8/25/26-8/26/26 8/25/26 I received a call from Sean…read moreinforming my elongated cushion ran into a snag when replacing. The stone itself was much taller and needed height adjustment. This would need gold to supplement. Fortunately, I had a ring resized two sizes down so had some extra gold material that he used for a trade in. Then they were able to add some height for the new stone. 8/26/26 I checked in with Sean to see if the ring was ready. He informed me he was not in the store today but the rings should be ready to pick up. I called the store to confirm it was ready for pick up. When I received my rings, I was simply over the moon. My missing stone from my eternity band had been replaced. Looked like its old self again. My cushion was now resized so now I can wear it without falling off. Last but not least, my problem child elongated cushion stone replacement- it is absolutely beautiful with the new stone. I could see a shadow on one side where the added height was and the inner ring lining is now polished vs before it was matte. I'm not going to be too picky about this one due to them having to work on a ring that I had custom made in India. The fix is not Going to be perfect. Different techniques for revisions etc. skill will be different than the original designer. Overall, I am satisfied with my experience here. I feel confident in returning in the future for my jewelry repair needs.

I placed my order understanding it would arrive within 3-4 weeks. When that window passed with no update, I reached out through their online system -- no response. I then sent a text and was told my ring was still being made. I waited two more weeks, and still received no shipping notification or FedEx tracking. I called the store directly for a follow-up, only to be told they had never actually made my ring. They offered a return and a gift as a resolution. I waited for the refund -- and again, no communication. No email, no confirmation, no follow-up. The refund eventually came through, but only after I had to chase it down myself. After more than a month of waiting, repeated follow-ups, and zero proactive communication, I was left with no ring and a very poor impression of how online customers are treated. In-store customers may have a different experience, but as an online buyer, I felt completely overlooked at every step of this process. I hope this feedback helps improve communication and order tracking for future customers.

Andy was kind enough to spend some time thoroughly explaining and showing the differences between diamonds to us. The following weekend we returned with the ring and also met Pam which both of them showed us how the ring would look with different cuts, clarity and color. They worked with our budget and presented beautiful options to us. My absolute favorite thing about working with Pam was that rather than pushing me to go bigger since most woman tend to want to upgrade later, she really understood that I just simply like more simple and danity things. They really helped us narrow down the type we would want and they both learned our taste fairly quickly. From there on out, this was our go to shop. Andy has also assisted us in creating custom pieces of jewerly including necklace pendents and my husband's custom wedding band to match the design of my enegagment ring. They have been so patience with us and has always delivered on their end . We even let both our parents tag along with us and to my surprised my mother in-law, mother and father had purchased jewelry from them as well. As time progressed and our wedding date got closer, my husband purchased my wedding band here including the dowry (in my culture the dowry is bride's gift present from teh ro). Pam knew exactly what my taste was based on our previous encounters along with the pieces I would admire which made the process of completing the dowry set much easier on my husband. Their shop does not typically carry many pieces of 24k gold since its not the most popular item to sell but at the resquest can bring in absolutely beautifully stunning pieaces. I had shown them the type of jewerly I would like that would fulfill the dowry and they definitly delivered. They worked with my husband picking out pieces that matched the idea of what I would love. They are very helpful, knowledgable and really take the time to help you find what you want. We have grown so close to the both of them during this journey that they literally feel like family to us. We still keep in touch til this day. I have recommened them to all my family and friends. This will forever be my go to shop.

I have waited for over 3 months to write this review to calm down enough to make this Yelp review a readable one. I have to say that I have never received such poor treatment in my life. The owner was on the phone as I walked up screaming at someone on the other line. I should have known there and then to head for the hills. I wanted to buy a necklace for my daughters graduation. A simple ruby pendant with a gold necklace. His prices were so outrageous and he kept explaining how gold prices have been so high. I questioned him about the cost being so high for such a small amount of gold...wrong thing to do. He berated me and treated me in such a manner that I was literally floored. He was an egomaniac and told me to go to any other jeweler in the jewelry mart where he works if I thought I could find a better deal. Well guess what? I did. I bought something nicer with better style and workmanship at a slightly lower cost. Simply put, he is overpriced and has no people skills. A truly horrible experience. There are many other jewelers in this building that want and deserve your business. Go elsewhere. read more

Fehmi, a specialist in fine jewelry has amazing taste and offers great advice when selecting fine jewelry plus great pieces, he help me with my 10th anniversary ring. My engagement was not the only purchase from Arik Jewelry II, I got my husbands 2 chain, his wedding ring, my heart diamond pendant, 10th anniversary ring & today Fehmi knew I was looking to get my husband a diamond wedding band so he pulled out this perfect ring he just knows what our taste in jewelry are. Everyone took so much time with me to answer all of my questions. Judy even helped me understand my diamonds under the microscope, explaining their facets, inclusions, wear, etc. On this occasion (my first with Mark Patterson, but I will be back), I had a pair of diamond studs reset. I called no less than 8 jewelers across Northern and Southern California. Jewelers that in the past my family has used for repairs and jewelers who are the defacto choices for many in their respective communities. I called Mark Patterson on a whim expecting the quote to be prohibitively expensive given how beautiful and varied his portfolio is. Mark Patterson had the most competitive quote for a superior quality of work, hand casting a completely custom design instead of simply ordering a ready-made setting (as others would do). Because I called so many jewelers and got to know their processes, I can confidently say that Mark Patterson offers a better value for your money than most. Another way that Mark beat the competition was that I was quoted two weeks (and I got the earrings back in a little bit under one and a half weeks!) instead of six to twelve weeks. Having his own workshop right in the store means that he is not outsourcing anything, and therefore, his turnaround is quick. In addition, it matters to me that my jewelry is handmade by skilled craftspeople. When shopping, the workshop is right next to the gorgeous displays. You see jewelry being made as you shop. The quality of my earrings is unmatched. I chose a 6 prong, faux bezel setting that is complex. The work is simply beautiful and exceeds my expectations in every way. The earrings are light in my ears and so comfortable; while being secure, classic, and most importantly to me, so special. Picking them up, Mark came out to make sure I loved them (oh my gosh, do I) - and even offered my dog a homemade treat from his wife, Josette. I have already referred my mother to come to Mark Patterson to reset her earrings. And now, she wants my exact setting! I have historically shopped with established global luxury brands for jewelry because it felt easier to take out the guesswork of quality and customer service. This was my first experience designing a custom piece and I am WOWed! I had the best experience, and will be coming back for future pieces. I feel like I have found my 'family jeweler.' I stopped by the shop today to ask if there was anything they could do--whether that meant repairing it or offering a small discount toward a replacement. Nothing was offered, and the interaction I had (I believe with May Martin's mother) felt dismissive and uncomfortable. I was told the necklaces looked tarnished and was lectured about how to care for them. In reality, they had been sitting in a drawer for a year or two because I wasn't sure what to do after the chain broke. I understand that things can break and that policies vary, but customer service matters. Even a simple apology or a small gesture--like a repair option or a 5-10% discount--would have gone a long way toward creating a better experience. Unfortunately, the interaction left me with a bad impression, and I don't plan to return. I'd recommend looking for higher-quality pieces elsewhere.
