Good, authentic Sichuan dishes! Will be back and hopefully try more. Only me so got the boiled beef...only thing to comment on is the beef was not as tender as I've had at other restaurants. Service is good, little slow coming out but seems pretty busy so will let that slide...worth the wait.

I drove over from Augusta, out here in a business trip. I wasn't expecting much, but this place had me absolutely floored. I was greeted with immediately greeted with a smile and a plate of wonton chips and a sweet and sour sauce. The server was quick, attentive, and so polite. The first page of the menu describes the origins of this adorable local restaurant. The food was amazing (I had the General Tso's Chicken) . The atmosphere is very friendly and inviting.

Was in town and this was the first restaurant we decided to try. We ordered a bunch of dishes. Some of the ones that stood out scallion lamb, fried green bean, and garlic water spinach. Only downside was after we were sat no one came to our table for like 20 minutes. Restaurant seems cozy.

I was gunna gate keep but I need them to stay in business!! I try to come at least once a month. To the point where the owners call me Spicy girl. Staff is always friendly and happy to see you. Only down part about this place it's so far from my house but so worth the drive. Please never close!

I ordered their roast duck, mapo tofu, and wontons in spicy sauce. The roast duck packed a ton of flavor without being too salty and had small sweet nodes to it. The skin was crispy as can be and the meat was succulent and juicy. The mapo tofu had a great semi thick consistency with a great sichuan kick and amazing umami flavor. Finally, the wontons in the spicy sauce had the perfect consistency inside and the sauce added a spicy, flavorful kick to the bouncy wontons. Cheers!

Tianluo Bistro opened my palette and curiosity to Schezuan style cooking. Their Ma Po Tofu and Twice Cooked Pork are my favorite dishes. The sauces are complex, savory with the perfect amount of spice. I wish there was more pork belly in the Twice Cooked Pork dish though. The Steamed Dumpling (soup dumplings) are really good and would recommend order them. The Braised Pork (with Bok Choy) is also really tasty and popular. The Walnut Shrimp had too much mayo on it for my liking. The Chow Ho Fun and Beef and Broccoli taste hasn't been consistent the last few times. Their portions are large for family style dining. However, I wish they would add a serving spoon to each dish. Service has always been hit or miss. The owners are very personable and genuinely happy you chose to dine at their restaurant. The most recent times the food come out fairly quick. Prices are reasonable for the amount of food. I'm determined to try each dish at least once, but it's difficult to shy away from my favorite dishes so far!

In Wichita for work, was excited to find authentic Szechuan food! The staff is very friendly and welcoming and the chef is awesome. He really cares about the quality of his cuisine. Even came out to make sure I was completely satisfied. If you haven't tried real Szechuan, I highly recommend it. I had the Dan Dan Noodles and Chongqing Chicken, both delicious, spicy and with the great numbing spice of Szechuan peppercorns. Restaurant is clean with good ambiance.

Wichita has always needed a Szechuan restaurant, and I was so thrilled to see this restaurant when I came back to visit. While they have your standard Chinese American fare, they also have probably the most wide variety of authentic dishes I've ever seen in any Chinese restaurant in Wichita. Do yourself a favor and go out of your comfort zone when you come here, you won't be disappointed! I went with a couple friends and we decided to try a variety of dishes. CUCUMBERS WITH GARLIC SAUCE - Crunchy smashed cucumbers are diced and tossed in a tangy, garlicky, and salty sauce. A classic at any Szechuan restaurant. Very delicious! CRAB RANGOON - On the sweeter side, but with a nice crunchy shell. GREEN ONION PANCAKE - These were probably the most disappointing part of our meal because while they were very tasty, they were incredibly oily and greasy. Maybe the oil wasn't hot enough? SIZZLING BEEF - We saw lots of other tables ordering this. The plate is brought out like a sizzling plate of fajitas at a Mexican restaurant - fresh out of the kitchen, bubbling and sizzling. As for the dish itself, it's your typical Beef & Peppers, but freshly prepared with perfectly seasoned beef and veggies that aren't too crunchy. Not spicy at all. FRIED RICE WITH SALTED FISH AND CHICKEN - More places need to offer fish and chicken fried rice! It's my absolute favorite, and Tianluo's was no exception. The fried rice was some of the best I've had ever, and the tiny chunks of chicken had a nice crispy sear on them. FISH FILLET WITH PICKLED CABBAGE AND CHILI - My absolute favorite dish of the evening, and it was even a hit with my friends who had never tried anything like it. Spicy and flavorful, with a creamy broth that I want to just drink on a cold day or if I'm feeling under the weather. The fish was perfectly cooked, too SWEET & SOUR RIBS - This dish had the smallest portion of everything served, but was still tasty. The sauce was tangy and sweet, and the meat was tender. I will definitely be returning here whenever I'm in town!

