Unfortunately I don't leave many negative reviews but this visit was sub par at best. I chose to pay the bill and leave without eating my food. It started with a long wait for silverware and a drink. Came here on a Saturday before 6pm so restaurant was quiet and seated within minutes. This is my first time coming here but have heard about this restaurant for years. You'll get chips and salsa as soon as you sit down. My husband ordered a large margarita but didn't expect the cost or the size of it for $22. He said the drink was good but not worth the price plenty of places around town you can have better drinks for the price. We ordered for the kids the kids quesadilla with rice and beans which was perfect for our little ones to share. However they don't have any drinks for kids. We had the beef flautas with charro beans and salad with guacamole. The flautas and beans were delicious but the guacamole was rancid. I recommend you try the Jamaica drink it was great. My husband had the carne asada burrito with queso and really enjoyed it but no sides. Food and service was good but too expensive for only two entrees, two jamaicas, one kids meal and one alcoholic drink with tip $100. read more

This place if in survival mode needs to up their game . First off the service for the restaurant not being all that busy was poor. The food was awful chips were old tasting maybe the oil was rancid , cup of chicken and rice soup was loaded down with all rice which soaked up the broth and my beef burrito was saturated in grease wish now I would have taken a picture the flour tortilla was limp and soggy from all the grease the burrito didn't have hardly any beef in it to begin with . Zero quality control here ! I will stop here with my review but the rest of our food was horrible . Prices were exceedingly high for a Mexican restaurant, especially of this quality. We came here today with a large group, 14 total, and were quickly seated. The happy hour is only valid in the bar area which is behind the hostess station and separate with TVs and a pool table. The main dining area has foosball and a small room with a few free arcade games like Mortal Kombat and Pac Man. Jessika served our group and she was great. The food came quickly and everything came out delicious except people didn't care for the salsa. I had a Sierra Nevada Hazy Little Thing draft as my beverage. This was a perfect pit stop for us traveling from Florida to Georgia where they have gas around to fill up till you settle your little ones and order food. The food was good Mexican food and the service was good. We had asked to serve in Togo boxes so we could carry leftovers in the car for kids and they happily did it for us. The Ambiance was a great little Mexican city made. The restrooms were clean and ample parking was available. After food we also have DD to pick up coffee on our way to continue the drive. read more

I am so happy we stopped here on the way home from Tallahassee. The fajita burrito is amazing! Not only we're we in and out less than 45 mins (went around 2pm on a Friday) the food was fresh and delicious, service was also great! I want to say I'm not originally from Florida, so I'm not sure if La Fiesta is supposed to be American-Mexican or authentic Mexican. That being said, I ordered a Burrito Supreme with rice and had it delivered. When I opened the container, it looked good except that the burrito was as flat as a pancake. Normally even authentic Mexican meals have a hefty amount of meat & beans and such in them. This did not. Not quite sure what was in it, some beans, some ground beef, but that was it. The rice "looked Spanish" but it had no taste or zest. And the lettuce, tomatoes and tablespoon of guacamole on the side...well I'm not sure if it was garnish that could be eaten or if I was supposed to resurrect the tortilla and put that in myself. Either way it was a big disappointment. Maybe dining in is a better experience, I don't know. This is definitely not either American-Mexican nor authentic Mexican. So I came here because I read a review that said this place had games. Just to let you know they do not have any games at all. My son was super excited to come here to play mortal combat, Pac-Man, pool and foos ball. I don't know why a person would write a review saying this place has those things but they do not. I decided to stay and try the place out anyways and the first thing I did was pick up the menu off the table and it was super gross! It had what looked like black mold growing all over it and was super sticky. Yuk! I wanted to leave at that point but my son had already ordered a lemonade and I felt weird telling the waitress I was worried that the kitchen looked like the menus. My son got a cheeseburger that came out looking like someone sat on it. He took one bit and didn't want anymore of it. He said it tasted really weird. I got vegetarian fajitas and they were surprisingly good. I got my husband a steak burrito to go and he liked it. This place really needs to clean their menus. It's the first impression people get and honestly it's a disgusting one. It makes me really worried what the kitchen looks like! The restaurant reminded me of sit down Mexican restaurants from the 1980s. That's not necessarily a bad thing. I don't always need a birria taco, and I very much appreciated the shatteringly crisp tortilla chips. I had the dinner plate. It included a cheese and onion enchilada, a beef taco, guacamole salad, and rice and beans. Everything tasted exactly as I expected. There were no surprises here. They have a reasonably priced menu. There are lunch specials, and even though we were there at 3:30, they let my husband order off of the lunch menu. There is a menu for kids that includes non-Mexican food. The place feels a little sticky (again, not dissimilar from my memory of similar restaurants in the 80s), and the bathroom could use an update. read more

We stopped by here on a road trip and it could not have been more perfect! First off, it is right off the freeway (you can see it from the freeway). Second, there is plenty of parking in their private lot. You do have to drive through a parking lot of another business to get there, but not a big deal. We were seated at a nice booth in the back and our server may have been the owner, who was super nice. The chips and salsa came out quickly and the salsa was really good. They kept our bowl full too. The menu is priced very well and has all the Mexican staples. I got the fried taquitos, which were perfectly crispy and had a decent amount of meat inside (chicken, the other choice was ground beef). Although nice looking, the new place is loud. Forget having a conversation. I had the burrito supreme which was supposed to have beans inside but was basically loose ground beef in a tortilla. the cheese on the outside was impossible to find. The lunch price was 13, and was not worth it at all. The food, besides lacking ingredients, wasn't good. Even the chips weren't good (they were over cooked). Before the redo, the food was fine. They shouldn't have changed that. My drink was never refilled and the entire experience was loud, slow, and unsatisfying. Glad I had a water bottle in the truck. I was thirsty. read more

So I was excited to go here and eat after almost closing down and getting remodeled. My kids grew up going there with me over the years. So as far as the building and ambiance it's good enough but the food we had was nothing special and in fact quite dull but the prices were astronomical for really beans, rice, cheese etc. most of there entrees are $22 or more. Seriously? Las Margaritas is so much better and has much more normal prices for this day and age. What is 16$ there was 22 here and the ambiance at Las Margaritas was so much better. La Fiesta now La Fiesta Mexican Grill recently reopened with some changes in ownership/a partner cam in or some such but rather than closing permanently the owners got help, the restaurant was renovated and they've reopened with a new look and new menu. The interior gives kind of a south TX vibe. A little more upscale than it was but still casual dining. The new menu has some carryover from before but has some new additions especially noticable is the various seafood options. I tried the camerons a la diabla ... shrimp in a spicy sauce that came with grilled veggies, Mexican rice, and a piece of garlic bread. There were about 10 medium shrimp in a very nice buttery sauce think seafood boil type. It had a welcomed level of heat the restaurant lacked before. It had a chipotle almost cajun flavor with a nice back heat. I enjoyed it so much I was dipping my veggies and garlic bread into it. Shrimp was cooked great which I appreciate given how easy it is to overcook them. The mixed veggies were red and green peppers broccoli, and carrots. They were cooked well no complaints. The rice is fine but it tastes like a plain yellow rice. I honestly preferred the previous version. This meal is one I'd happily get again. read more
