I don't think this is a "scam" but its important to understand its not legal council. You should be made clear that John isn't actively representing you as an attorney. I'm not even sure anyone at this office is a licensed attorney but I may be mistaken. I had a simple cell phone ticket. I paid the TicketNinja fee and John emailed me a white sheet (Probably the same one sent to all his clients) advising them to plead not guilty and fight the ticket via written declaration. The courts denied the written declaration and the next steps were to pay the ticket in full (required and ask for an in-person trial to fight it. John advised me this was the only next step. I had advised John that the fee for the ticket was not my concern, however I was concerned about the point that the ticket carries. I don't have any tickets/accidents on my record, and I am eligible for Driver Retraining to avoid any points. John advised me to go to court and fight it and that he would provide additional talking points to help me win.