Food was pretty good. My noodle dish started off FIRE & then became a little too much. My husbands was really good-- I just cannot remember the name of the dishes. Lol. Service was unreal.. they were so kind & sweet. Super helpful. Menu was a little big which made it hard to decide. Casual, laid back atmosphere. Good for a date or a quick bite to eat.

They brought this out of the back for us - heavenly.

Food: 5; Staff: 4.5; Ambiance: 4; Location: 3 Will give this…read morean overall rating of 4 of 5 - however, my "points off" from a 5 have nothing to do with the food. I've read a few reviews on here that complain about the food. The fact is that EVERY buffet diner will have some food that sat out a little too long from time to time. You will never avoid that. The good news here is that this staff is very attentive to the food lines and in the 30 plus times we've dined there, it is RARE that the food is cold, or "unappealing" (according to one reviewer). We have always found the food to be warm-hot, tasty and of good quality. There is a nice variety and for me, I specifically love the coconut shrimp and Onion Shrimp. Everyone won't like every food they present - I, for one, don't like the Japanese style chicken they serve - but that is an individual taste and doesn't mean the food is "bad". Dessert line is limited but sufficient - and unlike other buffet's we've frequented, the ice cream machine has never run out. Another nice benefit of this buffet is their takeout. You can come in and, for a fixed price, fill a takeout container with as much as you can grab. They will have a bag, utensils and fortune cookie waiting for you when you are finished. The staff is usually very attentive and efficient. Yes, one or two people that work there aren't "talkative", and some language difficulties can appear to be "anger", or "rudeness", but the fact is they do their job. They will ask children their ages - because they have an age cutoff for their pricing - and unfortunately many adults will lie to get the cheaper price. The children are most always honest. It's not "badgering" like one person reviewed - it's their right. Now - why I reviewed as a 4 and not a 5? The location is in an awkward place. It is one block over from the "red brick" main street and near the southwestern outskirts of the town. This is mainly an industrial area, and the roads around the restaurant are less than ideal. The building is older, and their popularity has out-grown their space so many times it gets crowded there, and parking becomes limited (although there is a parking lot area across the street from them). This is actually great for the food turnover, keeping it fresh and hot. It would benefit them to look into moving to a larger facility within the main area of the town (maybe buy out the Hidalgo's building?). The ambiance is nice, and there are TV screens usually showing some sports event. Overall, you are missing out on a hidden Chinese buffet gem if you don't visit this place. We've lived in many different states, and King Buffet resides in the top 3 or 4 of our buffet lists.

The cold foods were grouped together really weirdly. I don't feel that seafood should be that close to dessert. If it was the only restaurant in town, I would probably drive to another town to eat. Service: 1/5 The waitress was not attentive at all's Ambiance: 3/5 The bathroom was so dark I could barely see to lock the restroom door. They only have two dim fan lights, but it did smell ok in there. I literally couldn't tell you if it was clean or not, which might be the point.

After we lost a very long-time restaurant in the area, we were at a loss for good Asian food. You…read moreeither had a franchise that is hit or miss, or Dillon's deli. We came across Asian One, and have been pleased. Some of the dishes are not totally authentic, the Kung-Pau Chicken isn't quite as spicy as some are, and is served more with a brown sauce than a spicy sauce, but for the affordable price it is still very satisfying. Alone I don't care for the fried rice, and will opt for steamed white rice instead, but if you stir it together with the main dish, it is very flavorful, otherwise it is a little dry and lacks taste of it's own. Moo-Goo Gai-pan misses the mark, and again chicken and vegetables served with a brown sauce, traditional is more of a clear thickened sauce and not a lot of crunch. I do love the crab ragoons. and egg rolls, I almost feel the egg rolls are frozen and not fresh, but its a side anyway, Don't care. We keep going back, as it satisfies the craving and there is usually enough left over from a meal for lunch the next day. To feed two for under $20 is hard to do with take out anymore, let alone get two meals from it. Now that we talked about the food, lets talk about the service. It is always very courteous and quick. Though I have never been there when they weren't busy, they get the food out very quickly. For made to order food, this I don't think I have ever waited more than 10-15 minutes, and such very nice people. I would recommend giving them a try, not every place is for everyone, but I feel they fill the perfect niche in the neighborhood.
