Wow, Andy is such a skilled trainer! We have worked with multiple dog training organizations and individual trainers over the years, and you can just tell when someone really knows what they're doing. We already saw change in our dog's behavior in the first session. Andy took the time to listen at the start of the session. Sometimes trainers make assumptions about the dog or about the owners, or they start teaching you basic skills that you're already doing. Andy asks all the right questions - are you comforable with this kind of collar? have you already tried XYZ strategy? Then, he quickly customized the session for exactly what our situation needed. We have a foster dog that the shelter categorized as "offessively aggresive", in addition to one of our own dogs at home who is dog reactive. We started the session with the foster dog solo, then started doing training exercises with the foster dog + our chillest dog. By the end, Andy managed to walk both the foster dog and our reactive dog within a short distance of each other. At no time did I feel like the dogs were being pushed too far or that the situation was unsafe. He also gives great explanations about dog behavior and clear specific instructions for what to practice on your own. Amazing training experience, we're looking forward to more!

Andy is a " miracle worker" with dogs..I have a high energy , anxious, reactive Australian Kelpie/Cattle dog. Training with Andy has changed my life with my dog in the upmost positive way... I now am able ro take my dog to dog classes and outdoor cafes and events as a well behaved dog. Thank you Andy!

He can't wait to go inside, and seeing how happy he is every visit says everything. The staff is amazing--so kind, caring, and welcoming. Simba absolutely adores all of the employees, and it's clear they love him just as much. They treat him like he's one of their own, and that means the world to me. The facility is always clean, well-maintained, and organized. Everyone is friendly, professional, and genuinely cares about the dogs. I always feel completely comfortable leaving Simba there because I know he's safe, happy, and having the best time. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of Simba. We're so grateful to have found this place, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a daycare where their dog will be loved and cared for like family!

I originally intended to leave a positive review, especially after being offered a discount…read moreincentive to do so before even seeing my dogs. However, after picking them up and fully evaluating their condition, I feel obligated to leave an honest account of my experience. My dogs were boarded here for 21 days, and I paid $3,340.29 with the expectation that they would be properly cared for. When I saw them at pickup, I was immediately alarmed by how thin they appeared. At first I questioned whether I was overreacting, so I weighed them once we got home. Based on their recorded weights, they lost approximately 18% of their body weight during their stay. The more I look at them and evaluate their condition, the more upset and disturbed this makes me. In addition to the severe weight loss, both dogs also had fresh cuts and scars that appeared consistent with having been in fights or altercations while boarded. This was never communicated to me during their stay, and seeing visible injuries on top of their physical condition was extremely upsetting. I documented their condition with video and reviewed everything more carefully afterward. Two days before pickup, I received an email stating they "seemed a bit hungry after eating their food." I had provided very specific feeding instructions, including a digital scale to measure 200 grams of food per feeding, twice daily. When I checked the scale afterward, I noticed the units had been changed from grams, and I also became concerned they may have been weighing the food incorrectly by including the bowl weight. What upsets me most is that their veterinary records clearly documented their healthy weight immediately before boarding. The condition they were returned in was not acceptable and should never have happened under professional supervision. I do not believe this was intentional cruelty, but I do believe there was serious negligence and incompetence in their care. The email sent shortly before pickup now feels more like an attempt to establish concern in advance rather than address the issue appropriately. I trusted this facility with my dogs' health and wellbeing, and I will never trust them with their care again.

Charlie…read morewas super helpful as the sitter I had originally scheduled cancelled rather close to my trip. However upon boarding with Charlie a second time, there were some red flags. I remembered from my previous experience with Charlie that they preferred being paid in cash so when they sent me the invoice I asked if paying in cash was okay and they said that was fine. They also had stated I would be getting a slight discount ($36 a night instead of the normal $40 a night). Then at 5 am the morning of drop off I get a long paragraph stating that there was a convenience fee being added on as I didn't prepay. As it was literally the day before I had to leave, I felt no choice but to pay as I didn't have many options. The convenience fee was basically the same difference the discount Charlie gave was (I think it made my new total 3 or 4 dollars less than the original $40 a night would have added up to be). Then when I paid Charlie in person they didn't have any change and said they would give me the difference upon pickup. They also had stated that pickup was after 7 pm and when I texted them that I was on my way at around 7 pm that would be would get there at 7:15 ish. I did not get response until I had pulled up that Charlie needed to get dressed and that I needed to wait. After leaving for my trip, I texted to check in two days in a row before I got a response. Charlie said that they had sent photos and videos but I had not received anything and that things were fine. As I was traveling and only able to be on WiFi, I just passed it off as an error on my end even though all our messages were I-message and should have had any issues with sending photos. Then the next day I get text from Charlie asking if I can come after three for pickup. The stay was booked for two more and I reminded them of that. It was stated in my first submission through their website's online form as well as the invoice they had sent me in the same message thread. I will commend Charlie on being super flexible when I told them with issues with my flights being delayed as well as customs issues. I made sure to tip more heavily as they did me a huge favor. However pickup happened without them being present even when I offered to come by later when they would be around. It was not until the next day (after some much needed sleep) that I noticed some wounds/scratches on my cat that I was never informed about. If Charlie would have reached out and let me know beforehand, I would have been understanding as I know my cat was not the only one in residence upon drop off. There is a scratch on my cat's nose, a bulky scab on the interior of one of my cat's ears, and what feels like more scratches on the back of her head and neck.

