Throughout my appointment, she had the calmest spirit, a friendly smile, and treated me with care. There was another woman there whose name I did not get, but was talkative and friendly as well. She sits at the last nail station. Let's talk environment. It's small. Three stations for nails and three for pedicures. Tools were in its original packaging which is important. Place was clean. Just needed to just off a chair some. Heat was on - much appreciated. Music on and low. Wonderful. I plan on coming back to see how Lynn does with dip. Her attitude is very arrogant and condescending. . She tried to steal me away from the person who had been doing my nails for years. Shady. I wanted ombre nails and of course the daughter was the only one who could do them. Guess what, they looked like ish. I told her I didn't like them. My thing was it was very oblivious, but she went on as if she did a fantastic job, as if I was not going to say anything. Aside from them not being open on Sunday's which was inconvenient..always the only day I could go was Saturday's and that monopolized my time. The final straw, I went on a Thursday in between work, and the daughter, lied and said her mom would be there in 15 mins, the woman, I went to was off for some strange reason. After waiting 45 minutes and being told, her mother was circling the block for 1/2 hr, because she could not find parking, was a Bold Face lie. I left. Called on Saturday, the woman who did my nails was still MIA and no explanation or reason was given. I then asked for the owner. I was told she was there. So to me that meant I could go. I did not like anyone else doing my nails after the ombre fiasco. I get a call not even 2 mins later from the daughter, my mother is busy, there is a long wait and she's leaving early. I said, don't ever call my phone again, there are literally a million nails shops...and you are a LIAR. I think this was a way to steer customers to her and the other new person they hired. It does you no good to be loyal to these shops. They don't care about that. So from here on out no loyalty from me. When I think of all the $$ I spent there, it pisses me off. Middle finger to them. I will never step foot in there again. They don't do all the fancy nail designs, just basic and boring nails and they try to manipulate everyone to get gel medi/pedi. Also their prices are high for the location Grove Hall and inconvenience of not having ample parking.
