I had a ticket in a way out road on 98 for passing a truck that was spewing garbage out the back , so I passed him and in doing so went 30 mph over the speed limit , I was in a new challenger so I didnt want junk hitting the car , a trooper coming the other way turned around and ticketed me and in doing so said to me , I know you were only passing to get way from the junk but its no excuse for speeding . Yet refused to go after the truck for littering. So , I hired Frank Menendez , what a poor excuse for a lawyer , I paid him 250.00 and he assured me it would be taken care of , it was taken care of alright , after paying , I could not get any specifics , he would never answer me or let me know what was going on , Frankly it was freaking me out because I didnt know wether to appear or not, Hes an idiot that took my money . The ticket cost me 360.00 , because of him it ended up costing me 0ver 600.00 and 3 points on my license , he told me , after I finally got ahold of him after no answered emails and 5 unanswered phone calls , that it was over now and all was good , he was full a crap, So when I found out I asked him what the hell and he said oh , I am appealing the points , 4 months ago . Never happened , I still have 3 points , Dont use this guy , I dont care what the other fake reviews say, hes an idiot money scammer. So as I said He never responded to me or kept in touch with me , I have about 10 unanswered emails to date still , He never fought the case and I know that because it had extenuating circumstances , any Judge would have looked at twice , for example , the attorney should have drove certain things home like the truck spewing crap out the back causing danger and the trooper never cited him , like being way out on a road no where near anyone or the city, Like speeding only to overtake the truck and then immediately back to the speed limit , I was not a speeder per say as in just speeding , I was trying to avoid danger. There were things that should have been drilled on in court, They weren't because I called the clerk to get a transcript which was mailed to me . Months ago , they acted like everything was fine until my wife called and I found out nothing was done , nothing , then he told me the points would be appealed , as I said , I emailed and emailed to no avail or response and so to date the points remain , so I guess that was a lie too and if not I was never notified as to either way. So , now my insurance went sky high not to mention the over 600.00. And yes I know these cases have no guarantees , but there was never no appeal and as I said my case had what I thought were extenuating circumstances that were not shown. The attorney stated he would appeal at no cost to me , so what is he waiting for? It never happened just like the points appeal never happened , it was a lie and not only that but I could NOT get him to answer emails anymore , they are still unanswered , on top of all of that , he gave me the wrong citation number to pay online , good thing I kept the ticket I had to get to the right one . I had to have my wife call and make sure it was his mistake as usual. Whats really amazing is that I couldn't get him to answer emails or anything, now that I finally said the hell with it and posted a review , he wants to keep calling me , Id rather give him a taste of his own medicine to see how it feels , I would remove the review however if he made good on his appeals and then emailed me and responded as he should have , I shouldn't do it but I will to do the right thing , These are my truthful views and opinions based on the actual events that took place and Ill stick by them . Also please note : He says he offered to file again , except he told me he already did file an appeal , it never happened and thats the proof now is that he says he offered, I have those emails as well... Frank and the TicketFit Team were fantastic. 5 out of 5 stars! I got a speeding ticket that would have cost about $300, plus Traffic school. While hesitant at first, given TicketFit's rate was considerably cheaper than other traffic specialized firms, I am 100% satisfied with Frank Menendez's work. I got a DWLS in Miami-Dade days before leaving the country. Months passed before I remebered this infraction -- I had already missed two court dates. I was desperate, as these failures to appear had led to an arrest warrant, which was preventing me from obtaining an US Visa (I am not a US Citizen). Thee things i want to share. First, when i initially called Mr. Mendez to see what he might advise on the action I should persue after I got a ticket, he took the time to explain my options and answer all my questions, which were a lot and by the length of this review you might have an idea of how detailed I want my explanations to be and expect details to be given when I have a question of my own. Second, after I made my decision to ask for his service, he explained exactly what will happen and made sure I understood what the different outcomes might be. (A note here to all who think this is a %100 sure thing, if you listen to Mr. Mendez explaining all possible outcomes, you will understand that it is not a sure thing that your ticket will be dismissed, but what is sure is that he will go above and beyond for you while you enjoy the luxury of not wasting, in addition to the no points promise). Third, I told myself, in all honesty, that this review will not be any different than what it currently is no matter the outcome of the verdict on my ticket, luckily and to Mr. Mendez's hard work, it got completely dismissed. My daughter was given a ticket for improper backing in a college garage because someone passing by said that her car hit another car while she was parking. Even my daughter did not hit the car and there was no damage to the other car, however, the school campus police gave her a ticket. The owner of the car, did not make the allegation and did not contact our insurance company to make a claim. The case was solely based on a claim by a third party that was passing by. Apparently, in the state of Florida, if you are accused by anyone of a traffic crime, it is enough to get you a ticket and charged with a traffic violation. The person accusing you doesn't have to be right about their allegation, they just have to make the allegation. You in turn are faced with defending yourself against the allegation or paying a ticket and getting points on your license or attending ticket school and paying to ticket to avoid points. None of these options were acceptable to us because the allegation was false. Frank was able to get the traffic charge and ticket dropped with no license points and best of all my terrified daughter didn't have to appear in court. As a parent, it was comforting to know that my daughter, who is a college student and in another state, was represented by Frank. He was quite knowledgeable our traffic law and told us not to worry. We were recently in a car accident and my husband was doing research on attorney's to hire. Please keep in mind that this was the first time we've ever had to do this. While we appreciate the motivation of TicketFit to get started on our case as these things need to be dealt with in a timely manner, he was extremely pushy. He barely gave my husband any time to review his retainer, calling and texting up to 20 times in one day trying to get his to sign. When he called him back the next day to ask a few more questions he answered them, but not without rudely saying "I'm not sure if you remember this, but I actually answered all these questions yesterday". Even if you did, sir (which you didn't), are you not familiar with how flustered people can become during these events. Not to mention any injuries they're dealing with at the same time. The decisions made directly after these events are crucial and being rushed or made to feel any type of inferiority isn't helpful. As a business in general, you should want to make your clients feel confident and comfortable choosing you for your service or product. We did not hire TicketFit, so this review can only speak to the short communication we had in doing our research. Which I believe is the most important communication. I barely give reviews on Yelp, but Frank definitely deserves one! I received a ticket for careless driving after being involved in an accident. After deciding to find an attorney to handle my case, I went straight to Yelp and came across Franks firm. I received over $2,000 in tickets for "Right on Red" turns in Miami Gardens. Some were never mailed to me. Prior to finding Frank, I consulted with another ticket agency that said, "Don't worry. Right turns on red have been overturned in Miami Gardens, and the tickets will not have to be paid." WRONG. Additionally, my Sunpass had money on the account, but was not being charged.
