Kate greeted me outside with a smile when I was trying to find the location. She was very kind and welcoming. There seemed to be a slight language barrier, so I explained that I was pregnant and wanted to lie on my side so my back could be massaged. When I wasn't sure she understood, I pointed to my belly, and she realized I was pregnant. I tried explaining again with gestures that my back was my main area of concern. She then asked if I had booked a 60-minute massage. I told her I had booked 90 minutes. She seemed surprised and repeated, "90 minutes?" I told her that if 90 minutes wasn't appropriate because I was pregnant, I was okay with changing it to 60 minutes. About 20 minutes into the massage, while she was working on my left arm, I noticed she was using only one hand and seemed distracted. Her phone kept buzzing near my head, and it felt like she may have been texting. A little later, she apologized and stepped out of the room to greet what sounded like a walk-in customer. I heard her say, "Can you wait 10 more minutes?" When she came back, she asked me, "Is 60 minutes okay?" I was confused because we had already discussed that earlier. It made me feel like my appointment was being shortened to accommodate the walk-in customer. I looked at the clock and noticed there were only about 15 minutes left, and my back hadn't been worked on at all.
