way of manually releasing the gate. Fortunately I was able to release the gate myself to avoid having emergency services dispatched so that we could leave our storage unit facility. It doesn't end there; we called about this matter as most probably would after being held hostage. We were informed of the issue, and we agreed to meet with someone at another site, even farther away (we're driving over an hour one way to use the facility), to verify my identity. We did this, accomplished the task, and were told that we were good to go. And guess what? We weren't. The gate code still didn't work; the person had left by the time we made it there, and a robot kept sending me back to the main page whenever I tried to call again. There's no one in their office because they bought the place out from under someone else and didn't bother to hire anyone (previous owner left a note basically saying good luck to anyone unfortunate enough to rent from them). Once I requested to rent a new unit, I was finally able to speak with someone, and they just said they were sorry and didn't know what to tell me. Fortunately, someone kind entered their code so we could get into the facility and access our unit again, and I was able to release the gate and let ourselves out...again. Now, I even gave them the benefit of the doubt here and thought maybe it would just take 24 to 48 hours to process, despite being told it would be resolved instantly when I called, before I drove an hour and a half one way to verify my ID. Guess what? That didn't help either. Still didn't work; still couldn't get anyone on the phone; still no one on site; and still no help. So I let myself in and out again because what the hell else are we going to do? We're literally paying for this! Seems criminal to me, but what do I know? Maybe if I post this review all over the internet, THEN we'll finally get a working gate code. Thanks for nothing Public Storage!

Usually when I think of security gate, I think for whatever reason something sort of prison style, in other words not terribly attractive. Such is not the case with our security gate. It is extremely well built and attractive and has added definition AND security to our building. Let's talk customer service. From their customer service rep, Gale, who I think runs the office, takes orders, does project management, and generally runs interference to the very nice gentleman who installed the gate, I never sensed anything but total commitment to our project, and in fact they acted like we were their only customer. A couple of our residents complained that the gate made clashing noises that disrupted their sleep. I called Gale and she had their installation serviceman out the same day. It was so hot that day that if you moved, you started sweating. I'm sorry I can't remember his name, but the serviceman stood out in the blinding heat and worked straight for two hours without complaint until the gate no longer clashed or made much of any noise at all. His dedication saved the sanity of many during the hot summer. I know we're giving them further business over the next year, and I can without hesitation suggest that if you have metal fabrication needs for your house or business that you contact A Two Fabrication. They will do right by you every step of the way.

We were in the market for a stair lift, and the operations manager, Debbie, was so personable and proficient, outlining all the costs, relayed detailed information on what to expect installation wise, and timing. This interaction instilled so much confidence, that we looked no further, knowing we would be in good hands with Bearson. Very unlike me, as I usually shop around when purchasing something of this dollar value. I've never gone with the first company contacted, but so glad we did! We sure appreciated Chris, the installer. He was very masterful putting the lift in, and took extreme care to make sure everything was just right. You can tell Chris takes pride in his work, like coiling/securing the extra electrical cord in a very neat and tidy manner. Chris did a fine job instructing us on the lift's features and how to use/maintain it. Follow up has been remarkable! The lift was experiencing a slight mechanical issue, and Chris and Debbie were right on it. It was a from-the-factory problem, which Bearson replaced, free of charge! Any email or phone call is responded to lightening fast...Debbie even returned an email on her day off! I'm fortunate enough to have recovered from a surgery well enough where a stair lift is no longer needed. Debbie and Chris were just out, and the lift's been put out of commission for now. They worked me in to when they would be in the area and would not take compensation for doing so. Unheard of these days! when I picked up a log splitter the experience was good. the price was good. I picked it up right…read morebefore they closed for an early start in the morning. when looked over the splitter before leaving there is a pin that holds the splitter in place for travel. the keeper that keeps the pin in place could not be the original. on the way home the fastener that keeps the keeper in place came off causing the splitter to stand up while driving. I stopped I fixed. the Splitter worked ok. When I returned the splitter I let the guy behind the counter was very rude especially when I told him about the pin coming loose. He said they never had a problem before. I told him that there was no way it was the OEM locking system. He irritated that they never had a problem. on my way out I looked at another splitter that was the same and it had another jury rigged keeper but different. The hours of operation is another reason I will never use them again. I went there because the cost was cheaper than Home Depot. They close much earlier this means the cost is much more over all because operating hours. Home Depot 125.00. Johnson Creek rentals 175.00 advertised price less but it costs more and equipment is old and safety of equipment is not a concern judging by the person that checked me out. I was hoping to use a smaller more local company when I went to Johnson Creek rental.

UPDATE - 6/26/2026 I…read morewill say that Roger (the site manager) did go out of his way to help us as best he could. He loaned a smaller unit to secure some of our most precious remaining items, credited us for a month free rent, etc. That said, when I went to check on our stuff the next day, I found that it had been entered AGAIN. There was a chair in front of our unit that they used to scale the wall, and tape over the camera. Since this was a Sunday, nobody from their corporate call center was available to help us in any way. After speaking with several other tenants we found that at least six other units had been burglarized recently. Completely unacceptable. The company has since hired private security to patrol the premises, but this is obviously a temporary PR fix and not a long term solution. The security vulnerability is unchanged. If you value your possessions, do NOT trust this place until they address the low walls and thin mesh ceilings.

Their website has numerous references to assistance for low-income seniors (I'm 69) re: case mgmnt services, referrals and or "assistance" w finding housing, access to food ( when I inquired about receiving food I was given a sm plastic bag containing 3 cans of food; one of green beans, 1 can red kidney beans and a can of peas). When I call and or talk to staff members who say they work with seniors, I am always told that they are not really offering services to seniors right now except rhe occasional onsite elder LGTPQ+ parties (that staff also attend) and, zoom literary presentations (which are quite good but are these the extensive senior services that the website is referring to?) Plus I once brought in some of my nicer clothes, ( that no longer fit) freshly laundered and or dry cleaned to donate. Maybe 12 items, colorful and in excellent condition. The staff member who accepted them did not offer any appreciation or gesture of gratitude but held up each closely scrutinizing each one, in front of another staff person ( I don't know if the woman who did this is there any longer? I didn't catch her name ..?) They do have a nice fitness area, and classes ( I've always had to pay extra for) except for a brief art therapy session / wkshop which was wonderful! Also they have food donated ( which the staff also take) including sourdough bread and potted herbs from Trader Joe's. I think the place has a sound vision and philosophy as stated on their website. But it's not quite like this in reality. Plus the website says everything is offered free of charge. This is not true. They would not let me touch a computer or anything else for that matter, until I paid for a membership. I DO qualify for one that is subsidized so I appreciate that! Though now I am a bit afraid to visit very often because one of the last times I visited the front desk person and a houseless person seemed to be having an argument. The houseless person got violent and began swinging a large bat type thing. It was frightening to witness tho I've been in a few times since then. Also one more BIG thing to mention; the director replaced all of my keys that were lost there, paying for all of them! I will be forever indebted for her kindness!!
