Most of the things I asked for were not done and things I put on the Do Not Do list were done. Not worth my money. I wanted to have the house clean and tidy before my father in laws arrival but to come home to a not clean house where I had to follow behind her and clean my own toilets and sinks makes me extremely frustrated. Extremely frustrated as this is my first time using Tidy and our cleaner was terrible. He was very rude as well as left dirt all over the floor. I wasn't home when he left but I came back and a frame was off my wall in my bedroom and he didn't say anything to my boyfriend about it, who was there when he was cleaning. I paid $149 for 4 hours - Tidy XL. I had a VACANT 1200 square foot house. I needed a full clean for my final tenant walk-through. I let the cleaner in, stayed at the house with her for about 30-minutes, during which time I found her cleaning my sink with paper towels and daily shower spray... I was shocked! I offered her cleaning products and a sponge. She said she would "use those later." I had to leave and told her I would be back later, I gave her a key to lock up. When I returned I was shocked. The house was filthy! And she opened windows and left them open. I was slightly worried that she was planning to come back... But the house was vacant, so I imagine it was just a mistake. If you want a nonchalant, unprofessional housekeeper contact tidy, the company's brochures, site, and app make you feel like you are about to get the best house cleaning services you have ever had in your entire life, but don't be fooled. The housekeeper showed up 9 mins late but gave us those 9 mins. However, she took her sweet time to do everything; my mother had to cross off so many things from the to-do list so she could finish the majority of the house (didn't happen). When my mom asked her why she wasn't able to finish on time, she said because my mom asked her to focus on details which is not true given that my mother removed many things from the list. Also, she "cleaned" very poorly. It seemed like she barely exerted any effort It honestly felt like the lady has never cleaned before. She would clean an area and leave it unfinished to clean another area and then go back to the unfinished area. After her visit, on the site, she marked that she cleaned areas that she didn't even clean. If I could leave zero stars, I would. I paid $250 for their most detailed cleaning for my rental home at move-out, so my husband and I wouldn't have to clean and could focus on moving into our new home. They did not even touch large areas of the house, and items they did allegedly clean (oven, windowsills, cabinets) were untouched and obviously not cleaned. I paid for 2.5 hour cleaning and specifically asked that the kitchen, bathrooms (2) and floors were done well. I said anytime he has left could be used on the bedrooms. My previous cleaners would be done with the whole house in 2 hours, so I thought that'd be plenty of time. He did not sweep, nor vacuum; just mopped the floors. The stove top and backsplash are still dirty from us cooking this am. The stainless steel appliances have streaks on them. Crumbs on the counter. The first time we used Tidy it was great. We did a 2.5 hour cleaning for our 1700 square foot single story home. The second time was just AWFUL. We booked the same cleaning. Tidy says satisfaction guaranteed but that's total bull. The second cleaner very clearly came to our home and did nothing. Then she had the audacity to ask for more time, which we would have had to pay for. We came home to a dirty house. Like, the same mess that was there when we left was still there. And this is in areas the cleaner said she cleaned. Toilets were dirty. Toothpaste in the sink. Floors dirty. Horrible experience. The cleaning lady confirmed that I wanted everything on the list. The services on the list were not provided. Surfaces were visibly dusty, wipe marks on mirrors, corners of floor not swept, and debris on floor not removed. She was even seen just pouring fabuloso on our floors. We were horrified. Parts of floors and toilet were wet. We were also requested to pay her parking ticket. She could have parked on the other side of the street, but did not read the signs. This whole app is a SCAM. The first time I booked they tried to hit me with a $50 "same day" fee when I had booked the night before. The charge for this fee was not represented when I booked the appointment and I was not notified in any way that this fee would be applied. It was a total surprise when I was charged for the visit. After MANY emails of me trying to reason with them and plead with them to provide reasonable customer service, they agreed to credit me $50 to my account. Fast forward several months...I go to book a cleaning and I can see my credit...When I book the cleaning the credit is not applied...I inquire as to why the credit was not utilized and they give me some BS about how it had to be used within 3 months of when it was issued... two problems with that....I SAW the credit still in my account when I booked my appointment...and even if this was their "rule" they should've notified me of