Never do I leave yelp reviews, but I made an account just to share my awful experience with the young girl at this tanning bed. I recently went to Tiki Image in Freehold. The beds were good, but I could not get past the fact at how rude the girl at the front desk was, I believe her name was Brianna. When I walked in, she couldn't even be bothered to take her head out of her phone. I think it would kill her to smile or at least fake an ounce of joy. She made my entire experience unpleasant and I do not plan on going back. Yes, the beds were great, but being "greeted" 45 seconds after I walked in with the most robotic, monotone, unfriendly "hey" I have ever heard in my life, ruined my experience. She proceeded to go back and clean a singular bed for about 5 minutes then take a bathroom break as I waited in the seating area. When she came back and I wanted to buy a packet of lotion, she also rolled her eyes and let out a deep, mocking, lazy sigh. I tried to stay positive and wished her a good day and shockingly got no response. Guess that phone was pretty interesting. Kids these days know nothing about hard work. SMH read more

Reasons I really like this Tiki Tan: It's fairly new, which means the beds are up to date, technology wise. It's very clean. The staff is actually friendly which is hard to come by at tanning salons for some reason. It's never very crowded. Overall, it's a great place to get bronzed and beautiful, even if you are risking getting melanoma. Just don't think about it. read more

Tiki tan is very clean, covid safe. Good hours. Good customer service. Associates are always very nice and helpful.

All I have to say is I got a spray tan done here last night and was instructed to not get wet for 4-6 hours, however men make me cry. Fast forward 4-6 hours of zero adherence to this dryness rule and the tan is still PERFECT 10/10 Also the girls who work here are super sweet read more

Came here for an airbrush tan yesterday. I was very happy with the results. It was my first time trying them out. The girl who sprayed me was friendly and made sure I was happy with the result. The color was natural looking, and I wasn't too orange or fake looking either. The smell was not as offensive as other places. I would come back and try them in the future. read more

So much has changed in a year. I went back here today and really didn't appreciate being lied to. I told the front desk I wanted to use the Kiwi King by name the girl told me it was room 6. When I came to room 6 there was no Kiwi King but Blueberry Blues, a spaghetti lamp bed with HP facial. I went out to talk to the girl who then informed me this bed was much better and showed me how to use it. Needless to say if I knew beforehand I would have walked out and not paid for a session, I prefer HP beds. Used it for 10 minutes, hated it, told the girl. Front desk girl had an attitude and told me if I want HP beds there are other places I can go. Will take her advice and go! read more

I went in there for the 1st time Oct. 29th and I was greeted by a teenager that was on a personal call. I hadn't been tanning in awhile so I was pretty pale. She seemed put off to end her personal call in order to help me. First of all, she did not have me sign a waiver. She also did not ask me any questions regarding how long I should tan, if I needed any lotion or eye wear. She charged me $18 for one session in the 2nd level down, and again she seemed annoyed when I asked her to show me how the bed worked and wasn't very helpful with the packages that they sell there. (Which I'm sure the owner wouldn't like the fact that he is paying employees that aren't interested in making money for the business) I burned! Badly!!! And now they are liable for my medical care, since i never signed off on anything. If I was to pursue anything, the business would be in a troublesome situation. I just wanted my money back and to know that the employee was (hopefully fired) if not repremanded. If you can't hire good help, then don't expect to have a well run business. Horrible service!! I went tonight for a spray tan, and the two girls at the front were sooo nice and Katie was absolutely fabulous and a joy to be around during my spray tan! She did an incredible job and I am so happy to say I will definitely be going back! Super clean and great staff! read more

I've been going here for the body wraps and tanning and I love it. The tanning consultants are super friendly and helpful and the salon is super clean. I love that the beds are strong and have good air conditioning too. I just wish there was one closer to me so I can come here more often. read more
