Like other reviews, I can agree that there is a weird vibe/energy coming from the sales associates at this location. I get it because they're on commission and I respect their hustle, but you can feel eyes burning into you from start to finish. Kind of intimidating, and had to omit a star because it did make coming in kind of uncomfortable, but a stark contrast to the lovely service we received from September, who cleaned my sister's jewelry, and was warm and welcoming. She was very informed on the company's rich history and current product releases and art, which was very intriguing for me as an art lover. Tiffany & Co. is one of the most prettiest stores in the mall. With all different types of jewelry to wear from necklaces, rings and bracelets. If you never stepped foot into this place because you thought the price was expensive, some things really are pretty reasonable! You'd be pretty surprise to find items costing a few hundred dollars for a piece of jewelry that looks quite stunning. Also if you do have a suggest price point for any type of jewelry that you would like, just ask the attendants and they will give plenty of helpful suggestions. Recently came in this store because the Beverly Hills locations did not have the item and it was going to the Orange County location. The necklace is quite pretty with rose gold heart and a smaller heart that is black. Two hearts make it symbolic for me and very special as a gift. I'm so happy with this purchase and my other previous gifts that I have gotten from here. The worst customer service possible from a "high end" jeweler. Save your money and go elsewhere. On Sunday, August 18, 2024, my girlfriend and I made an appointment for 1:30pm to look for engagement rings. We were both excited and looking forward to our first time shopping for wedding rings together. We were hoping that the employees would help guide us towards the right direction. However, our ambitions were turned down by an employee of the store. The employee who helped us was a tall Chinese man who was already judging us when we walked in. He was the only tall Asian male employee at the store at the time. We told him we had an appointment at 1:30 to which he replied, "for what?" After explaining we were here to look for engagement rings, he finally walked us to the back and said "these are engagement rings" and didn't explain more. When we asked for specific settings, he said "they're all the same, nothing different", even though it was clear that some bands were thicker than others with different designs. It seemed like he didn't want to help us and wanted us to leave because he kept mentioning how they do not have many rings available. Also, my girlfriend thought she was a size 6, but the rings she tried on at the store seemed to fit a little looser than expected, and she wanted to see what her true size was so she asked if she can try to find her size, to which he replied, "you tried these rings and they're all size 6, so you're a size 6" instead of helping her find the perfect size. After we left the store, we went to South Coast Jewelers across the street and we found out after trying other sizes that she is in fact not a size 6, but a smaller size. The employee at Tiffany did not want to let her try the different ring sizes either because he was too lazy and not doing his job or he was already judging us from the beginning because we were young. We could see other employees treating other customers with much more respect and service, allowing them to be seated at the tables and personally bringing the rings to them and asking them for their preferences and background stories of how they met and their futures. However, this employee did not even ask what we were looking for and said all of the rings are available to try. When my girlfriend would ask specific questions about the different rings they had on display, he would reply by saying "it doesn't matter, it all depends on what you want". This employee left a bad taste in our mouths and ruined our first time experience of shopping for a wedding ring. Save your money from this overpriced, outdated company and go across the street from the mall where they will show you what actual customer service is like with much better prices. I'm glad the staff did not pass too much judgment. Although I could see some glares, I get how an excited kid with a new toy could make a luxury retailer's staff a little uneasy, I digress. M. Tran was my SA & she was amazing. She greeted me and my family with a very welcoming smile and a tone that was excited to assist me (even though there were about 3 other associates that looked at me and didn't speak as I walked by before getting to her... but HEY, maybe they were already busy). The customer service at Tiffany's is always top notch. I recently went to get one of my necklaces repaired and the whole process from start to finish was seamless. I received a call about about 1.5 weeks later and once again the pick up process was seamless. I would suggest going during the week, unless you are willing to wait in alpine during the weekend. The good: In the past, when I purchased things for my daughters, the service was good, that's why this isn't one star. The bad: I have an older Tiffany's necklace that needed cleaning. Went in, everything went well, it came out sparkling. A day later, it looked terribly tarnished so I contacted customer service who asked the store to call me. Though I missed that call, the voicemail seemed reasonable. So, I went back in and explained the issue, to ask what else could be done and to have it cleaned again. The lady who did the cleaning had such a negative attitude: 1. "Well, I can't guarantee it's not going to tarnish again" (a single day has passed since it had been cleaned, and it was obviously tarnished) 2. "It's just silver, and that's what happens with silver" 3. "You can buy silver polish at home, you know." 4. "You could use a polishing cloth and take care of this yourself." 