Worst massage I've ever had. The lady did not pay attention to specific areas that I mentioned in the questionnaire as well as when on the table. I like FIRM pressure on my neck and shoulders, and asked for such only to get a very brief light ski. Rub. But on my wrists, she rubbed with her knuckle while my tendons crunched!!! It was like she had her own massage in mind and was NOT going to deviate from her plan. And she had sharp nails!! Simply awful. read more

Worse ever spa experience. We scheduled a party of 4 for spa services. After arrival, I allowed my friends to go first thinking I shouldn't be too far behind. I waited 1 hr 40 min in the waiting area before I went into the sauna. The sauna was set for 30 min and automatically shut off and I sat in there another 1hr and 30 min after that. Then I was told to wait another 20 min before I can start my second service. Come to find out they did not enough staff or resources to handle a spa package for 4 people. You cannot book a party of 4 for spa treatments if you are not able to accommodate. I cancelled my other two treatments after being there already for 4 hours!!!! My friends who received other treatments said they were also subpar. Then she even charged me $30 for the use of the sauna. Horrible spa experience. Would not recommend or go here ever again. read more

I had planned a pampering day for myself. Booked myself for a massage and hair appointment. Locating this place is a little tricky but my GPS led me there. The building is quaint, the decor has a southern flair with iron back chairs in the waiting room. The valances were flowered pattern. The rooms were clean and spacious for nails and massage. The hair stations were spaced out and the washroom had about 4 sinks and 5 hair dryers. I was unable to get my massage due to early pregnancy but the massage therapist was very nice in explaining and apologizing. However, I did get my hair down. I'm African American and I have natural 4c texture hair (very kinky and dry). My stylist was Shay. She was very nice, she kept up a good conversation but didn't stop from completing my hair in a timely manner. I loved that she was gentle with natural hair, most people tend to comb natural hair roughly but she comb in sections. I got flat twists in the front and two strand twists in the back and they were very neat. Price was $55 and included a wash and condition. read more

Coming from Tampa (since I am here on temporary business)to a small town is a big shock to the system, untill you come to Tibidabo Spa. Nothing like southern hospitality at its best! I had a pedicure and a haircut/blow dry and I loved it. Place is relaxing with a friendly environment. Looking forward to returning this week for a massage!!! read more

I give this salon 0 stars! My haircut that I received was by far the worst one ever and I have come here at least 2 or 3 times. For the longest time I had been pondering over a specific style that I wanted and would back out every time but this time the hair stylist said it was time to do it and I feel she deliberately cut it shorter than the style called for in the picture. It looked NOTHING like the picture at all and my hair was getting pretty long so there was no reason for her to cut it as short as she did. It was not worth paying $40 for and I will never set foot in that place ever again! read more

My 25 yr. old daughter & I decided to do a "duo pampering" day and use a $100.00 gift certificate I had received as a gift. I made the appointment two weeks in advance for a 1 pm appointment for both of us to get mani/pedi's. Seeing the cost of $46.00 each I thought for sure it would be a great set of nails, hand massage and foot soaking. I WAS VERY WRONG! We arrived to find the place with no customers, the salon workers sitting around reading magazines and no one seemed to be "expecting" us. We were sent to a room off the side of the hair salon and seated in two of the worse pedicure & massage chairs I have ever seen. My daughters chair was broken, mine would not slide back so my legs were not comfortable down in the water. The water was cold and even after running the water for 20 minutes I just settled with the cold temp water to get it on with it. There were no variable settings on the massage chair which looked like it was a chair from the 1990's. When I asked if the back could be reclined some due to my back hurting, I was given a throw pillow to "prop" myself with. Then came time for the "nails" to be done. We had to walk to 3 separate rooms to find a bottle of nail polish, nothing was organized. Then back to the cold water & broken chair. The lady literally opened up what appeared to be a "pencil" or "tool" box and pulled out some clippers, a cuticle stick and nail buffer, None of the utensils/tools appeared to be sanitary or come out of a sterilized auto clave. Then the towels placed over our legs, that are normally warm, soft terry-cloth towels, were cold, overly used & stained dish towels!! Yes dish towels used to dry dishes, and not warm, soft salon type towels!. After the worse 30 minutes of cold water and getting our toes painted we were given the "flip flops" to wear while our nails dried. The pair my daughter was handed did not even match, one yellow & one green. (Most come out of a sealed & sterilized package) however these were not. We then were escorted into two separate, small rooms to get out fingernails done. The whole purpose of this day together was to get our "pampering" done together, to be able to talk and converse while we relaxed & was pampered TOGETHER. NOT!!! The young girl that was painting my daughters nails had to keep coming over to the lady doing my nails to borrow her bottle of base coat. Why would a nail salon/spa have just 1 bottle of base coat??? We each got our nails "painted" no acrylic nails, no tips, not even some Lee Press on nails, just painted. For $96.00 total all we got was our nails painted and cold feet. My daughter could of painted my nails like she use too do when she was 7 years old and I would of saved the $100.00 gift certificate for a better salon/spa. We both assumed for $46.00 each we would get "fake" nails not some polish applied and cold water soaking. I was not impressed from the minute we pulled into the parking lot which is an odd set up, then walking in the front door to find no business and lack of interest. My advice is GO SOMEPLACE ELSE!! read more

I recently went to Tibidabo to get a brazilian wax (been getting them for years and just moved to Georgia) and had a terrible experience. Please save yourself the trouble and find another place to get a wax at. I cannot speak for their other services, but the waxing esthetician was not experienced at all. She took over an hour and twenty minutes "waxing" and barely got anything off and was making a terrible mess.. I'm not going to get into the details -- I was just horrified. I did not say anything to her and asked her to stop because I had other things to get to that day. When asked for payment at the counter I complained and told them I would only pay $35 for their $50 service. The manager told me that for the "work" the lady had done I could not. I only paid $35 in the end and later when I got home called and, after getting a better look, said I would definitely like a full refund. The woman said she would have someone call back, but no one did. I called again and got the same excuse of how much "work" was done. PLEASE do not go to Tibidabo for a wax! read more
