I hadn't. Then they told me there was a "defect" and they needed to cancel (this was clearly untrue). I do t know why they didn't just admit to me they didn't have the watch any more - perhaps it has to do with eBay reputation. But their dishonesty cost me a lot of time and hassle that could have been avoided. I'm not out any money, just really annoyed.

A friend in watch sales recommended this place as "wholesale" (since their work comes mostly from retailers). Authorized Rolex dealers were quoting me a STARTING price of $600 for the 6-year service, so when I got a quote here for about the same amount for a watch that had stopped working, I knew it was the best deal I was going to get. Not only is my baby back on my wrist, but it looks even better than new, because I was able to request the middle links be high-polished (making it look like a newer model). Summary: Very low quality, very overpriced, terrible customer service and entitled return policies…read more We have been patronizing this shop for over a year, despite consistently lackluster products, which is painful given the expense of doing business there. 1) We are unable to return or get repaired a bracelet that simply will not clasp. 2) Objects are very overpriced for the weight and amount of precious metals in the pieces. Look at other jewelers, even high end shops, and see what you might get compared to Morais' prices. 3) The artistry does not make up for this because in our experience the clasps on two bracelets were faulty, and the leather on one was totally dried out. I have 10-15 year old leather bracelets combined with precious metals that are still soft and pliable. 4) If a recipient does not prefer an article, no returns are possible, even though the piece is unworn. 5) We would obviously like to make returns or obtain store credits at least for the dysfunctional pieces, but the shop will not accept returns of unworn items. 6) The shop's communication is lackluster and unresponsive. Take your money elsewhere.