5. "Maybe it's reacting with your skin?" The tone throughout was just so rude -- I felt insulted and condescended to in five different ways. I wanted to choose a bracelet with the same double band that they liked while choosing me the gift, so I picked out a few I wanted to see. She was also telling me how some bracelets are meant to be worn tighter so the face doesn't flip. I never noticed it until now O_O' I ended up choosing a bracelet with an infinity sign in the middle, but they didn't have it in my size so she kindly ordered it for me :) Less than a week later my bracelet arrived. Had a good experience here on Saturday with Marcia, our consultant, when my fiancé took me to purchase jewelry for our wedding. She approached us as soon as we walked up to the counter and was patient in showing us all the pieces we requested. She worked with us to place an order and explained clearly what the delivery process is. Thank you for your great customer service! I was a little off-put by the tissue that the consultants have to unwrap the jewelry out of when showing different sizes. The wrapping looks like old Kleenex and you have to learn to be patient while they unwrap and rewrap items. You cannot be in a rush when wanting to shop for a few different pieces. Overall the layout of this store is beautiful and easy to navigate. It's located on the first floor of the South Coast Plaza and has its own entrance externally and internally to the mall. read more

We went to Tiffany's to exchange a gift. When we entered, we immediately told the security guard why we were there since we didn't have a receipt and didn't want them to think we were walking around with their jewelry without paying for it. The security was very cordial and helped us flag down a sales staff, which was really nice. When we were first greeted by the sales staff, she came off a bit standoffish and curt. We told her we didn't have a receipt and knew that if we give the name of the person who bought the gift, she could easily track it down for an exchange. I think that's just Tiffany's policy. After looking at a few things, we could tell her demeanor changed dramatically. To me, it seemed like once she knew that we could potentially spend some amount of money, she became overly friendly, and when we did finally find what we wanted to exchange, she gave us extra gifts receipts, Tiffany bags, and note cards, without even asking for it. Overall, the experience wasn't bad, but I'm giving the low marks are for the initial bad attitude of the sales staff who only became nice once she saw that we were there to spend, which just made the experience less pleasant and not a place I'd go again. read more

If i could give 0 stars, i would. I only went in because I needed to get a bracelet adjusted, but the girl that helped me process the drop off was not friendly at all. Fantastic start to my visit. Since we were already there, I wanted to get my friend's birthday present & have her try on a couple different things to see what she liked. Hah nope, no one even looked at us as we walked around the entire store. Literally as we were about to leave, a woman called to us from the other side of the room asking if we needed help. That's definitely not how you speak to customers but okay. We told her no & stuck around to see if anyone else would actually help us. Another woman came by & asked if we needed anything so i forced my friend to try some rings on. She looked at us as if she was extremely bored & didn't really answer any of the questions we asked her but was kinder toward the end. I eventually bought my friend a ring she fell in love with. She tried on a couple sizes & eventually decided to take the 8 since it obviously fit better. We left tiffany only to get home & realize she had been given the wrong size. The ring was also extremely tarnished inside. I literally paid almost $300 for a used ring that was the wrong size! What a great birthday present!!!! Obviously tiffany & co needs to train their employees to be kinder & give them an attitude check. I understand that it's a luxurious store & they really want to help out those that look as if they have tons of money, but they really should pay attention to everyone equally. During our visit there were 6 employees on the floor, practically doing nothing. 