Tijuana Falls - Totowa, NJ Food was just okay. Chips weren't house-made, guac was underwhelming, and the nachos were a bit of a mess with sliced canned jalapeños on top. Flautas looked like something frozen. Staff was nice, but it didn't feel like an authentic Mexican meal. As far as ambience, it's a tiny little place.

The food hear was delicious. I ordered the chicken tacos and you can't beat $11 for 4 tacos. Wait staff was kind and attentive. Only downside is the parking. It's on a street with no street parking and they essentially only have a lot for staff. Other than that would recommend and visit again

Have been wanting to try this place since they first opened less than a year ago. The interior is nicely decorated with its own funky, cute creative style (like the large lady bugs decorating the wall, the colored boards with little greetings, etc.) They had the TV on with (Presumably) Mexican musical artists giving live performances. Now to the food, which was frankly just meh. I ordered the chicken taquitos (sometimes called flautas or rolled tacos depending on where you're ordering). 4 chicken taquitos with rice and beans came out to $15 when paying cash, if paid with CC it would have been more. Felt kind of pricey given that there was no avocado/guacamole and the rice was not good- hard and not flavorful. The fixings themselves weren't bad- crunchy lettuce and tomato, though the beans were basically pure liquid and again with no flavor. The taquitos themselves were somehow soggy even though I ordered to go and ate immediately. It was edible though and I liked the two hot sauces it came with, green and red and they weren't very spicy which was fine. Not sure I'd give this place another try especially with the lack of parking (only one spot in the back which is very difficult to get in and out of).

    Very overcooked chicken fingers

Overall the food was good. We had a few burritos , tacos , nachos , corn. We ordered chicken fingers for the kids and they look like they were about 15 minutes overcooked.

They send you a text once you order to tell you when it will be ready. You can select pickup or delivery. The prices are really affordable for the amount of food you get. They have a large menu with a lot to choose from. I chose to pick up my dinner. The restaurant was immaculate, the food was visible behind the glass as well. the server was friendly. My food came nicely packaged with napkins and silverware and a no slip cover for my marinated pork rice bowl. the Slow roasted marinated pork was absolutely mouth watering and delicious. Everything was made fresh and the beans were perfectly cooked and sumptuous. The fresh cilantro, tomatoes and sauces were perfectly balanced and flavorful. There was an abundance of marinated pork that was a delightful surprise. The rice was fragrant and cooked perfectly. This is the first time I have eaten at your restaurant but it won't be the last. Thank you for an incredible dinner! Sincerely, Laura
