However, after picking them up and fully evaluating their condition, I feel obligated to leave an honest account of my experience. My dogs were boarded here for 21 days, and I paid $3,340.29 with the expectation that they would be properly cared for. When I saw them at pickup, I was immediately alarmed by how thin they appeared. At first I questioned whether I was overreacting, so I weighed them once we got home. Based on their recorded weights, they lost approximately 18% of their body weight during their stay. The more I look at them and evaluate their condition, the more upset and disturbed this makes me. In addition to the severe weight loss, both dogs also had fresh cuts and scars that appeared consistent with having been in fights or altercations while boarded. This was never communicated to me during their stay, and seeing visible injuries on top of their physical condition was extremely upsetting. I documented their condition with video and reviewed everything more carefully afterward. Two days before pickup, I received an email stating they "seemed a bit hungry after eating their food." I had provided very specific feeding instructions, including a digital scale to measure 200 grams of food per feeding, twice daily. When I checked the scale afterward, I noticed the units had been changed from grams, and I also became concerned they may have been weighing the food incorrectly by including the bowl weight. What upsets me most is that their veterinary records clearly documented their healthy weight immediately before boarding. The condition they were returned in was not acceptable and should never have happened under professional supervision. I do not believe this was intentional cruelty, but I do believe there was serious negligence and incompetence in their care. The email sent shortly before pickup now feels more like an attempt to establish concern in advance rather than address the issue appropriately. I trusted this facility with my dogs' health and wellbeing, and I will never trust them with their care again.

On multiple occasions, food was left behind when I picked him up, which is unusual for my dog. I initially assumed these were isolated incidents, but after reading Yelp and Google reviews, I realized many other customers were reporting similar concerns involving communication, feeding, and overall care. I was also troubled to learn through public reviews that a dog had escaped and was subsequently killed. As a pet parent, that information was alarming and raised questions about the safeguards in place to protect the dogs entrusted to the facility. To their credit, the facility now has a new manager and the district manager did eventually provide a detailed response to many of my concerns. However, one of the most consistent issues has been the lack of timely follow-up. In my experience, it often takes multiple calls, emails, or weeks of waiting to receive answers. I am hopeful that the operational changes currently being implemented lead to meaningful improvements. My goal in sharing this review is not to discourage others from using the facility, but to encourage greater transparency, communication, and accountability. Scheduling is always easy through the phone or email. They keep track of vaccines to make sure we submit them when required. In…read more2023/2024 I found the dog resort extremely helpful as a day time dog sitter for 4-6 hrs at a time. My dog didn't seem to mind it and always came back calmer so I decided to leave him here for 9 days while I went away for a trip. I don't recall the exact costs. Probably between 900-1100 dollars for daily walks and his home provided food. I asked the employees to put on his sweater at night. It wasn't a question it was a very important task they agreed to. He was a very small 8 pound yorkie and was always cold. When I came back my dog was not his normal self. That already made me highly suspicious about getting his walks. He was coughing a lot, not sleeping but also lethargic. I took him to the vet and he had pneumonia. Meaning, he was cold from day 1 and got worse for the remainder of his stay and I never got a call from here. From there he got sicker and sicker and I had to put him down. I was devastated and desperate to get him back to normal for months! I recommend people never leave their dogs in places like this. Sure you save money and they may or may not have company (depending on their personality) but you're better off vetting a dog sitter to check in or stay with your dog at home. In the end you may save yourself an onslaught of vet bills from trying to figure what is making your dog so ill when back from a trip. At least with an in home dog sitter they're more like to stay alive and healthy. If you have a small dog with specific needs get someone who can cater to your dog with love and care. I highly suggest NEVER leaving your dog for overnight or extended stays. I hate that it took me so long to post this but my grief was too strong to do it before. I wanted to sue, I wanted my money back, but I was so sad and I couldn't bring myself to do much other than focus on him and move on with my life. I'll never get another dog after this experience.
