We made a quick circle through the store and still no interest in possible sales or greeting from any employee. So we left. This saddens me, but I guess that's what this world has come to- utter rudeness and lack of social skills.

If this review were about service alone, it would be five stars. Unfortunately, it's about the products. Strike one: I bought several beach towels. They sat UNUSED in my garage for a few weeks, and when I brought two back to exchange for a different color, one had visibly faded -- from UV light coming through a garage window. A beach towel that fades from indirect sunlight, before it ever saw a beach. Nika exchanged them without charge, and I liked the look enough to buy six more. Strike two: I then invested in a large, very expensive market umbrella with a heavy base, plus two smaller umbrellas with the same bases. In less than THREE MONTHS, the bases were rusting. These are outdoor products from a premium coastal-lifestyle brand -- rusting in under a season. Again Nika came to the rescue, swapping them for stainless steel bases (I paid the difference). After the second failure, something felt off for such a high-end-looking company, so I finally did what I should have done first: I Googled their reviews. They were astonishingly low. Now I understand why. Beautiful designs, wonderful in-store service, but the products simply don't hold up to their intended use. At these prices, that's not acceptable. Do your homework before you buy -- I wish I had.

I was pulling up my receipt and it was clear they were in no way willing to help me resolve my issue. My $70 sweater with their tags still attached is ruined - clearly didn't have the stains when I bought it and after being wrapped in their tissue paper for a few days, it did. I said, it doesn't appear that you're going to do anything as she was hiding in the room talking to her manager on the phone about it. And so I was sent away with a brand new sweater ruined by their "non bleeding" magic tissue paper. Every store in laguna carries the same products so I will for sure be giving my business to another one.

Heidi is one of the most hard working generous people I have ever met. She goes out of her way to help others both in her store and in the community. Her most recent contribution is nothing short of amazing, as this November she is preparing to donate one of her kidney's to a friend in need. Seriously... who do you know that has a heart this big? To put her gift in perspective, here are some facts you should know. As of 1/11/16 (latest stats) there were are over 100,000 people in need of a kidney. In 2014 (latest stats) there were just over 17,000 transplants . Of those, there were 5,500 living donors, of which 544 were from friends of the recipient. That puts Heidi in the stratosphere when it comes to those willing to go above and beyond. You should support her store by treating yourself to one of her many fashion forward outfits (or buying a gift card) in celebration of her unbridled human spirit. read more

I met Heidi about three years ago when I was vacationing in Laguna Beach and stopped into her store to do some shopping. I was hooked from the start! Because I live in Michigan, I continue to shop with her via her Facebook page. I've purchased at least ten items since that visit, including leggings, tops, a jacket and a dress, all very unique and absolutely beautiful! The quality of every piece is bar none! Shopping, shipping and delivery is easy peasy - everything has arrived safely and timely. I rate Tight Assets 5 out of 5 stars, and if I could, Heidi would most definitely get a 10-star rating!! I've shopped in Tight Assets for years and always have a great experience, Heidi's selection of clothing is absolutely unique and I always find beautiful, one of a kind clothing that is flattering. I was there today and found several perfect summer tops at a great price, appropriate for my lifestyle. I find clothing that I can wear for any occasion; going to the gym or beach or while attending a cocktail party and other special events.It is nice to shop in a store where the owner knows my name and is familiar with my taste in clothing. Going to Laguna Beach is made even more delightful when I have an opportunity to stop by and see my long time friend, Heidi. I always receive compliments when I wear her one of a kind fashions. I appreciate well constructed clothing and have always found that the fashions quite durable and attractive. My friend who accompanied me was impressed with Tight Assets and said he will return with his daughter soon. Heidi's store is a favorite among locals as well as visitors from out of town. Stopped by a couple of weeks ago when visiting Laguna Beach with family. The clothes are kind of shabby looking, but very expensive for the style, fabric, and quality. I couldn't stand listening to the owner's constant bitching about how bad business was and the lack of parking. Huge turn-off! There are many very nice shops in this area, but this isn't one of them. read more

The lady working here was nice - she got me a fitting room and was helpful at checkout. The swimsuits are higher end brands of swimwear, so the prices can be higher depending on what brand/style you are getting. They have a sale section, where you can get a top and bottom for the price of one piece at retail price. By the end of the season, my swimsuits end up trashed from swimming and tanning between the California coast and the Phoenix sun, so I stuck with the sale section. Walked out with 2 brand new suits! I'll definitely be returning!

So this is a long story…read more I went into this store for the first time with my two girlfriends. We were browsing around and looking at bikinis and being indecisive about what to try on. Were girl, we don't fucking know what to get and us girls are indecisive. At first the girl was being nice (I think) , making sure we were taken care of. But then when we started to try on the bikinis she kept asking if we were okay in the dressing rooms. And not in a way you think, she kept asking after every minute if we were doing good in the dressing room as if she thought we were gonna steal them. Long story short, after trying on the bathing suits we decided to put them on hold so we can look for other swim suits at the mall. This girl told us that we could leave them on hold for 24 hours, please remember that! So we shop around and decide to go back and get those bikinis and my dad said he'd pay for our bikinis so we were just waiting in the shop while he transferred the money to my account. While waiting this girl straight out wouldn't leave us alone, asking us questions and if we were gonna buy the swim suits when we told her we would. We started to feel uncomfortable and the worker overheard me and my friend talking to each each about waiting for my dad to pay me and then this worker straight out cut into the conversation and said, "You guys have to have that person here to pay for them. If you're paying with someone else's credit card they need to be here." And then I told her I was using my card. And then we were waiting for a little more and then this girl just straight out came up to us and said "i don't know what you guys are trying to do but we can't hold onto these items for you guys for long." And then I replied saying "You just told me not to long that we can keep them on hold for 24 hrs." And she replied with, "not if you guys are doing something sketchy." We were going back and forth and she was saying things like "You guys are being sketchy using your daddies money." "Ii don't know if your sugar daddy isn't send you money but we can't hold onto these items for long." Things like that, SUPER RUDE! Sorry but if you dad can't buy you an expensive bikini just say that and tell your dad to get his money up. I'm not trying to pay 500$ for a bikini, that's why I had my dad pay for it. And we went back and forth and eventually she said she wasn't going to hold our items even though we were gonna pay for them, I was just waiting for my dad to send me the money since I didn't have any money in my account. And this worker was being super rude and wasn't treating anyone else like that in the store. Only me and my two friends. (Pretty sure because she was being lowkey being racist but I wanted to hope for the best that racism wasn't a thing anymore) We ended up leaving the store because we felt uncomfortable and waited for my dad to send the money, which he did. We later on went back to the store and ended up paying for the things. That girl was no longer there instead another work who saw the interaction was there and she apologized for her behavior. So yeah, if you go to this store, be aware that there is possibly a racist employee who works there. To the girl who cashed us out and apologized and made us feel comfortable again, she was super sweet!
