Tiffany's is a magnificent salon and spa located in a quiet section of Barrington, RI. Everything about Tiffany's exudes a dedication to the customer and the experience offered to each. All staff greet you with a smile and seemingly go out of their way to make each and every service a special and personalized one. Anything, no matter how quick, involved, or expensive is treated with a professionalism and excellence I imagine would be difficult to match or exceed at other locations. I experienced a full package day here. . . 1.5 hour Massage, Ultimate Facial 1.5 hours, Manicure, Spa Pedicure, Shampoo & Blowdry, as well as Makeup Application. The icing on the cake? All free :) My mother and I won a spa package back on Mother's Day of last year through a radio station. Finally. . . we got around to using it. The prices listed in their brochure seem up to par (and something I will definitely be paying in the future as I will certainly be returning to indulge.) This being the first time I experienced any of these services (excluding the hair and makeup portions of the day) each staff member was quick to explain everything that would occur. It made me much more comfortable knowing what to expect. The spa services are located upstairs from the salon itself, away from the noise and excitement that comes with a new hairstyle. Each room, dimly lit and filled with the sounds of soothing music and crashing waves, made for an extremely relaxing and enjoyable environment. My favorite services by far were the Ultimate Facial and the Spa Pedicure. While the "extraction" portion of the facial is not something I'd soon look forward to again, the end result was something I'd pay for in a second. My face looked and felt so refreshed by the end, I couldn't believe it was my own! The Spa Pedicure was equally as relaxing. . . and who doesn't like a foot rub? With our scheduled time at the spa being 9am-4:30pm (holy crap!), we were able to order lunch from a catering service and were served plates of food during the pedicure. Yum :) Two staff members in particular made our day special, Amy and Sofia. They were with us a majority of the day, were very easy to get along with, and were as excited as we were about having a whole day at the spa. Seek them out for hair and nails!. . . and facials! Tiffany's is a beautiful salon & spa located in a lovely section of Barrington in an adorably remodeled old house. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted, given a tour and shown to my seat - actually, a whole private room - where I had my mop reshaped into a flirty, flattering shag. V and Ray worked as a duo discussing each move and expertly snipping away at my angular bob. They talked about the shape of my face, my cheekbones, the line of my brow, how I let my hair dry and what products I use (or am willing to use) before deciding on the perfect cut for my look and lifestyle. You see, I want a new 'do - and not just any 'do. I'm in the process of growing out my extremely thick, curly and unruly hair and needed to have someone create a shape other than triangle for this awkward stage. V and Ray did just that, and I know that with every inch it grows, is will get more and more lovely. Hair cuts run $40 and up, if you were wondering. Very competitive with other salons int he PVD area. In addition to being a fabulous hair salon, Tiffany's offers spa services such as massage, waxing, facials and nails. My haircut at Tiffany's Men's salon was a truly enjoyable experience. The stress relieving scalp, neck and shoulder massage was a very nice touch. The barber, Luke, was pleasant, conversational and very skilled at his trade. He finished off my haircut with the straight razor to get it looking real crisp and neat. I am so impressed with this salon. Erica did my hair color. I needed to go from a very golden - and turning brassy - blonde (done in San Francisco for $300, uhg) back to my natural neutral light brown/dark blonde color. I got my hair cut and it wasn't even! some parts were to my shoulders and some were and inch lower! then the next week i go back to get partial highlights... they do a crappy FULL HEAD(not what i wanted) ($150+) highlight job and missed my roots, and left the toner on for too long so now my whole head is grey! the lady then said that it would 100% wash out in one wash... i washed my hair a few hours ago TWICE and it's still silver! i used my moms pretty, light blonde hair as an example and i got SILVER!!! never going back again read more

