Was excited to try this place visiting Wichita. We came at 11am when they open up and it was already busy. We both got the buffet. They had a salad station, a side station, and a meat station. Everything is severed by people. Everything was decent for a bbq buffet. they give you big cuts of lean or fatty brisket. To me the brisket was cut way too thick. The ribs were good and tender but not fall off the bone tender. Overall for 26 dollar with a drink it's a great deal. We only ate one plate, so it was probably better if we got one of their plates instead buffet.

Bbq was decent but nothing to rave about. Server really pressed us on ordering the most expensive dishes on the menu with no context on why. Probably wouldn't go back knowing theres better options locally.

2 Meat Combo - ribs (dry rub, and also honey glaze) and brisket (lean, fatty)

Went here while visiting family in Wichita. They brought us here, and it did NOT disappoint! Got the two meat combo with lots of options - dry rub and honey glaze on the ribs - fatty and lean options on the brisker. I couldn't decide, so wanted to try as much as I could. Got the cucumber salad and mac and cheese as well, and those were both fine. The service was pleasant and quick, and no issues with parking. Would definitely return!

The ribs with dry rub were delicious but I wished it was a little less salty. As part of the all-you-can-eat deal on Tuesdays, I was able to eat about 14 ribs right before the restaurant closed at 8. The onion rings were decent but I wish the batter was seasoned a little more. The potato salad was good.

All you can eat for only $24.99! Only available from 11:00 am till 2:00 pm so plan accordingly. I ate this as my one meal of the day and five hours later I'm still not hungry . Food here was delicious! The spicy baked beans pack a little kick, I was pleasantly surprised! I only went up twice and couldn't finish my second plate, that being said I still felt like I got my moneys worth. Ambiance is that of a sports bar...would be really nice to watch my football team the Raiders on all 20 something screens in here! When visiting Kansas one must eat bbq, this local gem did not disappoint!

I was on the flight to Wichita and talking with the last guy on the plane - he had run in about 5min after everyone else had boarded due to a late connection, huffing and puffing. Turns out, he was a native of Wichita and gave me the recommendation to eat here at B&C, and it did not disappoitn! The space is a big one, like a modern sports bar, the open kitchen in the back and great aromas but not the same as other BBQ shops were you have the BBQ slow cookers in another part of the building, etc. Parking on one side was limited, the back side shared with another building, and across you can park from 6p onward, I think. Their estimate of 25-30min for making the food - too long. I arrived after 15min and it was already ready and waiting. Brisket - mix of moist and regular, and the kid's sandwich was hearty, good mix of that and fries. Mac & cheese was very good - white cheddar, I think and mild, didn't clump up and dry when it was a little colder. The baked beans was a lovely smooth bbq and bacon, my wife called this the best she'd ever had. The pickle was perfectly crisp and dill for me - others didn't like it. The mix of ribs (fall-off-the-bone) and brisket was excellent - came with three sides. The potato salad was good (though could have used some dill). Overall excellent meal to-go, even if it was a bit more spendy ($31 for the double meat serving), totally worth it. The Texas toast slice could've used a bit more toasting, soggy but perhaps that was from the to-go trip. Not heavy on the sauce, in fact almost dry rub but still very moist on the meats. Apparently there's some version of AYCE - will have to try that next time!

KC Strip with cucumber and tomato salad along with asparagus. It was all really good!

First time here. Cool appt with high ceilings and a lot of windows, and very spacious. The service started off a little rough, but made a comeback and did well. I had the KC Strip with cucumber and tomato salad along with asparagus. It was all really good.

    Brisket mac and cheese

A must-go barbecue spot each time we're in the area. They have a barbecue buffet, which is great. Be advised, you can't eat as much as you think you can. But the true winner in my book is the brisket Mac and cheese. The service is always great and the vibe is good. It's a lot bigger than it looks, so don't let the line deter you. Worth a short wait.

Just simply a fantastic BBQ! I had lunch here, this place operates cafeteria style: you pay at the register when you walk in and you can choose what type of plate you want or you can go AYCE ($23), which I chose and would recommend because you get to try anything and everything as often as you'd like. They have a salad bar, as well as all different types of hot and cold sides. Then there's the meat! On this visit, I chose the fatty brisket (my favorite!), the honey glazed ribs, and the turkey (moist and delicious). If you love barbecue, this is your place!

