My wife loves Brighton. I bought her first Brighton purse probably 20 years ago from the Mission Viejo location and created a monster. This location is much smaller but still manages to fit everything in. Every staff member is extremely friendly and helpful. Per my wife's review we've been coming here for 16 years. For bored husbands like me they're quick to provide chilled water and usually have cookies. Smart to keep us distracted while wife shops. I bought my wife some Apple Watch accessories for this Christmas which they wrapped beautifully for me. Men, they have fantastic high quality Made in USA mens belts. They're tucked away in the back corner. I've been wearing their belts for 20 years and they're excellent. Besides sells you can bring all your Brighton products for cleaning and repair. After the warranty period it's not too pricey and they'll get it looking good as new. read more

I purchased a cleaner for $16.00 and it turned moldy. I wanted credit towards the new cleaner (cloth) but I was refused their service. My friend bought me 4 bracelets with charms. I was told that this required their liquid cleaner only. The lady who seemed like the manager was rude and had no time for me. She was not willing to budge. This is not customer service. read more

Amazing Customer service! I was greeted the moment I arrived and Debbie helped me find exactly what I was looking for. Her expertise, kindness and attentiveness really made my trip special. Many times I rather buy online than go into the store, but this time my experience has made me rethink online shopping. You will be missing out on the great customer service and help offered here. They even offer you coffee or water. I declined but she send me home with a bottle of water for the road anyway. =) Best place to buy a charm bracelet. They have a great selection and the prices are fair, charm bracelets can get pretty pricey. She put the bracelet in a special box, whited out the price and also gave me a gift bag with tissue. I am very pleased to have experienced Brighton Collectibles in Newport Beach thanks to Linda Sutphin. I was interested in the Woodstock bracelets and noticed while looking online that not all were in stock at each location. Because I was in the area, I called this location and had the pleasure of dealing with Linda who was friendly, informative, and easy going. Her wonderful demeanor had me go right in and as soon as I walked in the door, I was greeted by Linda herself. Just like on the phone, she was friendly, efficient, fun, and conversational. She let me know of deals I could get and ways I could upgrade in a wonderful way that did not make me feel sold to at all. I am a casual woman and never know what I will experience when I go into a designer store. Linda made me feel right at home. Offered me and my husband something to drink, showed me what I was interested, offered me additional information and provided me with a free gift along with my purchase. Went there to get my mom a few Mother's Day presents and as I walked in I was greeted by Linda. I showed her a few pics of stuff I was interested in and she showed me items that were still available and great replacements for the ones that weren't. She wrapped everything so beautifully. My mom was so happy with all her gifts. A week later I received a hand written card in the mail from her. I was blown away. What a personal and wonderful touch. Brighton is not my style but having received a gift from here I came in for an exchange. The customer service is superior. This particular store has a huge selection and is well laid out. It is busy, busy, busy. I did see some items that would be good as gifts and the items were well made. I am not a fan of hearts on my items but I saw some neat jewelry items and belts. They have wallets, handbags, shoes and numerous accessory items. Cute store but a bit disappointed that when shopping you felt watched. This is not a high end store with extremely expensive items but I sense they must have people who steal because the items are plentiful and small. I cannot walk past this store without going into it and I have 7 purses, just about all the jewelry and sun glasses to prove it. I love the look of the leather mixed with the beautiful heart collections and baubles. I was in the Mission Viejo when they had their 5 year anniversary and they happened to draw my name for the purse giveaway...I was hooked! I remember after having my Amy large Doctors bag (all the purses are names after women and come with a heck of a warranty) for about 5 years, I needed a repair to some of the stitching. I took it into this store, they shipped it to the corp office, fixed the purse, polished the leather and sent it back to me like new for free! These purses are so well made, I still have purses that I have had for years here and they still look fresh and new. You pay a little for it but it is pure quality and well made. My Letter to the Corporate Company below: (What an awful experience I had with an associate by the name of Debbie, Also I don't know if this return policy she gave was correct, but if it is I will NEVER shop there again) Hello I had an issue with an associate by the name of Debbie at your Newport Beach store. I tried returning a pair of pumps that were unfortunately to large. Her first response to me when she opened the box was "I don't carry this shoe at this store and I am unable to return them." She told me she would call into customer service and confirm this was correct. I was very surprised by this return policy, having shopped at Brighton for many years I have never had an issue prior to this. As I was waiting for I noticed a shoe exactly as mine just a different color. So in fact it looked like they had the collection, but not that color. She came back to me with my shoes in a different box and gave me two 800 numbers and told me call them. I asked her why she was unwilling to return/exchange/Store Credit on these shoes and her answer was that of her original answer "I don't carry this shoe at this store and I am unable to return them." As you can imagine I left there upset. I then came home and called the numbers she gave. As you know there is not anyone available on the weekends. I was always think of the store as the frontline for customer service I think I miscalculated that with your Associate Debbie. I called her back letter her know no one was available and she admitted to knowing that no one was going to be available until Monday. And yet again she didn't offer to help me with my return. A couple things I find ironic is that your option in your drop down menu is called "Easy Returns". The second find I thought ironic is returned home not thinking about this at the time, but I am wearing Brighton Sunglasses, Earrings and I of course have my house key on a Brighton key chain. You are about to lose a frequent customer because of a very disrespectful and rude associate by the name of Debbie I met today. I hope this can be resolved. Please let me know when you make contact with the store and I can have my shoes returned. Thank You read more

Although this is a nice store and I have been there a few times in the past with no problems (hence the 3 stars and not less), I was very taken back when I was there this weekend. There weren't many people in the store at the time I went and I got a great greeting until I started to really look at the jewelry and try on some pieces to see if I really liked them. This woman who worked there was hoovering over me and watching me within 1 foot from me non stop. It made me feel really uncomfortable to say the least, I walked away to see if she would leave me alone, then went back to the area that I was going to purchase a few bracelets I liked and bam right back on my tail. Needless to say I was really bummed and walked out of there with nothing in my hand cause I was VERY uncomfortable. I will now probably order online or at another store due to my experience here. Maybe it was just the wrong day to go in there :( read more
