We ordered several appetizers, Ceviche and Avocado lime tartare. The Ceviche was one on of the best I have ever had. Amazing flavors with the lime juice dressing. I ordered the Pollo al Chipotle. It was tender and perfectly prepared with a creamy chipotle sauce over rice. No alcohol this time, instead lemonade-ice tea. Very good price/value relationship. read more

The food is amazing! So fresh, especially the chicken. I've gotten brunch, lunch, and dinner from here and have LOVED everything!

My daughter and I visited last Saturday and we had a great experience. We tried the ceviche, flautas , fajitas Del Mar and Street tacos (beef, pork and chicken). The flavors were good, large portion sized, and ingredients were fresh. The customer service was great with friendly waitress and the chef was pleasant to speak as we sat across from the kitchen. It is on the pricey side but we were being greedy so you pay extra for big appetites . Will visit again read more

Can honestly say that I will be returning to Pitaya and plan on visiting their other locations with friends and family PRONTO!!! A true 5/5 gold star restaurant in terms of quality of food, menu variety, vibes and aesthetic, price point is valid due to their fresh made meals and cherry on top is their customer service!!! Food was great! The menu says they have carnitas fajitas, which is what I ordered, but the manager explained it more like large pieces of Carnitas that have to be broke up. If I wanted traditional fajitas to get the pork platter. I decided to try it with the carnitas and it was amazing! read more

Not sure who wrote the 5 star reviews but there is no way this place merits those reviews. It is clean with good service but the food is not very good. I had the Burrito Pastor, there was very little meat and the meat was tough to the point of grisly. My wife had the shrimp tacos, the shrimp were cooked well but not much flavor. If you are driven by price above food then this place might be for you because proces are very reasonable. read more

The service here is excellent and it's actually a really comfortable place to eat in terms of music and cleanliness. I'd honestly give this place a 3.5 rating, but my partner really didn't like the chicken tacos as they were rather plain and not particularly seasoned. The Tacos de Birras were decent, but I think the big thing is that I've had better. If a friend asked me to go here again, I would, but I don't think I would go of my own volition. This restaurant was very good. The food was tasty and authentic. The waitress gave some recommendations and I decided on huevos rancheros. I will definitely come back and get that dish again. The restaurant was clean and quiet. It doesn't look as big on the outside but it has a decent amount of seating. The margarita was good and not filled with an excessive amount of ice. Delicious food! Dinner we had tacos de fagita with chicken, queso chorizo as an appetizer and steak quesadillas. My son had pollo chipotle. All were excellent! This new Mexican restaurant next to Donut Shack is really nice! They did an amazing job renovating. The staff and food were all great. We went at lunch time and took advantage of the lunch menu. The Hawaiian fajitas were great and a ton of food. Also worth mentioning that the complimentary chips and salsa were very good. We'll definitely be back and look forward to trying more of the menu. They don't have a liquor license yet, but they said they are expecting it in the next few months. It'll definitely be a good spot to get some margaritas. read more

We love Pitaya! We are lucky to live nearby and the staff has so been friendly to my kids and me each time we visit. The food is delicious (faves: berry ricotta pancakes for brunch, Hawaiian fajitas for lunch) with the space being cute and clean. Can't wait to be back! Tried Pitaya this morning. It was great. The first thing I noted was the home fries were perfect and beautiful ; not burnt like they had been cooked twice. My order was presented beautifully. The lobster omelet was great; perfectly cooked with real lobster. Service was friendly and open. Coffee was good and water tasted fresh and filtered. ( forgot to ask if it was). Over time we have noticed inconsistency in Pitaya's food. Sometimes it is very good, but sometimes it is extremely disappointing. Several times a dish that was very good on one occasion was terrible the next time we had it. The last time we ate there, my wife and I both ordered food that we enjoyed before: my dinner was good and hers was bad. First I chalked it up to the growing pains of a new restaurant, then I thought they might suffer from 'good chef/bad chef' syndrome, but the last experience convinced me that getting a good meal from Pitaya is truly random. I'm amending my 5 star to 3 stars: an average of 5 stars and 1 star. read more

We went to Pitaya this past weekend with our kids and it was SO good!! Not to mention the staff is super nice and kid friendly. We got the shrimp burrito (topped with queso by my request) and they give you fresh pico de gallo on the side to top it and it was seriously delicious. This is a great little place! It is very cute inside and we were greeted warmly and quickly by Karen who sat us at our booth as requested. We quickly received tortilla chips with some of the best salsa I have had at any restaurant. Our table had fajitas, chimichangas, tacos and arrachera which Karen recommended.
