    Cool Gator themed artwork

This place is really cool! Neat art on the walls and Gator themed stuff. Friendly service and very clean. This was the best hot queso that we've had at a Tijuana Flats. The tacos and chips were really good, and the ingredients were fresh. The strawberry lemonade was great too, and with unlimited free refills! Plenty of parking and indoor and outdoor seating. It was pretty busy for being a Gator game day, but food still came out quick.

I haven't been to Tijuana Flats since 2012 when they were in a different location... I haven't been back because I didn't like it but A LOT has changed since then. This new location is absolutely beautiful, very clean, and in a convenient location with great parking and outdoor seating. I went at 11 am on a Wednesday and it wasn't crowded at all. There were a few guests dining inside and a few on the outside patio, but a lot of traffic in the store was for online order pickups. We ordered off of the new Street Corn limited menu and it was the best lunch I've had in a while. The side of corn is a great value and soooo sweet, juicy, and flavorful. The sauce and cheese and cilantro on it take it to the next level. The street corn chicken tacos were amazing!! The street corn steak bowl was so good also - they forgot the steak originally, but quickly brought it on the side to me. I love that it comes with guac without the upcharge. We bought a large queso to add to our meals and I'd highly recommend doing so as well!! We finished off our lunch with cookie dough flautas, which were next-level delicious. The management and staff at this location are amazing and super friendly. They were quick to fix any issues we had and made sure to check up on us to see how we were liking our meals. There are so many sauces to choose from at their sauce bar too. We can't wait to go back!!

Can't even eat the taco that they made, unbelievably pisspoor attention to quality. The cheese was NEVER melted, and the taco was as cold as items kept in a refrigerator. If I could give zero stars I would. Somebody in the kitchen back there thinks this is what tacos are supposed to look like? Untoasted tortillas and cold chicken and unmelted cheese?

First time coming here. Tijuana flats is exactly what you expect: slightly overpriced, mediocre at best tex-mex. I personally love mexican food and tex mex, but everything here was just so salty. The guac was salty, chips slathered in salt, and even the pico de gallo required a glass of water. It just made the entire dining experience not enjoyable. The quesadilla itself wasn't half bad, it's just everything else that turned me off of the new. I'd recommend going to a local spot rather than here, but if you really need tex-mex and are close by, this will scratch your itch.

Well even AFTER the Elite event here at Tijuana Flats, I've come back JUST. FOR. THEIR. WINGS!! The jalapeño lime wings (Which weren't my first choice last time) were my choice THIS time! And they sure didn't disappoint. Juicy, tender, flavored just right and oh so good. That was MY dinner -- 10 filled me up to almost exploding. (Might have been the delicious nachos and queso that helped a little too) My hubby got the chicken tinga burrito and six wings (they accidentally gave him 8, but who would complain about that??). He made it thru about 3/4 of his GINORMOUS burrito and only managed to eat two wings. The rest we had to take home...but again, who's complaining? His burrito was absolutely HUGE and full of fresh deliciousness. He said I'd make a great choice for dinner (that means he enjoyed EVERYTHING!) and I was happy to share the joy of Tijuana Flats with my hubby. Thanks again to the hard working staff here and everyone for their meticulous attention to flavor. It's official! We're coming back anytime I crave wings per my husband and you know HE'S the authority . On a Friday it wasn't too packed and our food was still hot and fresh, regardless of how many orders they were filling. There's plenty of space in the huge parking lot behind and we had no trouble finding a spot in front either. Do yourself a favor if you love wings and try Tijuana Flats! (They have great Mexican food as well)...

Yelp Elite events are the times I have been recently but we had the steak flautas and they were great! They make them to order and so they're customizable! I love the sauce bar and they've got options from sweet chili to extra spicy habanero. Great quick service too!

Love Love Love this place! Don't know it took so long to get back here since the pandemic! So tasty, lots of food you get and the chips...my fave great customer service and lots sauce options! All about the options!!! We sat outside and it was beautiful! I got the blackened chicken salad and it's the bomb!

I have an ardent love for this chain, and this location is as good as it gets. The service is always friendly, and that is saying a lot for a fast casual place. Everything comes out with a quickness and I love how they come around and check on you, to make sure you have enough to drink (this is so great at a spicy food place!) and to verify the correctness of your order. I have pretty much eaten everything on the menu, twice. You can't go wrong with the nachos and their regular tacos are huge. For this price point, Tijuana Flats can't be beat.

Taco Tuesday at the original location

I give Tijuana Flats a 4 for their great service and cleanliness, but personally, the food isn't my favorite. It's been my and my friends' go-to joint on Tuesdays since 2014 when we started college. They have an all-day Tuesday special consisting of two tacos, chips, and a drink for $6. Affordable and sufficient, especially when you have a taco craving! I don't go to Tijuana Flats any other day since I'm able to find cheaper Tex Mex food and deals elsewhere. What makes Tijuana Flats unique is their sauce bar. The sauces range from mild to the hottest of the hot, and also include different flavors like sweet chili sauce. If you don't want to pay extra for queso or guac, then you have the free hot bar to turn to. I had a great experience with the staff members--they're all so nice and welcoming! One staff member even opened the door to greet me and my friend during our most recent visit. They make rounds often to check up on you, take away trash, and ask if you need anything. The restaurant is super clean and spacious, especially when they moved locations. Their new location in the Butler Plaza area looks more modern with their wood tables and bright lights.

Nice save. Parking when they're busy is a bit much but we found a spot around the corner from the door and walked to the entrance. You walk through their outside dining area which is all covered but because it had just rained it was a bit muggy for us so we opted to sit inside. The place has multiple floors and I really like that set up. We were sat upstairs on the second floor right by the top of the stairs. Looking around you can see another floor with a reserved area, tvs showing sports, and their salsa bar, more on that later. No chips and salsa here. Chips and Charro Bean Dip. The beans tasted refried and charred if that makes sense. I lost at rock, paper, scissors so I had to go visit the salsa bar and bring back dips to try. They had some pretty good ones like their homemade chipotle dressing, salsa verde, salsa de molcajete, etc. There wasn't one that we didn't like. Our server was really great and took care of us well. I got a Tamarindo Margarita and to eat the Enchiladas Poblanas (chicken enchiladas with mole sauce, queso fresco, raw onions) with the normal side of refried beans and rice, lettuce, tomato, sour cream, and guac. I got a side of extra cheese because I'm a little rat and dumped it on them. The mole sauce really hit the spot. The last time I had it the sauce was kinda bland but this gave such a nice sweet and earthy flavor. He got the Molcajete Azteca (lava rock bowl with char-grilled chicken, steak, chorizo, shrimp, queso fresco, grilled cactus, onions, avocados, serrano peppers, pork rinds), same sides as my dish. He ''Oooh-ed" and "Ahhh-ed" and "Oh my God, this is so good" so you know he was a happy guy. I can see what all the hype is about. Definitely a place to visit.

I've never been denied service as a restaurant, but it definitely felt that way. When I used to work at restaurants we would take people until closing time. I understand it's not ideal but if you aren't going to take more people you might as well turn off the "open" sign. If it's 10:00am don't go here. Yes even on Fridays.

I am not sure why they have a no drinks policy , I get the food but drinks? I had to down my iced coffee just to be sat down. I suggest going to La hacienda in Ocala if you can it's worth a drive trust me.
