Ordered: Create Your Own Bowl (~$10): half grilled adobo chicken and half slow-smoked beef brisket with both seasoned brown rice and cilantro lime rice. For add-ons, I got black beans, pico de gallo, chile corn salsa, a little bit of queso, and their new chile crema sauce. For toppings, I got fajita veggies, their new pickled red onions, hand-smashed guacamole, and shredded 3-cheese blend topped with crispy tortilla chips and cilantro. Aya's take: I'm surprised at the low reviews because I had a good experience here! I was randomly craving QDOBA (which is weird because I rarely get it). I love the variety of toppings here and although the bowl construction and customer service could have been better, everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. What a bummer that I rated one QDOBA (Bergen Town Center 5/5) and this one is a 1/5 Staff is rude. They are constantly making faces at you and make you feel completely uncomfortable. I came here last night and they were cleaning up the place an hour before closing. There should be no reason you're wrapping things up and cleaning the surfaces at 8PM. You close at 9.. In addition, they lack knowledge on the restaurant they work for. I made my whole bowl and then asked to get Mexican Cesar dressing. To at which the girl questioned me a million times and proceeded to tell me QDOBA doesn't make that. Gave me a face and said they never have. This is when I got annoyed. I pulled up the QDOBA page and showed her. She continued to tell me they don't carry it .. STRANGE. I asked if it was just this location that didn't carry it? Did they run out? I told her I've gotten it before. She gave a face again and said they never do. How does a chain not carry a best seller. At this point I figured this girl is clueless at her job. I asked what dressings they had. And she was showing me two hot sauces and ranch. How do you only have three dressings... oh yeah because you cleaned up at 8PM and didn't want to serve customers since you wrapped them all up. So I was forced to have the ranch and HATED the whole bowl. I ended up tossing it because their sloppy and quick service made me lose my appetite. I would avoid this place if you could. Where to begin... NO GLOVES, RUDE MANAGER I don't think I've ever experienced such rude customer service EVER. As someone who comes to Qdoba everyday, I would expect to be greeted with a smile and a hello, instead I get scolded by the manager herself for asking if she can wear gloves. She blamed me for the trash that was on the counter table which was there already and then proceeded to yell at me for asking where her gloves were. I came on a Saturday afternoon expecting a bit of a wait, instead they rush every person in line to order and sort of throw the food on the plate like you're in a high school cafeteria. I went to the mall to return some things to Anne Taylor and as usual I stopped by Qdoba, I ordered 3 cheese nachos w/ double meat and the Food was cold (the chicken AND the cheese) .. This QDOBA store is horrible. Staff is very rude and makes faces when you're ordering. They have side conversations in Spanish and forget the customer is even in front of them. I work in the mall so I order from here often and the service is always bad, every time. they don't even wear gloves, which is DISGUSTING and I've had to ask them several times to put on gloves before touching my bowl and they make a dirty face each time. You'll get sent home for even doing something like that at Chipotle and I know that because I used to work there before. They'll also touch the register and money with their bare hands and continue to touch the food afterwards. It's beyond gross in that place. Do better. read more

The lady behind the counter was rude and unfriendly, I asked for a vegetarian burrito and she put 2.5 massive scoops of rice leaving no room for anything else - If I wanted rice I would have gone to one of the Asian places here. She was able to fit a few beans and a couple veggies on here and rolled it up half-assed with stuff pouring out of the part where the sides of the tortilla meet; she showed no concern. I tried choking down this abomination however was unable to and finally took it back and went to Taco Bell. I was MUCH more satisfied. Everyone is pretty rude overall and the one with the high pitched voice is exceptionally rude in particular. I am a vegetarian and when I was there today she was using the meat scoops to pull the furthest scoops towards her. I didn't see anything fall into the vegetables on my particular time, but something must have earlier because there was a calcified piece of beef in my third taco. Food poisoning! Last night my family and I decide to go Christmas shopping and decided to eat at qadoba! We never finish shopping my son started vomiting inside Macy's at that moment i didn't think it was the food. After that he vomited at least 5 or six times at home. So for about $10 I get a burrito with almost all rice, a tiny bit of meat and even less veggies? If you ask for guacamole, you get a small plastic cup not even filled halfway? I'm all about portion control, but this is a total rip off. Chipotle did this, but was never this bad, to cut costs and increase its stock price, but that and their recent health food scare gave Qdoba a huge opportunity to take a ton of market share. All they had to do was do what they did back in the day where you were given huge burritos that were too big to finish and their tortillas could barely wrap all the way around. Now, there is so much excess tortilla it's just a complete rip off. This place is seriously gauging their customers. Just another reason I keep cooking and eating at home. Normally I only leave reviews, unless I have something nice to say. I don't have anything nice to say, except that as a brand, Qdoba is by far one of the better options in the mall. At the time my husband and I had a kiosk in Willowbrook. I worked 12 hours a day sometimes. The owner of Qdoba advertised free refills (many of the restaurants offer free or low cost refills for mall employees) Ok, great. I will get my soda AND food from Qdoba, and make 1 stop, and it will save me time getting back to the kiosk. Wrong. The owner saw me, and decided he didn't like me coming back for "excessive" refills, and made a much, MUCH bigger deal about it than was necessary. All he had to say was that he would have to start charging me. Instead he gave me a stern (and quite embarrassing) talking to, in front of his teenage employees. Admittedly, I do drink a lot of soda (but don't offer free soda, if you don't want to give away free soda!) and I do look young for my age, but I found his general tone to be both embarrassing, sexist, and not at ALL an appropriate way to talk to an adult, and fellow business owner. He totally "little ladied" me, spoke to me like i was a small child, or a teenager, and I did not appreciate it. I haven't spent a dime there since, and I never will again. I just can't bring myself to spend money at businesses owned by people I don't like. What a jerk. read more

As other posters wrote, my chicken buritto was filled with rice and hardly anything else. Qdoba is really going downshil, being cheap on their ingredients and giving very little chicken and cheese and stuffing a burrito with rice. I will not be going back to this one, or any other Qdobas. read more

First time visit at this qdoba and last. My husband and I have visited the short hills location several times and were very pleased. However this one was awful. The food stations appeared sloppy and I thought maybe since it was because it was the end of the day. I ordered two mango salads and a cheese quesadilla for my daughter. I asked for corn salsa and was told I couldn't have it because it was the mango salad. When I got back to the table I noticed the quesadilla was burned and inedible. I had to go back and ask for another one and the girl behind the counter made it without saying a word. My salad was basically lettuce with a few tiny pieces of mango and tomato on top. There were very few pieces of what appeared to be dark meat fatty chicken. The picture showed white meat chicken. It wasn't anything like it appeared in the picture.
