I went into this place not knowing what to expect and I was immediately blown away. The ambiance is incredible. All the lamps are gorgeous and the seating is comfortable. The food is amazing and the service is top tier! I will take any excuse to support a local, immigrant owned restaurant, and hands down this is a place I will frequent every visit!

Friendly people, beautiful welcoming atmosphere, and delicious food that is satisfying and hits the spot. They also have a mini ethnic market. I've been here several times now and always have a wonderful experience, making happy memories like my second date with my partner a year ago, or meeting with my parents when they first moved to town a few years ago.

I ordered a gyro not a grilled burrito gyro should have fresh cucumber, tomato, lettuce, onion, not wilted, warm nasty goo. I was very disappointed. Also ordered baba ghanoush for my side. I was given no pita or anything to dip it in had to pay extra for that and tzatziki, which should come with a gyro not impressed.

The food is just simply delicious and the portions are GENEROUS! For the price you pay (which would seem pricey) you get almost a whole days worth of food! Please let me emphasize on how fresh everything is, including the rice. This is important because I've tried places where the rice taste straight out of a box or bag? You can tell how fresh and homemade they make their stuff. The way this works is you go straight to registers where you'll find the menu on the wall. When ready to order you walk up to register, pay then sit yourself down anywhere you like. Now back to the food-We're regulars and usually get the chicken shawarma meal with rice, Greek salad and cucumber sauce. Please don't skip the cucumber sauce! It's what brings these dishes to life!! Space is gorgeous, wide open and more than plenty for large groups. Birthdays would be perfect here. I don't always feel the friendly vibes from the young man at the register. No smile, no spark, no genuine friendliness but honestly I'm here for the food. As long as the chef is doing its wonderful job, I'll continue returning, although it's nice to see the sweet friendly smile from the young lady instead

Absolutely delicious food. My husband and I split the mixed grilled meat plate with two sides, hummus and Greek salad. And baclava (sp?) for dessert. The beef was so tender and savory, great flavor on the chicken without it being dry, and beef/lamb ground together (I don't remember it's called) was also very good. Loved the baclava, too. The friendly cashier who took our order was very knowledgeable and helpful. The food came out quickly and hot. The restaurant is very clean and beautifully decorated. The bathrooms were also very nice and clean. The plate that was meant for one fed us both very nicely. If you're super hungry, though, don't share but you'll be stuffed. We will be back and definitely recommend this restaurant

This is my husband and my favorite date spot as the food is delicious and the ambiance is perfect for a conversation. The chicken shawarma plate with the baba ganoush and salad is my favorite. My kids love the gyros and the hummus and baklava are also very good. The homemade spicy pickled vegetables side are also one of my favorites. What makes this restaurant is the family that owns and works here. They are lovely and always take amazing care of us.

So glad we found and tried this Mediterranean restaurant in Tyler TX. We love Mediterranean food but very limited choices in NE TX. Beautiful decorations and very clean. Every dish we tried was delicious and their dessert choices were many! Definitely recommend trying this restaurant. They also have a market areas with lots of choices not found at typical grocery stores.

So many great reviews. I was super excited. BAD: Normally, shawarma flavor is so rich and flavorful. Unfortunately, this location's was very bland and the rice flavoring over took the meat flavoring. It tasted more like a beef fajita from a Mexican restaurant than any Shawarma flavored meat I've had before. And the portion size was less than desirable for the price. GOOD: Rice was great. Hummus was traditional and very tasty. Salad/dressing was also flavorful. BIAS: Growing up in Houston, I've been fortunate to have some really fabulous Mediterranean food. I will def come back to try this place again, because I'd like the try to a bigger salad with some gyro meat or a gyro sandwich. (True test is always in the gyros.)

