In the past 12 months I have had nothing but problems, including my pool being constantly cloudy, me having to report repairs to be done at least 5 times before someone actually comes to fix the problem. The pool guy was here yesterday apparently. My pool was dirty and cloudy. The 2 top guys came out today and took absolutely no ownership of their failings. I asked to be able to speak to the owners, so they could be made aware of my continued problems with bad service, and was told they are not available to talk to customers...!! Over the last 5 years I have sent them so many customers, because of my job: needless to say, I shall never do that again! Oh yes, and if you happen to know the owners, feel free to let them know how I feel. Shame on you, Bartlett Pools! Shame!!

We would always have to catch the pool guy when and if he came on his regular scheduled day. We had issues from consistency of service to algae filled pools, to catching an employee smoking weed in the company truck outside our home and in front of a school (cool, smoke weed at your own home or on your own time, not in a company car, during your work hours, at a clients home and definitely not across the street from a school while in session, unprofessional). When we were promised a service guy would come out on a Friday or Saturday morning to fix our green pool, nobody showed up (this was not the first time we've had issues, this was just the last straw) and we ended up going with Ty's Pool and Spa Service and Repair after having such a great experience with Ty when we called him to fix an issue with our spa months back. We got same day service with Ty and the problem was resolved within 24 hours. On top of everything else, when we were finally able to get ahold of Bartletts Pool Service to cancel, he said that he would be billing us regardless, was upset, and unprofessional. I'm sad that a local business that has been in service in our small community for so long has ended up being such a disaster. You'll find similar reviews on google, as well as here on yelp, so sad.

Fast forward to today, I reached out because some guy came to service our pool (only knew because I'm home with a sick kid). The owner called me and said we'd been receiving service the whole time (news to us) and he'd like to start over. Then he made it clear he only meets clients before 3 pm through the week, and that it seemed like this wouldn't work. With all of the issues created by lack of communication on the businesses part, all we wanted was to meet face to face for a few minutes to set things up right. At that point, it was clear he didn't want our business. I'm shocked by all of this because the company gets great reviews, but they definitely aren't hurting for clients and their customer service is lackluster at best. We felt like just a number on a page from day 1. Definitely don't recommend this company. It's expensive compared to others and not worth the money based on what we experienced. We ended up having to do all kinds of service and troubleshooting in our own because the tech wasn't doing their job apparently anyways.