On our cross-country road trip, we landed in Wichita for a pit stop in hopes to try some good barbecue and boy did we find it. The service was excellent and we had the pleasure of being taken care of by the manager on duty. The overall vibe was awesome and we learned about the history of the building and business. We ordered the burnt ends with the best dang potato salad I've ever had in my life and side of onion rings. We also got a side of brisket to compare to my husband's brisket. Everything was spectacular.

Came here on Wednesday for lunch! First off the atmosphere is great. Clean, modern style, looks like it was an old garage turned into restaurant Service was also great. Again we came for lunch so it was not busy but a young man served us and he was GREAT!! He was helpful and gave us everything in a timely manner Food: LOVED THE BBQ! I had brisket and ribs. I thought the brisket was best but it didnt mean i didnt enjoy the ribs Would definitely come back here!

From the moment I walked in, I knew I was about to experience something special. My taste buds didn't just wake up -- they rejoiced! This wasn't just a meal; it was a full-blown experience wrapped in smoke and perfection. Let's talk about the legends first. Their smoked sausage gravy and biscuits, and Texas Twinkies have wowed me before, and I'm here to testify: they absolutely did not let me down this time. The biscuits and gravy were flawless -- perfectly tender biscuits smothered in rich, savory smoked sausage gravy that tasted like it was crafted with love and a little bit of magic. Every bite was comfort food at its highest level. And the Texas Twinkies - Amazingly indescribable. Smoky, cheesy, savory masterpieces with just the right kick -- the kind of bite that makes you pause mid-conversation just to appreciate what's happening. But now... the revelation. The new pork belly cinnamon rolls with frosting. Let me just say this: talk about melting in your mouth. Sweet, smoky pork belly wrapped in a delicious blend of warm cinnamon and brown sugar. Slowly melted into a sweet and Rich caramel-like sweetness and topped with luscious frosting. It was the kind of creation that makes you question why all cinnamon rolls aren't made this way. The balance of savory and sweet was nothing short of genius. Station 8 BBQ doesn't just serve food -- they serve moments. They serve joy. They serve flavors that linger in your memory long after the plate is clean. If you haven't made the pilgrimage yet, go. Your soul (and your stomach) will thank you.

The people running the restaurant was friendly and generous enough that they gave me a free coke and smoked peanuts since I was the first one in line. As soon as the door opened, I came in and got the platter with brisket, and molasses burnt-ends. For the sides, I got the smoked mac, baked beans, and the jalapeño cornbread pudding. The inside had a retro and industrial feeling which makes sense since it's inside an old fire station. The brisket was so tender to the point that I can barely pick it up with a fork without the meat falling apart. Also, the brisket was comparable and just as good as the brisket that I had back in Texas but without the 5+ hr drive. Why go to Texas when you have this? The only downside was that it was expensive, but the food quality makes it worthwhile. Despite the heat, waiting in line for about an hour was worth it since the line was out the door by the time I was done eating. Overall, it's one of my new favorite places for BBQ and one of my favorite restaurants in Wichita and it blows even BBQ places in KC out of the water. Oh, but it might be the best place for BBQ in my home state of Kansas I've ever eaten even beating Joe's in KC. Even that, it competes with many BBQ joints in Texas. If you want the full experience, make sure to be in line by 10:15 am (by 10am or earlier depending on the day if you want to be the first in line if you want a chance to get some surprises).

Going so over the top doesn't help my old barbecue standbys: the pork was on the way to becoming jerky, the brisket was dry and the fat unrendered, and even the sausage had a casing that was too thick for my liking. The ribs, on the other hand, stood up to the smoke well, producing a caramelized crust that gave way to tender meat that came off the bone cleanly. I'm not normally a ribs guy, but it was one of the saving graces of the meal. What Sweet Willy's lacks in panache it makes up for in gusto. The menu is peppered with all sorts of non-traditional applications of barbecue, from poutine to chicken lollipops to tacos, though the most surprisingly enjoyable thing may be the burnt ends, which are tossed in a honey and garlic sauce that is not only more subtle than the KC-style sauces served with everything else, but surprisingly works well with the sugars in the meat in a way that doesn't overwhelm. There's clearly a lot of effort put into Sweet Willy's, but not a lot of confidence, no matter how many "yums" are on the menu. There's some good to be found in places you wouldn't expect, but the brisket and pork are serve as the foundation upon which the rest of the menu is built, so improving them should be the first priority.