3 were huddled in a group, talking to one another when they could've been helping us out. My review is specifically for engagement ring/wedding ring shopping. I wasn't there for the engagement ring shopping part, but my fiance and I went to look at their selection of wedding rings. The associate that helped both times was Arthur (Art) Fernandez. He was so delightful and helpful! He was very knowledgeable about the rings, never made us feel rushed, and helped us find the perfect rings. I prefer my jewelry on the daintier side and none of the rings in the display case were really catching my eye. Somehow, he managed to find me a band that was exactly what I was looking for. He is truly a gem (pun intended)! From the reviews, it seems like the customer service here is a hit or miss, but in this case, it was a total hit! I have 30 pieces of Tiffany & Co. jewelry, I think you'd call that a loyal customer! I went Into the nearest Costa Mesa location to have 22 pieces cleaned, I called in advance to make sure they do free cleaning or confirm the cost, I was never told on the phone that they have a new policy & will only clean 5 pieces per visit. I don't live around the corner so In order to have my other 17 items cleaned I'll have to make 4 other separate visits. All they continued to say was it's our new policy @ our new location. I walked in 2 days ago to exchange a piece my boyfriend bought me for Christmas. Last week we came in to exchange another piece as well but I forgot to bring the 2nd piece with me. I got store credit last week and was able to have one of my other pieces lengthened in the meantime and dealt with very lovely people. They were all kind and very helpful. Maybe because I was dressed differently. I don't know. I can't remember the rep that was helping me the first time but I do remember Ridie because I brought an old piece back to lengthen and she was the cutest and sweetest little thing! Very helpful in deciding what size I need to go, gave me tips on cleaning my jewelry since Tiffany's is a bit of a drive for me and made me laugh when she caught my boyfriend asleep on their couch. Lol just adores her. This time I walked in after running errands to bring the piece I wanted to exchange and was sent to Maryam. Let me just say..the second I walked up she just stared me up and down. Zero personality, rude, unkind and from what I can see very very judge-mental! Her tone from the very beginning was condescending but I kept my cool till I felt like she is treating me poorly based on the fact that she didn't think I have money to purchase items. I brought a receipt with all three items that were purchased and she says nope, this is not the receipt for the item you brought in. Yours has a diamond and is more expensive than what the receipt says. I'm looking at her In disbelief and very confused because my boyfriend purchased these as a gift. She tells me do you have anything similar and brought this one by mistake. Lol ..I said I have a lot of Tiffany jewelry (a ton I actually haven't even worn). I love dainty pieces and usually stick to one everyday piece that I don't take off. So she begins to antagonize me as if though I stole this piece or tells me they must have undercharged me. Then after all her badgering and antagonizing, she says ohhhhh, this IS the receipt. Our prices just went up. Your piece is now $400. She was wrong about that too. My piece with the small heart was actually $375 with the price increase (they have a bigger heart one for $400) Every time she brought a piece out for me to try she was staring at me like a HAWK. I felt so uncomfortable. I just said I'm not sure what you are trying to say right now but I'm not enjoying this experience. I wanted to just leave and come back when my other piece was ready for pick up so I ask her to confirm that I can bring it back by the 31st of January even though it was bought on the 22nd of December. I remembered being told the last time it was January 31st because of the holidays (they made exceptions and extended it) she continues to argue that no, I have till the 22nd because I bought it on the 22nd of December. I said but you guys make exceptions don't you because of the holidays. Finally I had it. I asked to speak to her manager and as I'm looking in the mirror with a beaded piece I was considering choosing, she says I need the necklace back. I said I'm still looking at it. She yells at me..literally yells at me in this store to give back the necklace. I was mortified that anyone would treat someone in this manner especially at a tiffany store. I was in yoga pants, a t-shirt and a camo zip up with my hair down and this person treated my like some criminal. They have these head prices to call anyone over they want so I don't understand why she needed the necklace back as she could stay with me until the manager came. Finally I just walked over to someone else and asked for the manager. Kelly came and from the get go she was warm, gracious and understanding. I asked to speak to her privately and she took me into a private room. She handled the situation very well and brought the pieces I was considering into the room and also confirmed that I was correct that I have till the 31st to bring back my items. I can see why kelly was the manager. She was non-judgmental, she listened and validated me in how I felt. I bought the beaded necklace right then and there because I had such a great experience with Kelly and did not want to come back dealing with nonsense again. Kelly said she's