Daniel and his team came out to clean my house on a last minute notice. They were fast and thorough and overall did a great job.

- [ ] Called this Company out for a quote on 6/9 for our industrial unit. Daniel answered and stated he'd be there for a quote within 30min. This is where I should've known the problems were going to start. After about 45 minutes he called back and said that he had to set up his guy at another job site and would come my way afterwards, of course I said this was fine as I was at the unit with the electrician anyway. About an hour later he finally shows up and take a look at the unit and let us know how he will proceed with a quote, stating he had to punch it into a system and it would give him numbers at that point. By 3 PM that day I received a quote for $2700 to clean our 1600 square-foot unit. We asked if there was any discounts available and we agreed on $2400 at that point. Again another red flag is when he attempted to ask for half of the money down (which per the state of California they can only ask for 10% down) so he obliged when I reminded him of the state law and took the $240 deposit. Mind you my husband and I run a plumbing company so I know exactly how other contractors work or how they are supposed to be ran. Work was to be started 6/15 and be completed by 6/18. On 6/15 I met Daniel at the unit to handover the keys so that it would be more convenient for them not to have to wait for me to open up the unit and close it, that way they had full access to whatever they needed to get in and out. He stated they would be spending any word from 8 to 12 hours in the unit per day. This was far from the truth! The first day they were they are probably a total of 4 hours and when he says "crew" it was only him and one other person. Then he noticed that the ladder that was there for the electrician was gone and was irritated and made a side comment "now I'm going to waste my gas to go home and get my ladder". This should have been a red flag number 2. The next day 6/16 the camera system was supposed to be installed and I made him aware that they would be working around each other. This is where it gets extremely bad. Daniel met us at the unit at 7:30 AM so that the electrician could get in, as soon as we got the electrician all set up my husband and I left so that they could get done whatever they needed to. This is where the situation got even worse. We are now the second day in and nothing has gotten done and they literally only had two bucket shop vacs, a leaf blower and no cleaning supplies. Then come to find out from the other tenants that they were only spending about one hour every time they were at the unit and would disappear for 5 to 6 hours at a time. They also reported that Daniel and his employee were constantly in the parking lot smoking marijuana!!!! Highly unprofessional! At this point my husband and I return to the unit in the evening to you pay the camera installer I noticed that the unit is in worse condition than when we left it! Cobwebs still up in the skylights, dust & trash everywhere and none of the rooms had been touched the 2 days they were there! I asked Daniel to be back at the unit in one hour as the camera installer was wrapping up and we had no keys to the unit. After an hour and a half he still did not show up and when I called him to see where he was he stated that the camera installer told him to come back at 4 PM earlier that morning, he then proceeded to ask him why he disregarded my request of being there within an hour and his answer was the same even though he stated when I texted him that he would be there within the hour. After the much frustration I then proceeded to ask him if the work was going to be completed on time as nothing had been done and they only had one more day to work in the unit. He then handed the keys over to my husband and stated that " your wife is coming at me sideways and you need to talk to her about how she speaks to people". I'm sorry if a job is not done and you are messing around and smoking weed in the parking lot I am sure that is grounds for a complaint! So he handed the keys over and says they will not be cleaning the unit anymore and leaves all the trash behind! I then proceeded to ask for my deposit back as nothing was done and there were several witnesses to attest to it. He refused to refund me my deposit of course, should have known that was coming. Needless to say honestly I felt like this was a scam! They take your deposit and then refused to do the work so they don't feel they need to give you a deposit back. Please refer to their yelp review also where they burned another customer for $250. No doubt I will be reporting them to every unit I can! Don't get scammed by this company! They will take your money and leave their trash behind! read more

