As an Asheville local with ADHD, all the light up knick knacks were so fun to be around and truly embody what an Asheville dive bar should be. I love the interior of this place! Can't speak on the cocktails as I drank White Claws, however, service was good. Will absolutely be coming back. Also - FYI - it is $5 to come in (one time fee, for the year & your ID will be checked at the door)

Loved everything about the bar. Ned the bartender was definitely the highlight, but the decor, vibes, free pool, massive cards against humanity card set, and killer cocktails were all fabulous too. Loved the chill/not slammed vibes because who wants to be shoulder to shoulder with strangers

Tiger mountain is one of my favorite downtown bars! I like crazy weird things. And this place is full of all sorts of strange lamps, awesome artwork and interesting movie reference items. The dance floor isn't huge which is a plus, so you are kinda forced in closer and maybe meet someone new! Don't forget to jump into the photo booth to get some awesome memories with your new friends or old buddies! The bar tenders are super cool and very friendly! I make a habit of introducing myself to new bar tenders so I can add drinks to my tab without having to shout the name on my tab next to other customers. (Just you know- cautious.) If you're feeling adventurous, try the absinthe.

There's something special about this place. Maybe it's the giant three eyed tiger mural. Maybe it's bottle cap jesus. Maybe it's the fact that it's one shade above pitch black in here. Maybe it's the photo booth where I'm sure dastardly deeds have been attempted, and maybe even completed. Maybe it's the booths, that allow you and your friends to share a table and a conversation. Maybe it's the bartenders, who care just enough to make sure you're happy but don't have time to hear you whine and moan because there's a lot more costumers than you. Maybe it's because they're the only bar in town that serves Old Speckled Hen. Maybe it's the fact that their door guy may be the biggest and nicest fellow I've ever met, but will quell an altercation in an instant. Maybe it's the DJ's that bring a different type of sound every night. Maybe it's that dream machine, constantly spinning..... But something about this place is extremely enticing. There are a lot of bars in the world, but only one Tiger Mountain.

Good spot for a small city like Asheville. Has a drag show which is fun. Pool tables if that's your jam. Indoor outdoor area

This place was awesome, obviously a locals favorite and Daniel behind the bar was full of great tips on what to do in the area.

Pho! Bun! I say again: PHO! BUN!…read moreRIGHT HERE! Broadway's is still the same unassuming neighborhood bar it has always been. But friends, now it has Pho! And Bun! Really decent Pho! Really decent Bun! Flawless pho broth. Perfect noodles. Some of the tastiest bun I have ever eaten. (They call the bun "vermicelli", BTW.) Go there now and get you some Pho! And Bun!

I only write food…read morereviews and a year or so ago I would never have thought to be writing a food review for this business, but here we are! I haven't actually been in Broadways since the change and was pleased to find it's still the same old place, just perhaps a little cleaner which is nice! We ordered three dishes to get a broad spectrum of their offerings, and well we got a wide variety of quality along with those dishes. At the recommendation of the chef I ordered the Pho and man I was not disappointed! A super flavorful broth that smelled divine was filled with perfectly cooked noodles and both meatballs and sliced beef. I inhaled it and loved every bite. I'd have given them a 5 star review if we'd stopped there. I'm a sucker for dumplings so we ordered the fried pork dumplings, they came a bit soggy with oil, a fast food chain tub of sauce and were unmemorable in flavor. I'd have given them a 3 star review based on just the dumplings. We decided to go for the Pad Thai special for our third dish and got it with chicken. The dish didn't really taste much like any Pad Thai I've ever had but wasn't unpleasant in sauce and noodle, it came with shrimp which was a little odd and the shrimp were a little bit over done. The killer here was the chicken. Have you ever microwaved raw chicken? You know how chewy and dry it gets? Well that's what was in our Pad Thai. It was really really bad. If this was the only thing we'd ordered I would have given them a 2 star review. That Pho though! Good enough that I will go back since the only other Pho I think is remotely as good is the recently renamed Pho R Us in south Asheville and I live a mere mile from Broadways. If I ever venture away from the Pho again and it's good I'll update this review rating!

We were there on an evening they were celebrating a bday with Hail Mary. They seem to have a lot of cool local events. The bartenders were amazing! They were beyond friendly and just so down to earth. We went straight to the indoor bar when we arrived and were served almost immediately. I want to plan another trip to AVL soon just so I can spend more time at DayTrip.
