Obviously deep cleaning is just the first time, but the second time, standard stuff like dusting was missed in a lot of locations. When you book a service and pay well over $400 you expect the basics to get done. What is worse, the people checked on their check list it was done. The last time was just before I hosted a baby shower and I am so angry about how awful that cleaning was. My formal living room was not vacuumed at all, my sunroom was vacuumed half ass, there was dirt in the corners where they should haven taken out a vacuum wand. Places weren't dusted again and it felt like my floors weren't even mopped. I had to set up for a baby shower, cook for it then I had to clean myself when I paid MaidPro. Without her there, our service steadily declined to the point that we terminated the relationship. After complaining about poor service a couple of months ago, the times provided by her team and days we were supposed to have scheduled cleaning began to change. Further, the service got worse each subsequent visit. It wasn't "all the way bad" but little things were being ignored. Further, she began to send messages that her team would be later and later each visit and then they would rush to be done to get out of the home before it got too late in the evening. Finally, we were bumped from our regular day and were asked if the team could switch from Wed days to a Friday night at the end of a day. Of course we said "no" and the final visit was back to Wed. The final visit was a catastrophe. The "girls" Came in at 3:05 and left at 4:30pm. The pictures of this rushed service are those that are attached. This came from one visit - the very last one. It was like an Easter Egg Hunt but instead of looking for eggs, we began looking for areas that weren't cleaned and/or dusted. We discovered numerous incidents where her team didn't bother to move anything - There are many more pictures we didn't submit. Of course, Gaby will respond to this review that she offered to come back and fix what her team didn't do but we had by then told her we simply wanted a refund and didn't want anyone from her "team" to come back into our house as we literally felt violated and "stolen from". (We had already "Venmo'd" payment on our way home (before seeing the job) and the job was beyond horrible). It was so bad we just couldn't stomach allowing her in our home again. The oddest thing happened during our text exchange (see attached photo) where Gaby stated that the abysmal service "wasn't her fault". That also incensed us - whose fault is it? We asked for a refund because she did not provide the service we paid her for. To date, she has yet to provide the same so we are forced to write this poor review. Recommendations: 1. Don't pay her with Venmo as you cannot dispute the charges once paid even if the service is poor. (This is important because she will text you to say "girls are done" and expect payment immediately and likely before you ever see her work. 2. Insist on Gaby checking her team's work before you pay. Or insist she performs the work. 3. Insist on getting your service performed early in the day - the team was horrible at the end of the day. 4. Don't sign up for weekly or bi-weekly service. It seems to me she makes more money off the initial cleaning jobs and does much better to get your business than to keep it.

Most services I found outsourced the cleaning, where they would take half the fee and then only pay the cleaners a small amount. I wanted to find someone local and where the money went to their entire team. I was up front that I didn't want her discussing money or what would be included because I knew that would stress out my mother in law and also she would feel bad if she wanted more services and thought they cost extra. Lucy asked to come stop by the house to assess it first which I thought was reasonable so she could quote it accurately. From there it went downhill. First of all she was late. Which is fine in itself but when you are dealing with the elderly they prefer people to be on time because they literally plan their entire day around a visit. 15 min late became 30 min late... and to me that's not acceptable. You should be on time. It's a matter of respect. Secondly she made comments to my mother in law about every aspect of her house and made her feel bad, it gave the impression that everything was dirty. She asked oh do you want to add blinds, that will be extra. Do you want to add the oven, that will be extra. It made my mother in law uneasy and I asked her not to discuss these specifics for this extra reason and to just give me line items of what each thing would be additionally so I could make the best decision for us. Lastly she told my mother in law it would take 8+ hours to clean her 1100 square foot house and that she had to take all the items off all her counters. She is elderly and that was just too much for her. I felt Lucy should have listened to me and discussed all these things with me, the person that would be paying and hiring her, not with my mother in law. Had that happens I could have explained it to her in a nicer way. What happened instead is my mother in law was offended, felt I was getting ripped off because she felt the time quote was too long, and she felt nickel and dimed with all the extras and overwhelmed with the task of having to clear her countertops.

They did a solid job on the floors and bathrooms, which were noticeably clean, so I know the capability is there. That said, for a $600 "deep clean", I expected a similar result for all areas cleaned. Additionally, their staff arrived 2 hours late with less staff than promised, and their crew visibly looked and performed exhausted (likely from working a full 8 hour shift before arriving). Several areas were clearly missed (basic surface dusting, blind stains I paid extra for, basic wall/door spot cleaning I paid extra for) and I ended up having to clean behind them, which is pretty frustrating when you're paying a premium price. I'd encourage the team to be more thorough on future visits and do a final walkthrough before wrapping up. Right now, the price doesn't match the result.
