The staff are so sweet and kind. Very attentive to your tables being cleaned as in dishes, refilling yoir drinks & picking up small trash. They asked often how we were doing along with if we needed anything. Mentioned the special and drink suggestions. Food was delicious. Did not have any issues or disappointments. Their desserts are amazing evwry time. Highly recommend, but do suggest arriving as they open and getting onto the list. They will become very busy quite quickly. Stopped by while in town from a recommendation. Was told to get the shrimp cargot and I wasn't disappointed. Great way to start the meal. I also ordered the chicken fried chicken and it tasted like comfort food. Loved how busy this place was which is always a good sign. And even though they were busy, the waitress was very attentive. The food? Alllll the stars. The service? Fabulous table attention. The bar? Slowwww, but hey, it was a Saturday. A cold Saturday night and we were famished. Thankfully, Yelp was able to make some suggestions in the Bradley Fair area and Redrock Canyon was exactly what we wanted. Insiders know that you can join the waitlist through the Yelp app, Redrock will message you to let you know your spot in line, and when you walk in, you're set to go. For a busy night, this was absolutely bombastic and earned me marriage points. Thanks, Redrock! Our server, Roam (sp?), was super friendly and gave us all the time we needed for drink & meal selections. We were celebrating a life and drinks were in order, so a glass of bubbles for my wife, a beer for the boy, & an old-fashioned for an old man like me were all just right. Thing is, the drinks were wayyyyy behind, but ya know, the bar people were HOPPIN', so I give out the grace. It's not like they weren't trying. Food was served up fresh and hot and Redrock has an ARMY of people coming & going. Oh, your water glass is empty? Snatch! some kind helper grabs it & replaces it with a fresh one. Finished with that salad plate, sir? Yank! by another quick and friendly soul. Pretty impressive service. Dinner plating was detailed & striking and the kitchen is definitely getting it done. Watchers of 'The Bear' know that stuff ain't easy. It's a Southwest-ish themed menu, but if you're down for something else, be it fish or fowl, then they have you covered. Even the side salad, dressed with their house Southwest-y vinaigrette, is spectacular. Sweet, maybe a touch smoky, but pairs well with the greens & veggies. The Mrs. had the Southwest Chicken Salad, and just know that the roasted chicken mixed in is a huge portion. She crushed that salad and loved the protein/ veggie ratio! Even the boy loved his grilled grouper, served hot and dressed just right. You can sit inside or out in reasonable weather (not today), the bar seating is fairly sizable if you're there just for a drink/shareable, and the tables turn quickly. Pricing is on par with the value of the food, and with dranks/eats for three, we were out of there around $120 plus tip. Totally worth the experience! Great food, great staff, great place. read more

I think this is a chain. It was close to the hotel so we came here for dinner. Our server was very attentive, my cup never went empty, which I appreciated for both my water and soda. I didn't want too much to eat so I ordered the salmon Caesar salad. It came with cornbread, which I don't eat but the cornbread croutons were delicious!! I loved it! TLDR/ Nah. I gave this place a second chance after an experience so bad I couldn't bring myself to write about it on here and they were just above mediocre. This place is a soft pass, like politely declining to go to your friend's parent's house for thanksgiving and the food and ambiance would probably match that experience. Food 4/5 - Salad was good but over dressed. The deviled eggs were very vinegary and poorly plated. The ywere literally falling apart. The main entrees were good. Not great but good. Service 1/5 Our server was absent from the first to the last. We ended up having to ask someone else for boxes and our check. The hosts were also awkward when we explained that the booth they wanted to sit us at would not accommodate my husband's weight. The whole experience was made poor. The server who was absent tried to take my entree away while I was still trying to box it. I honestly don't even know what was up with the service at this place. When my meal was brought out, a different server tried to offer me bread but it was clear that there would be an up charge so I declined, as I was already ordering pasta and did not need bread. Now it would have been nice to be offered that option when ordering but hey, why not try to upsell the customer half way through their meal. Ambiance: 3/5 Dark and upscale but in a dated way. There is nothing wrong with the restaurant but there is also not a whole lot that felt right about it either. Went here for the first time and was very impressed! Service was top notch. Didn't go a second without my cup being full. Our group got the queso and spinach & artichoke dip for an appetizer. Both were great. I got the roasted chicken, potatoes, and broccoli (seasonal veggie). It was all AMAZING. The potatoes were perfect consistency and the flavor was spot on. Chicken was tender and flavorful. We split "the chocolate" dessert, key lime pie, and pound cake. Personally, the pound cake wasn't super impressive. But the other two desserts were top notch. Rough night at the Rock! Typically one of my favs but everyone has an off day. Service was slow, 28 minutes from sitting before the bottle of wine was brought to table. Such a friendly nice waitress brought to table because our waiter was pretty distant. She accidentally cut her hand opening bottle. Hope she is okay! Food was close so changed order to a glass of wine because I came to unwind with a drink but the meal was going to beat the wine to the table at this point. Didn't go as planned. It's been a while since we have eaten there but it's one of my favorite restaurants. They have the BEST pork chops and delicious salads.

2nd visit here we tried the fried calamari. Definitely will order some again next time. Generous portion topped with creamy garlic aioli and serves with a house made thin salsa for dipping. The calamari was not rubbery and seasoned with a light crispy coating. Service was once again excellent. We got seated right away after joining the waitlist on our way there. Absolutely in my top 3 favorite dining experiences in Wichita so far ! Whenever we visit we always try to go to the new spots and this spot did not disappoint. I recommend it for a special occasion, date night or just an evening out. Everything we got was delicious but not just that- it was presented so beautifully. The most unique item I had was the cheesy shrimp appetizer . My favorite was also the house salad (crazy right?! Lol) that salad was so fresh, delicious dressing and croutons. I would get it Everytime. The coconut pineapple margarita was also amazing. Literally I was not disappointed-none of us were. The service was outstanding but sadly the food didn't match up. Our first night in town we were excited to try Redrock, only 1 member of our group liked her meal BUT we all loved the spinach artichoke dip and fresh salsa. We ordered the shrimp scampi- very greasy and hard to find a flavor over the butter, chicken enchilada platter- larger portion and very cheesy tasted good at the time but didn't sit well post meal, meatloaf- something in the mix made it spicy which is not something I was expecting or look for in a home style meatloaf, substituted the carrots for the roasted mushrooms (mushrooms were outstanding) and finally chicken fried chicken - the dish that was loved by the one who ordered it- while it had quite a bit of breading the flavor was delicious and came with mashed potatoes (they were from scratch and very peppery which may have just been an issue that night). Group consensus was we are unlikely to return even if it was an off night for the kitchen. read more

We have been to Redrock three times and love it. It is a nice place--not super fancy, but nice for a date night or special occasion. Their price point is very reasonable. The service is good and the food is excellent. The yummy roast chicken is their signature dish, but the ribs were probably the best ribs I've tasted in a restaurant. Their signature sides of mashed red potatoes and glazed carrots are also great, and the appetizer of queso and salsa with tortilla chips that we had yesterday was delicious. Drinks are good here, nice pours, good wine list. Service is outstanding always. Don't forget dessert! Something Chocolate is to DIE for!! A three-layer treat includes two cinnamon-chocolate brownies sandwiched around vanilla bean ice cream and topped with dark chocolate fudge, toasted walnuts, chocolate sauce, caramel sauce, and whipped cream!