Ashley cuts and styles my entire family's hair - Husband, two sons and myself. I recommend her to anyone and everyone. We effectively sit in her chair and tell her to do what she thinks would look best. And we all walk out feeling great about our look. She has a wide range of quality work from funky to classic to children to men. My husband used to go to whatever place was cheap and available to get his hair done; often going to different places each time. He is so happy he started going to Ashley saying, "I get a great cut every single time. No stress about coming home and having to wear a hat for a few days anymore.". ;) All the staff is also fantastic and accommodating. Friendly and positive and always good with conversation, whether you want to sit and listen or vent and share. Griffin always greets you with a large smile and knows everyone's name. Recently went to Tiffany's for Men and boy was I impressed! Staff was very friendly and very accommodating! The energy and service was amazing ! I didn't have an appointment, however by luck I Came in at the right time and they were able to accommodate me ! I really appreciated that they didn't make me feel unwanted or too busy to try to see if they could work something out ! I had a young women that was newer to Tiffany's men , however you never would have known! I later found out she was very qualified with years of experience! and I have to say it is probably one of the best hair cuts Iv ever had !! I've been to this salon at least 3 times with 3 different stylists ranging from newbie to experienced and it just never works. I have coarse, curly, long hair and they cut it like its straight hair. Consultation was too long and my concerns were not listened to. The only thing I liked was the Moroccan oil products I can purchase from the salon. But I think they are way over prices. The first time I went, it was an ok cut. I wasn't excited about the cut, but it was fine. I went back a few weeks later just to get my bangs trimmed and holy hell, never again. I was so disappointed when I got home and noticed them in the light. I could have saved the money and let my child cut them. The staff were all friendly and accommodating, but they were also overpriced for the quality cut. I'd be afraid to go back again, and wouldn't recommend them. read more

I've been going to Tiffany's for several years, but they've really gone downhill. I've tried 3 different stylists. In the past year, I've gone in asking for lots of layers, and each time I've come out with a bob. My guess is that they hire stylist who aren't very creative and are fixed on one or two cuts. One time I went back two weeks later to ask to have it fixed with more layers, but I had to pay full price for that and still came out with a dull cut. I've learned my lesson. I got my hair and makeup done here for my high school proms and each time I was so happy with how it came out. The stylists were really knowledgeable about what kind of makeup would go well with my dress and the example hair styles I brought in were almost followed exactly. I can't really speak on getting a regular haircut here because I never have, but if you're looking for a place to get special occasion makeup and hair done especially prom, this is an excellent place to go to without having to go to two separate places. read more

It was my first time at Tiffany's, and when I arrived, I was greeted warmly, offered a beverage, given a tour, and shown the comfortable waiting area. The stylist was polite, gave me a great head massage before the cut, and even wrote me a nice thank you note when I was leaving. The prices were quite reasonable too! So all the pieces were there, and everything should have been perfect. But... the trouble was, it wasn't a great haircut. I asked for layers for my long, thin hair but just got a blunt cut that would have worked much better on thick hair. I had to go somewhere else a few weeks later to get it fixed. Maybe the other stylists are better, but I won't be going back there to find out. Plus, my stylist was pleasant but talked a little too fast and intensely to have a soothing conversation, which I would have put up with for a good haircut, but alas, such was not the case. So I will go back there to try a massage at some later point, because their massage rooms looked lovely, but I will not return for another haircut. read more

Recently we went to a scheduled appointment at the Mens salon and as we were walking in our stylist was walking out and was confused because she didn't have us on her schedule, she offered to stay but at that point it was awkward and her ride was waiting for her to leave, so we told her we would reschedule. No big deal stuff happens but the annoying part was receiving a call shortly after from a staff member asking if we wanted to reschedule but also trying to explain away the mix up stating that our appointment had been cancelled and was "I sure that I didn't call to cancel the appointment?" At which I said I absolutely did not cancel and it was not possible that I had given the date of which she said I called on. Am I sure I didn't call? Honestly if you're trying to fix the mistake you made then you probably shouldn't place blame on the customer for your mix up. I know that it's unorthodox for men to go to a 'salon', but Tiffany's Men's is anything but. Luke is an excellent barber, and he knows what a man is looking for in a haircut. Plus, he is more conversational about sports than just about anybody I know. Highly recommended, and you won't be disappointed.
