Imagine these losses occurring 7 times and trying to pick yourself up from the guilt and pain over and over again. It can be hard for even the strongest woman. Insert Megan (after my 5th loss). Megan, Megan. Through the hardest and most challenging times in my life (and now the best), both physically and emotionally, Megan has been there to support me. Right when she walks into the room, I feel like I am about to start my therapy session from outside in. And, as I lay down for treatment, an incredible calmness washes over me. No matter how crazy, terrible, or even great my day has been, the times I spend on her table are always where I find the most peace. She just has that 'thing' that puts you at ease and heals you. This review is limited specifically to our experience with Beth, PT. Unfortunately, she was the worst therapist we have ever trusted with our child. Instead of physically engaging with him and focusing on the purpose of the session, she spent much of the appointment providing unsolicited, pessimistic medical opinions that she is unqualified to provide (and more importantly without compassion). These comments were made in front of our child, who can understand more than people may realize. We found this deeply inappropriate, discouraging, and outside the proper scope of a physical therapy session. Very little meaningful physical therapy took place because so much of the session was devoted to negative and medically unsupported commentary. We were shocked by the lack of hands-on engagement, professionalism, and sensitivity shown toward a young child and his family. In contrast, we are very happy with Caitlin, PT. She physically engages our child throughout the session, treats him with kindness and compassion, and helps him work toward improvement with positive energy and encouragement. We appreciate her professionalism and therapeutic approach. We were hesitant to leave this review, but we believe it is important to share our experience so that management addresses the issue and other families do not go through something similar.