This is one of the best places to eat in Tyler Texas. Great Gyros, fabulous Baba ghanoush I have had in a long time. I had the Chicken Kabob with two sides. Love this spot whenever I crave Mediterranean food with great portions at a reasonable price. It's my to-go for a quick order (10-15 min). I have tried mostly everything on the menu; my most favorite is the greek salad, hummus and gyro plate. I have never eaten inside but it looks way better inside than outside. My mom and I got a chicken kabob plate and I love how it comes with rice, pita and two sides. The garlic sauce that's added on top of the chicken is PHENOMENAL. I am a huge lover of garlic sauce. I also love the colorful, beautiful lamps hanging from the ceiling. It is also a mini mart for Lebanese and middle eastern produce! read more

Very good food, first time, i had chicken kabab and lamb kabab. Food was fresh and delicious. The only thing I was not happy with is the portion of the food. The amout is Ok, but not enught for what you are paying for. I hope they take that in consideration in the future. Overall, i highly recommend Tiba Grill. read more

Went for the first time today and I'm definitely going to be coming back! The food was so good and they were very generous with their portions. I got the chicken shawarma with fries and hummus. They include rice with their plates which is a plus because usually any where else they consider it a side. The staff was very friendly. The restaurant was very pretty inside. So delicious! I got the falafel plate and it was perfectly seasoned. Falafel is hit or miss with me, most of the time it's way too pungent for my liking. It's perfect here though. This place is absolutely FANTASTIC! My wife got the Gyro Plate, and I got the Chicken Shawarma. Both were AMAZING, but the humus should be a food group of its own. We also struck up a convo with the gentleman that happened to own the place. Very warm and personable. This is a locally owned gem that we are glad we tried. We will absolutely be back. When someone said let's go get Mediterranean in Tyler, Texas I was skeptical to say the least. But WOW, I love this place. Have been 4 times since moving here in July and it is just great each time. The shawarma is flavorful and amazing. While the wrap is good the shawarma salad is the best. For dessert I highly recommend the pistachio baklava, it's like no other. Also the little store is great too. Lots of yummy treats and ingredients you will not find anywhere else. read more

I stupidly sat near their beverage dispenser, which was as loud as the last Def Leppard concert I attended. I ordered the gyro, the Tiba way, which is supposed to have tomatoes, onions and t-sauce. The meats had good flavor, but it was lacking the condiments. Also ordered their hummus as a side, which was odd. It lacked any flavor and had some type of watery oil in the middle. The so-called pita bread was store bought and flavorless. $18 for this mediocre meal. Thankful I didn't take any pictures. One and done with this joint!

This wasn't that. 100% Will go back. I suppose if I was going to have a complaint it's that I needed more pita bread, but I got 6 pieces for another $1.

Service is fast, and they are all wearing mask and gloves. Bathrooms are sparkling clean. The not so good: they only got a big table the rest are for max 4 people, so if you have a big group you might need to seat separate. Chairs are really heavy - that's all I got!

Wow! Just wow. This family owned restaurant/ soon to be market is amazing. We stopped in for the first time and had the pleasure of meeting the manager/owner. Great people. From the friendly staff to the yummy food, this is a must try in our quiet corner of Texas. The food is absolutely outstanding. Felafel, baba ghanoush, chicken shwarma and humuus are special winners. Atmosphere is lovely also, and they seem to be doing a great takeout business. The Arab iced tea was a very pleasant surprise and I was told it was brewed with cardamom--I'm going to do that at home from now on. Our family absolutely loves this place! The food is different than our run of the mill Mexican or steak restaurant, thank goodness! The marinaded meats are tender and full of flavor and I can go on and on about their hummus! The hummus and pita bread are literally better than the high end restaurants I've been to. I've been dying for some Mediterranean food in Tyler that was affordable and delicious! My mom was in town so we decided to stop by and try out the Tiba Grill. We ordered the chicken shawerma and the mix grill with Greek salad, Baba Ghanoush, and Tahini as the sides and shared them - OH MY GOSH - it was so good! We will definitely be coming back!
