The building itself is kept immaculately clean and the staff have always been uber friendly and professional. I originally purchased a Living Social (think Groupon) deal over a year ago for laser hair removal. I found out shortly after that I was pregnant and was unable to use the voucher. The laser technician, Jillian, offered for me to return after I had my baby and advised that they would extend the expiry date. Since having my baby 9 months ago, I have come for 2 session, with Jillian, who has been an absolute pleasure. I was definitely a little nervous, to say the least, that I may be treated differently because of my voucher but that has not been the case. They have free parking spaces in the back (so don't pay at a meter on 124th street) and a basket of sandals to slip on when you come through the door. You will walk through the Chiropractic area filled with modern items like stability balls and a trampoline. The decor is gorgeous and quite tranquil! The owner, Dr. Greg Stiles, is a chiropractor and I have run into him several times - and is he is as charming as he is handsome. I have overhead him working with patients and he has an amazingly calm and gentle demeanour. Even Jillian, the laser technician I see, has only had wonderful things to say about working for him. In fact, when I consider chiropractic treatments in the future I will start with Mr. Stiles! I also appreciate that they sell items that are health conscious - nail polishes free of dbp, formaldehyde and toluene. The also carry the Juice Plus line of greens and fruits that is supported by Dr. William Sears (www.askdrsears.com) - MY FAVORITE go to doctor and website for all things natural and parenting! They carry a few of his books here and I also was able to check out one of his DVDs to borrow for free! Upon arrival, I am always offered complimentary tea (and they have quite a selection) or chilled water. They have apples and snacks in their tranquil seating area that also boasts a fireplace. I uploaded a few pics - so check them out! I've also picked up some goodies from their clearance bin for my toddler (nail polish free of all that junk I mentioned above) and some high end make up items for myself. The spa is in a convenient West End location that was easy enough for me to get to from SW. During all 3 of my visits, the staff were so warm and welcoming. The spa is clean & quiet, and the treatment room is very relaxing. I had a different aesthetician for each of my facials, and they all did a good job. They were able to answer any questions I had about the eminence products used, and customized my facial according to whether or not I was going out after or going home (ie. redness, shine, etc.). Elysian has an easy online booking system through their website, and I notice they have promotions on their Facebook page so you should check that out. Overall, I would definitely recommend Elysian and I'll be returning!

I wasn't sure what I wanted and she choose really natural and beautiful lashes for me. It took about 90 minutes, and the bed was so comfortable and the room was nice and warm. She was so gentle I actually fell asleep for most of it. They gave me a little info sheet on care, and they use a mist that glues the lashes down right away so you don't have to worry about them falling out. Overall I'm super happy with the experience and I'll definitely be back!

Unfortunately the esthetician and owner, Kim, was sick that day but had missed contacting me to let me know she couldn't be there. She felt bad for not letting me know and offered to reschedule my appointment free of charge. I went for my waxing appointment yesterday and it was great! Kim was very personable and made the experience very pleasant (as pleasant as waxing can be) and did a very good job. I would definitely recommend this place and it's services. Thanks ladies!