WARNING ABOUT BOOKING WITH CHARLIE…read more I don't typically post reviews but I felt that it was important to post this one. This interaction happened a couple months ago in April. We met in person at their place and everything looked great. We were really excited to have our cats with Charlie, so we gave them our deposit. They requested 50% up front, we respected their request and gave them $321.75 out of $643.50 for 11 days for 2 cats. A couple days later, I had received a panicked message from Charlie asking for $100 more on top of that due to an emergency they were having, stating that it was urgent. This was very concerning behavior. We know nothing about Charlie and asking us for more money seemed very suspicious. It makes no sense to ask your clients to help with personal, financial struggles, especially when we had just given them $321.75! We felt uneasy about this, so we asked for our money back and they refused to return it. Be careful. We were not expecting this kind of behavior and request from someone with a 5 star review on yelp. This is very concerning behavior and we were worried there may be more requests for more money once our cats were in their possession. We attempted to settle this in our messages, but unfortunately Charlie did not see their request and behavior as a problem, and refused to give us our money, leaving us with the only option to write this review. We still have not received our money and considering this a lesson learned. UPDATE: Note for Charlie's response, this is not at all what happened in our exchanges. I'm not sure if they are recalling a conversation with a different customer, but there was no mention of a request for donation at all. Since Charlie sees no issues with this behavior, it's fair that they stand behind it here. I've attached screenshots as proof of their error.

From the moment you walk in, George makes you feel like more than just a customer--he remembers your face, greets you like an old friend, and treats you like family. His kindness, sense of humor, and genuine compassion are just as impressive as his incredible knowledge and expertise with animals. I recently brought in my oldest cat, whose fur had become severely matted. Rather than rushing through the appointment, George and his team took extra time and exceptional care to make sure she was as comfortable and stress-free as possible. They patiently shaved and carefully worked through the mats, and I could tell my cat's well-being was their top priority every step of the way. What meant the most to me was George's compassion during a difficult time in my life. He was incredibly understanding of my financial hardships and worked with me so I could still get my cat the care she desperately needed. That level of kindness and empathy is something you don't come across every day, and I'll never forget it. I trust George and his team completely with my pets, and that peace of mind is priceless. Whether you're looking for grooming, boarding, or daycare, I wholeheartedly recommend Andy's Pet Grooming. It's a wonderful family-owned business that truly cares about both the animals and the people who love them. Thank you, George and the entire team, for always treating my cats with such love and care. You've earned a customer for life. See you again in a couple months!

When I got him back, his stomach and paws were covered in dried up urine and was clearly not acting like himself. Over the next two days, he had rectal bleeding that continued for two days, refused to eat for three days, and was severely dehydrated. I immediately contacted Ruff Resort to let them know what was happening with my dog, but I never received a response. I ended up taking him to the veterinarian, where he underwent multiple examinations. Between the exams and treatment, I spent over $700 trying to determine what was wrong. The vet did confirm he was severely dehydrated. A two day boarding ultimately cost me $1000. After not hearing back, I called the facility today to ask if they were open because I wanted to speak with someone in person. They told me they had tried to text me. They claimed the first message bounced back but that a second message went through. However, I never received any text on my phone. More importantly, if a customer contacts you to report that their dog became seriously ill after staying at your facility, the appropriate response is to pick up the phone and call them--not rely on text messages, especially if you already know one message failed to deliver. The lack of urgency, communication, and concern was incredibly disappointing. My dog's health and well-being should have been the priority, and instead I was left dealing with a very sick dog, expensive veterinary bills, and no meaningful response from the facility.
