Came to Tijuana Falls Taqueria in Little Falls tonight with a friend -- an awesome little hole-in-the-wall spot that turned out to be deceivingly good. Food: I had a burrito packed with flavor, and I especially loved the Verde and Rojo sauces that gave it a great kick. My friend ordered the chicken tacos and really enjoyed them as well. Solid portions and fresh-tasting ingredients made it a satisfying meal. Service: Our waitress, Emely, was really polite and attentive throughout the meal. Service was straightforward and pleasant. Aesthetic: A cozy Mexican restaurant with around six tables and upbeat music that sets a nice tone. Parking can be tricky, with only a few spots on the side -- avoid the back lot, especially on weekends. read more

Tijuana Falls - Totowa, NJ Food was just okay. Chips weren't house-made, guac was underwhelming, and the nachos were a bit of a mess with sliced canned jalapeños on top. Mexican = guac and margaritas and this place didn't have margaritas or real guac. The rest of the food was good though. I ordered tostadas, which came out last because they're made to order, thankfully something was fresh since their guac was obviously packaged. The experience felt a bit rushed when the bill was dropped right after most people finished eating. On the plus side, they do allow BYOB. Decor was cute. We enjoyed the bachata playing nonstop eventhough that's not originally Mexican. read more

The food hear was delicious. I ordered the chicken tacos and you can't beat $11 for 4 tacos. Wait staff was kind and attentive. Only downside is the parking. It's on a street with no street parking and they essentially only have a lot for staff. Other than that would recommend and visit again read more

Have been wanting to try this place since they first opened less than a year ago. The interior is nicely decorated with its own funky, cute creative style (like the large lady bugs decorating the wall, the colored boards with little greetings, etc.) They had the TV on with (Presumably) Mexican musical artists giving live performances. Now to the food, which was frankly just meh. I ordered the chicken taquitos (sometimes called flautas or rolled tacos depending on where you're ordering). 4 chicken taquitos with rice and beans came out to $15 when paying cash, if paid with CC it would have been more. Felt kind of pricey given that there was no avocado/guacamole and the rice was not good- hard and not flavorful. The fixings themselves weren't bad- crunchy lettuce and tomato, though the beans were basically pure liquid and again with no flavor. The taquitos themselves were somehow soggy even though I ordered to go and ate immediately. It was edible though and I liked the two hot sauces it came with, green and red and they weren't very spicy which was fine. Not sure I'd give this place another try especially with the lack of parking (only one spot in the back which is very difficult to get in and out of). read more