I needed a cleaning service ASAP. The house was going into the market and we moved out of the state already. I called Daniel and he was very helpful and heard the stress on my voice. He went to the house really quick, gave me a quote. Him and his team did an amazing job. They were professional, communication is open and was efficient. He didn't finish the job well. There was a film left over everything that he touched and he didn't touch everything, like the cabinet handles. He was supposed to clean the entire stove however he didn't finish wiping the top of it, and there were crumbs all over the bottom of the oven. He clearly had not cleaned the entire refrigerator out. He didn't wipe the shelves in the doors. I paid him $50 extra to both clean the windows and wash the walls. He set that price. I told him that he could wet Swiffer the walls, but there were still cobwebs everywhere, so he couldn't have done anything but the very center of the walls, and I think it was with a dry Swiffer. I let him off the hook for the windows earlier in the day stating if he didn't have enough time I wouldn't worry about the windows, but, I wanted everything having to do with the windows cleaned. He didn't touch the blinds. I confirmed with two other companies that wiping down blinds are a normal part of a move out clean included the $250 quoted price. I think he was just tired and did the very best to do the very least that he felt he could get away with. Frankly, I would like that extra $50 back! When he called us over and said he was finished, it was night. My daughter expressed that she was not pleased. Daniel said that he would come back another day to make things right so I took him up on it. Again I allowed him to pick the date and time, working within the timeframe that I had. He said I'll be there Thursday morning the same time as our last appointment. Our last appointment was 7 a.m. on New Year's Day. I said okay I'll see you then. I got up at 6:30 in the morning to be ready for his 7 a.m. arrival. I texted him at 6:35am, "Good morning, my friend. Are you running on time? I'm just gauging going over there." I did not hear back. I texted him again at 7:02am, "Let me know when you get here. I'm ready, I'm just waiting inside because it's cold.". I did not hear back. I texted him again at 7:21am, "I decided after I sent you that last text to go over to the other place in case you have left your phone at home on accident. You haven't responded to either one of my texts and I'm wondering if you're still coming out today. Please let me know." At 7:31am I got a call. He told me that it would take him an hour to get to my place but that he first had to wait for the bank to open because he had to pay rent today. When I told him I got up at 6:30 a.m. because I was expecting him here at 7 a.m., he had the audacity to say that he told me and he gave me no specific time, but that it would just be sometime in the morning that he was coming over. I corrected him and reminded him that it was quite a definite time. His response was that I needed to understand that he had a life and had other things to do. At this point regardless of what I said, he talked over the top of me in an attempt to argue me into accepting his excuses. He was aggressive in this. Ultimately, I just hung up on him and send him the following text. "I am very upset with you. When we spoke on the phone you told me that you would be here the same time as last time, which was 7 a.m. I'm already unhappy that you have to come back a second time at all. I paid you extra to clean the place. Everyone that goes in their comments on what a terrible job was done. You didn't do your job right. I've given you lots of Grace, and I've let everyone know how dirty it was to begin with, so they are not too critical of you, but after your outrageous unprofessionalism today I will no longer make excuses for you. Rather, I will Yelp you and post pictures of the filth you left behind that I paid you extra to clean. Please do not contact me again." And, "I remember that I found you on Thumbtack. I will let them know about this situation. With pictures." He called be back right away. I took the call, but he just wanted a confrontation. I just hung up again and when he called me back another time and I did not answer, he sent the following text (his typos not mine), "All I ask is that your honest post all before and after pics because I have them and remember you and your daughter did approve of it" Then, "Now I'm still willing to comeback the ball is in your court". My response, "We were not happy that day. Rachael [my daughter] pointed out several things we were unhappy about to you. That's why you offered to come back in the first place. You've demonstrated gross unprofessionalism. I've already told you how unhappy I am with your work, and I paid you extra for work you didn't do, and after your rude (and frankly aggressive) behavior on the phone, I've asked you not to contact me further, yet you continue to call and text me. I'll let you work out for yourself whether or not I've changed my mind about having you come back. I've already told you no. You had your chance to rectify this and you blew it." Tidy Ways has been cleaning my home for a couple of months now. This company does a amazing job. They are extremely detailed in the way they clean. I get such a great feeling after a long day I come home to a cleaned home. I have Tidy Ways clean weekly because they are so great at what they do. Not impressed.... Buyer Beware! Missed a lot of high dust (refrigerator, shelves, mantle) only spent an hour upstairs. Then, left for a 1.5 hours to go shopping. After returning, they finished the down stairs. I gave a $30.00 deposit, which I was told would be refunded after paying the $245.00 quoted price and submitting a review on their website.
