This is simply the best practice range in the area, and the best one I have ever come across anywhere. They also have a top rated highly experienced club fitter, and a great staff of teaching pros. The bucket price has gone up but the facilities are top notch, there are way more parts of your game you can practice here than any ither facility I have been to. They do have monthly and yearly memberships that make it pretty economical if you use the facility a lot.

For anyone who loves the game of golf, playing Sugar Tree is a MUST. We went in May and the conditions were pristine. The greens were decently fast and very true. Having not played the course before, we had zero course knowledge. It was very tough, but very fun. Each hole was an adventure. Literally. Most holes you couldn't see the flag bc of severe dog legs or major elevation changes. Accurate tee shots were more necessary than most courses. You had to get creative with your 2nd-3rd shots if you didn't hit a good one. Holes 5, 11, and 12 were probably my favorite. If you get a hold of your drive on 5 you can take full advantage of the huge downslope. Needless to say I hit a 349 yard drive! Unfortunately I bogied :( gotta work on that short game! The course was wide open and for $40, I will most definitely be making another trip out to Lipan, TX!

They do take cash or card which is convenient. The line is never long, really non existent most of the time. Parking is a breeze especially if you get there for open swim which begins at 12 noon. The majority of the lounge chairs are shaded and you don't have to worry about anyone taking/moving your belongings as you enjoy the water. The lazy river is extremely clean and well kept and the floaties are in abundance and FREE! Everyone is respectful in the pool! At any given time there can be newborn babies to the seniors and every age in between so being courteous is just as important as having fun! The music is great too! They play EVERYTHING including Spanish songs on Cedar Hill Tunes. There is one lazy river, one slide which is so much fun and never a long line, as well as a larger pool that is wheelchair assessable too. It was in this pool that my BF taught me to swim this Summer so the Cedar Hill Lagoon will forever be memorable to me! They also have about 7 cabanas that you can rent out for your private event. The bathrooms have great air flow and are pretty well kept with no trash on the ground an I definitely appreciated the cleanliness. They also have showers too. The lifeguards are also professional and they appear to have fun too. There is food available if you get hungry. A CH police officer does make his/her round at the pool too so it definitely makes you feel safe an at ease. I hope the Lagoon continues to be a fun, clean, memorable place for my future summers!

I tried to be understanding of what they can't control, and move past the lack of kindness from any workers, however throughout my stay here, it only got harder for me. After driving hours, and spending money on gas and groceries, we couldn't just go home. The second we get to the cabin, I spot the lifeless roaches EVERYWHERE. After cleaning up, I noticed the dishes all have food on them and were clearly not properly cleaned. So we again had to clean each dish. The bedroom door was broken off the hinges and wouldn't close, giving us no privacy whatsoever. The tv didn't work at all. Now onto the actual lake. We were rightfully angry and disappointed that we travelled to stay in a lake cabin, and we weren't warned about the sewage leak, however we tried to make the best out of it and enjoy the view and the nature. This mindset lasted a good 2 seconds before we saw the amount of trash. The piles of trash hidden behind trees and the cans and plastic on the shore was astonishing. The final nail in the coffin was coming back to our cabin to find the walls and ceiling COVERED in tiny bugs that seemed to be coming from the sink drain. We proceeded to try to get rid of them, and brush them off the wall and kill them, however they kept multiplying. We packed up and left immediately after this. The service we received, the price we payed, and the lack of communication we experienced was unacceptable. I don't recommend staying here.

To Whom It May Concern,…read more I am writing to formally express my deep frustration and disappointment regarding an incident that occurred during my recent visit to your golf course. I have always believed that a golf course should uphold a standard of respect, professionalism, and fairness for all players on the course. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. During our round, my group was playing at a pace consistent with the groups ahead and behind us. At one point, the course became backed up, and as a result, we were bunched up with the group in front of us while another group was also closely behind. This is a normal occurrence on a busy day, and something that should be handled with understanding and fairness. However, an older staff member approached our group in a manner that was unnecessarily confrontational and, frankly, disrespectful. Rather than assessing the situation as a whole, he chose to single out our group, speaking to us in a tone that felt accusatory and dismissive. What makes this especially frustrating is that the group behind us was equally bunched up, yet no attention or correction was directed toward them. Being singled out in this way, despite clearly not being the root of the issue, was both unfair and embarrassing. We were doing our best to maintain pace, and there was nowhere for us to go due to the congestion ahead. Instead of being treated with basic courtesy and understanding, we were spoken to as if we were the problem. I want to be clear: I have no issue with course management ensuring pace of play. That is understandable and expected. What I do take issue with is the lack of professionalism, the selective enforcement, and the disrespectful tone used toward us. There is a right way and a wrong way to address customers, and this situation was handled the wrong way. I hope this feedback is taken seriously. No paying customer should feel disrespected or unfairly targeted while simply trying to enjoy a round of golf. I would appreciate it if this matter were addressed internally so that future guests do not have a similar experience. Sincerely, Kash

No more playing demolition derby, no more t-boning or ramming each other, and in a nutshell, no more shenanigans on this track. No sir indeed, those good old days are gone! Be that as it may, it's still only $8.00 a race with no helmets required! Therefore, this track still stands as THE BEST Go-Kart Track of ALL-TIME in my opinion. ALL-TIME!

Review for the Disc Golf Course…read more I love this place. I only started playing disc golf recently because it's a more fun, less frustrating, and free-to-play alternative to ball golf. There's a lot of things I can say about this course, but I want to start out with the unfortunate cons first. Trash. There's a lot of it right around hole 5, then again from hole 10 on out. One of these days I'm going to bring some giant heavy duty trash bags and one of those grabber claw things so I can tidy up some of the holes. I already love this sport, and I think taking care of the course should be normal for all players. Same as in ball golf, if you take care of the course, the course takes care of you, right? Turner is memorable and challenging, but I think it's a fair place to practice. You will be exposed to a lot of different types of shots and looks, and I find new challenges every time I play there. Turner definitely favors players with more power on some holes. Especially the last one. For me, since I'm still very much a beginner, I see the longer holes as just more opportunities to practice! There's usually two porto-potties right by the practice basket before the first tee box. I don't think there's any public facilities along the course, which this place could definitely use, especially with how long it is. Perhaps that's something that can be pitched to the city some day. Bring lots of water on hot days because it's a really good hike. The distance and terrain aren't too bad though. I walked the entire course with my 4-year-old about a month ago and he only needed to be carried on the very last two holes. Overall, highly recommend. This is my go-to practice course, because the water hazards at Fritz keep eating my discs.

The main feature of the park is a huge skate park area and I'm sorry that I don't really know the terms for the equipment but there is a decent amount of things to roll down, slide across and skate through. The entire park has a chain link fence around it to keep the little ones from wandering off and so you can see strangers approaching. Always a good thing.