it when I was originally credited! I booked 2 "pros" for 4 hours which was supposed to be a "deep clean of a large home". Only one pro showed up and I'm honestly not sure what she did for 4 hours. She spent an hour and a half in the entry "cleaning" despite me having told her that my partner steamed cleaned the area just 2 days prior. My kitchen counters were somewhat clean but there were puddles of water all over the floor and the floor did not appear to have been mopped. The bathroom was also not well cleaned and she only got around to 1 of them. My living room was also full of dust bunnies. I have guests coming so I had to clean the place myself for an extra 2 hours and I honestly got more done in those 2 hours than she did in 4. Save your money. Don't use this service. read more

So my expectations were that those items would have been accomplished. Instead they charge you and then tell you all of the things that they were unable to accomplish so in reality it would be way more expensive. COMPLETE SCAM! Please please please read the reviews before booking. I did not read them and I'm paying for it now. First of all the "Pro" was a 20 year old kid who didn't bring half of the needed supplies to do the job. I caught him scrolling through his phone multiple times while hiding in the bathroom. He did manage to clean the floors, but I had to go back and reclean the coffee table, TV stand, bath tubs, and re-vacuum my bedroom. He also use a PUMICE STONE he found in my roommate's bathroom to try and scrub aluminum saucer pans from the stove top. He did not bother to read the extensive list of what to clean that TIDY asks for your to create. I paid over $200 for a "deep cleaning" of a small home over four hours and got at best a half-assed surface cleaning that was incomplete as I had to actually finish some of the work. He also mostly "cleaned" by spraying water on things and calling it good. I emailed TIDY to complain and request a refund, but they wanted me to add a negative review for the cleaner (which according to other posts they can argue back and know exactly who wrote it (not safe when they know where you live)). They negative review apparently gets you money back based on the "amount of protection purchased" which was a) never an option presented to me and b) a complete joke to purchase protection for a cleaning backed by a company?? They also apparently only offer you a small credit for your next clean with them "if the first solution is not enough." AVOID AT ALL COSTS! read more

Knowing cancellations are common, I used the "concierge" service 2 days before the cleaning, to confirm her appt. Our cleaning was CONFIRMED by the concierge, 2 days before. The DAY OF, the cleaning was cancelled, and showed that our home was suddenly "outside of Candelaria's" service area. Why allow me to book her? Did she suddenly change her service area, the day of our cleaning? With a toddler, and full time job, this RUINED the next 48 hours for me - having to clean my home at night, after putting my toddler down. JUST AWFUL. I WOULD NEVER recommend Tidy to anyone. She bought a small Lululemon bag filled with a few cleaning supplies and 2 towels (no vacuum, no mop). I couldn't believe she was so unprepared. Or maybe she was expecting to use my supplies? She barely cleaned my main rooms and didn't even touch the showers and toilets. Still I gave TIDY another try thinking it was just that house keeper. HUGE MISTAKE. Since then, the company has cancelled my cleanings just 30 minutes prior to the cleaning THREE TIMES for the reason "housekeeper no longer services the area." I made these appointments weeks in advance. How in in the world could they not know this information in advance? Yet they had no problem charging my credit card to reserve the time and keeping the money. I wrote to the company to explain how much of an inconvenience this was causing me as I planned my day to be home when the house keeper arrived. I also planned other work appointments around it. Our cleaning lady was 20 minutes late. She didn't have a vacuum which I message Tidy about earlier. We got ours working just enough. The lady was nice but clearly didn't like her job. She looked lost and not invested in the duties. In 2.5 hours she managed to clean the kitchen. Not inside the oven or even microwave, but counters and stainless steel appliances. She started talking about running out of time before finishing the kitchen. After that she did the kitchen floors and living room floors. I literally walked around trying to see what took so much time. It really only seems that there was about 40 minutes worth of work done. Our usual cleaning lady was too busy to book for the holidays. In that same amount of time she dusts every room finishes the floors cleaned all the windows and scrubs our shower. We only have a 1600 square foot house. I hate complaining, I really do. But this was really a bummer for us as Christmas Eve is tomorrow and there was no way for us to reschedule. I'm in a weird position where I don't want her to lose her job but she should clearly not be doing what she is doing. This just left me really frustrated.