usually nice but sometimes people don't leave reviews or bring bad behavior up to a manager as I didn't plan to so hopefully this will bring it to their attention should it happen again because nobody should be treated like that. Unfortunately, after this experience, I will just purchase items from a different jeweler. I can have pieces made for me with the same quality. My clunky bracelet that I bought years ago repeatedly falls off because they didn't put a good clasp on it to begin with so I hardly wear it so maybe the quality isn't that great to begin with after all. Well a little blue box definitely comes to mind! We came into Tiffany's on a busy Saturday about a month and a half before graduation. I had done a TON of research and we had a whole list of necklaces and bracelets that we wanted to see. We were looking for something classic, that could be worn every day, and with only that quality that comes with Tiffany & Co. The store itself was a little bit insane and we got behind this red velvet rope to join a fairly long line. They were serving lemonade and there were trays going around with brownie bites and Madeline cookies...now that is a way to distract from waiting; hand me a cookie or a puppy and I'll wait all day! When it was our turn, we were introduced to this lovely women that would be helping us. We showed her our list and we got to work. As it turned out the piece we ended up going with was in a different room, so she introduced us to someone else that could help us look at that. To make a long story short, the customer service was flawless and while the gift we chose was a little higher than our budget, we knew we got a quality piece that would stand the test of time! The new boutique is gorgeous and very well-lit as well as organized in a much more welcoming manner than the previous location. I walked in, no line at all and was immediately helped by an associate! Walked out with my pendant in less than 10 minutes. Also, new location isn't too far from the old one, still on first floor just across from the golden goose boutique. I am a Tiffany & Co. girl! My husband and I celebrated 16 years of marriage last month and continue the tradition of purchasing something new for each year. We have shopped at this store, Las Vegas, SF, Las Vegas Caesars and the list goes on. This anniversary shopping experience started out disappointing as we stood over the counter for several moments before being acknowledged . Once acknowledged we made our selection and walked over to customer service to drop off several pieces to be cleaned and get my new charm added to my bracelet. The wait was very long, the representatives lacked personality and seemed bothered when I needed to add another piece of jewelry to my order. Today I returned to pickup my pieces and there was a line out of the customer service area, there was one person taking care of a client and the women waiting shared that they had been there awhile with no one acknowledging them....wow I thought not again. Some one from the sales floor finally came over to ask if we were in line to drop off or pick up. Since I was there to pickup, I stepped out of line to receive my items. The rep was quick to bring the cleaned pieces and show me my brand new charm (which I love) however, she brought them to me with out a box or bag -- REALLY? One of the reasons girls love Tiffany & Co is the blue box. Because I live in LA County I will continue to come to this store but wish that the Company would invest in customer service and make every customer feel important and taken care of no matter if they are in to get a piece of jewelry cleaned or buying a new expensive item. read more

As a Tiffany customer for so many years I went to this particular store in South Coast Plaza on 10/12/2024 I felt very disappointed with the Tiffany Store Team. I arrived at the store and no one would assist me, they would only approach certain types of customers. As I keep browsing around for over 15 minutes a Team member approached me and ask me if I needed help, I said I was looking for a purse she told me to go the side by the cafe and the purses are there. This particular Team member did not engage with me or ask me any questions just let me go by myself to the other side and walked away. As I went to the side where the purses were located again No one was there to assist me. I walked around the store again to see if anyone would assist me and no one did. I spoke with one of the Security team members and asked him what I had to do to get some help here and he said that it looked like they were all busy and I let him know it seems like they only help certain types of customers only. After me making that comment to him, he spoke with someone over his communication system and another security team member arrived. Minutes later a Sales Team Member arrived, I expressed my frustration to her that I felt disappointed with the Sales Team only approaching certain types of customers. I let her know that I have been a long time customer of Tiffany's and I felt disappointment by the way they treat certain types of customers. She apologized and tried to assist me as best she could. I have never felt this disappointed with Tiffany's lack of diversity to assisting customers. read more
