I brought my mother for a wig. She found one she liked but said she wanted to think about it. They tried to pressure her into buying it before we left. After we left she decided she wanted it so I called and paid for it. We went and picked it up the next day and they switched it out with a lower quality wig that looked almost the same. There are thousands of wigs on Amazon for $20-30. Do yourself a favor and order a bunch from there. Try them on and keep what you like and return the rest. I know they don't pay more than $5-10 per wig that they're selling for $500-600 read more

There isn't much variety, I felt I was being talked into a wig, the only style she suggested to me, that would have had to be cut down to a topper. Honestly, with it on my head, I looked like Sophia from the Golden Girls tv show. The hair was curly (mine is straight) and terribly dense and heavy. Yes, I have salt and pepper hair, and didn't want to go with a brown wig and certainly not a brown topper, obviously. For the price (if I'm recalling correctly, just short of $500) for a wig that I didn't like, in a style I didn't like, in the only style that was salt/pepper and/or grey, and would have to be cut down to a topper that I had no clue what it would look like when done, I just could not pull the trigger. read more

Definitely not black people friendly store. The wigs there looks like trash anyway. The lady, I believe is the owner didn't even acknowledge me. I touched one of the wigs and the hair felt so hard. What woman, black or white would want to wear hair like that? I pass that store on rt 17 almost every day and it is always empty. Don't waste your time stopping by, the hair is very poor quality. Phyllis did the impossible by getting my sick mother a wig right before her son's engagement party. She made sure that my mom would look and feel beautiful during this special occasion, and she did not disappoint! There was tons of back and forth that she handled all on her own! I purchased a Human Hair wig which cost me $1200.00. I had the wig less than a year and it turned out to be a mess. There were 2 huge knots that formed in it and the knots were so tight it did not fit. I was assured that it was 100% human hair. I took it to other wig stores and a few other salons that deal with wigs and I was told it's absolutely not human hair it's a blend of human and synthetic. I brought it back they COULD NOT BE BOTHERED TO GIVE ME THE TIME OF DAY. All I was told is that there's nothing they could do because it was almost a year since I purchased it. It's human hair. I was very upset and aggravated they just didn't care. I would never purchase another wig or recommend anyone go to purchase from them. read more

I would give this place zero stars, the service was terrible the blonde lady behind the desk did not want to help at all. I hope she's the owner because she is not selling anything w that attitude, she made me feel so uncomfortable. Il never step foot in that place again, I understand I don't have cancer and I'm not going through cemo but that doesn't mean I can get a wig, don't judge me on my age (22) either I work very hard and make a lot of money. Maybe that's why she was so rude ? Because she thought I couldn't afford it? She also made a comment about how black people don't shop at her store and how they stay in Paterson for their wigs because they're "cheaper over there." This is why the world is so fucked ! people like her. Just be nice you're literally getting paid too, don't be rude to a potential customer I'm better off going into nyc paying double the price then this place but getting amazing service. I don't not recommend this place to anyone especially a person going through cemo, you wanna stay away from negative people like that lady when you're going through a treatment that is near death. Honestly I feel sorry for that lady and I will pray for her. My mother died of cancer and even on her death bed she still had more hope, positivity, & optimism then that lady does in her whole life. I found this store when my mother in law began chemotherapy treatments and started to lose her hair. She had long gray hair and wanted it copied (I'm not sure why because it wasn't an attractive look). The women at the store listened to what mom said and helped us to see that shoulder length would be a better option. We left the store and mom was still unsure, that was until she went out for the first time with her new hair. This was the first time since I have known her that she had ever been complimented on her hair. I know I couldn't have done it with out the sales lady and mom looks great. I'm not sure if she will ever go back to her own hair. I can't thank her enough! read more

On the way out the friend who came with me and I chatted a minute with Phyllis. We learned she too had gone through chemotherapy a number of years ago. I would not recommend Tiffany WIgs to any woman who is in the middle of an emotional state, going thru any kind of treatment or chemo and needs a place that is compassionate and understanding. I went to Tiffany Wigs after undergoing chemo for a month, having already lost most of my hair. Needless to say I was in an emotional state. The salespeople were very pushy and "everything" looked great on me. Needless to say, I could not see anything looking good but knew certain things were just awful. Being desperate I did buy something, but was so unsure even as I paid for it, I knew it did not look anything like my look and did not make me any more confident in my situation. Only 3 days later I called them to ask If I could return it, I just looked awful and knew I would never wear it, the tags were still on it. I had tried it on for 2 friends and they told me it looked terrible, concurring with my feelings. THey knew I could do so much better. Tiffany Wigs told me they had a no return policy, regardless of NEVER having been worn, tags WERE STILL ON IT, and it was less then a few days since I purchased it. They still had no compassion, no understanding and still said NO. THis wig was over $900 , which I could ill afford and now still had to go out to buy another one I would wear. Tiffany WIgs should not be in the business where women are at their lowest breaking point, where they cannot be taken advantage of at their weakest state. I have found 2 other places that I go to that I LOVE, that they are kind, considerate and compassionate. I would NEVER recommend anyone to go to Tiffany Wigs, ever!!! read more
