This is an awesome place for summer drinks. Brought to you by the owner's of Lee's Pint and Shell, Tiki Lee's provides the same great atmosphere with some great views. It is a bit of a trek from the city but they've done a great job with making sure people don't get lost on the way in. Look for the signs and the attendants guiding you in the right direction and you won't go wrong. It gets very dark on the road once the sun sets so I would also advise a Lyft or Uber to keep everyone safe. Once you arrive and check this place out, it's hard to deny how beautiful the space is! There are boat slips right off the dock, a (very) small area for kids to swim, and two large bar areas so that you never have to wait too long to order a drink. There is tons of outdoor seating with Red Stripe branded umbrellas (from the looks of this and the menu, they're going with a Jamaican-like theme). The food: simple bar/beach food. The kind of food that gets you through a day and/or night of drinking. You can order from the bar or a bartender or walk directly up to the kitchen hut to the right of the compound as you enter. They must have menu items ready made because the turn around is very quick once you order. The truffle salt fries were great and went great with a few crushes. In my opinion, what makes this place stand out from similar concepts (namely the Sandlot) is the ownership. You can tell there is a lot more effort put into the organization of the space and a drink is never more than a few minutes away. read more

This is such a lovely place to go and enjoy a drink by the water and the warm sun, you feel like you're right at the ocean. If you go on the right day with a nice breeze you may never want to leave! This review is based on my experience going twice in the same week so I could be as accurate as possible! 4 stars because they are pretty expensive (food and drinks) and because of the 18% mandatory gratuity; I always tip but didn't realize it was included in the bill so $16 worth of drinks ended up around $21 which I then left a cash tip on top as well. I have never been to a place that has a mandatory gratuity just on drinks, at the bar, with a small party (2 people). The server only let us know about the mandatory gratuity the second time we had visited but had already figured that out after the first trip. 3 stars because I also was not a fan of the music, I know this isn't quite a traditional tiki bar but I wasn't a fan of "flip flop" country music blasting me over to the water in order to enjoy a conversation with my partner. Theirs got to be maybe some vintage rocksteady, ska, or calypso for more sunny day vibe and a little less country margaritaville. I was also bummed that their is now a VIP area. Went to Tiki Lees tonight and everything was perfect. Jordan and Mallory served us. Both were very attentive and friendly. I wanted to especially thank Jordan for his patience. We had a bunch of kids and he let us have extra tables and was very kind. Ambiance and food was great. I highly recommended the jerk chicken and crab cake. Kids loved the pizza, burger and fries. Called in to Tiki Lees I've been there multiple times. This time I wanted to go to the upper pool with my friends all over 21+ ready to reserve or whatever need be to eat drink and have a good time at my favorite place. But was told that the pool wasn't accessible to people that don't own a boat membership. I believe this policy has hidden prejudice and discriminatory motives behind it. Keeping people who don't have the luxury of a boat from enjoying the facilities. First time here or July 10, 2022. Only good thing about this place is that it's on the water. Here's my review: 1. Hostess sat us by the water at the high top tables for two. We waited 20 mins before walking back to the hostess to ask if we had a server. The server came and nicely told us it's not her section. Ok cool, whatever. 2. Asked the server about the Tiki Skewer(S) and how many came with it, she said it was 2 or 3. The food came and it had ONE skewer (no S). I asked her about it, and she said she'd bring me another skewer since it's supposed to be two (AS PICTURED ON THEIR WEBSITE, which I uploaded). Menu says skewer(S) but you only get one. And the skewer was cold. She came back and said the manger said it only comes with one, which again is different from what she said and is on their website. 3. They charge 18% gratuity to all checks. My tip would be 0% otherwise, due to slow terrible service, false advertisement. 4. Silverware was dirty af, legit dirty. 5. I went to Tiki Lees on 7/10/22 on a Sunday. Place was slow not busy. They had a $5 cover charge to get in which I found odd on a slow Sunday. Service was terrible. Our waitress could care less about checking on us because the gratuity is automatically included in the bill. After waiting like 30 mins I went to the bar myself to get a drink. Food was decent just be prepared to wait an hour for it even if it is slow. The view is nice and with better service they could easily be 4-5 stars. A lot of the staff just sits around while customers have to track down their assigned servers whom are no where to be found. Management needs to do better for a place like this. Terrible! We are boaters and go to Tiki Lees several times during the Summer. Usually service is Ok and food is good. A little overpriced but the atmosphere is worth it. However, Mother's Day was a completely different story. They had advertised a Mother's Dat brunch menu, so we took the boat out and decided to give it a try. Terrible decision! There was an hour wait for a table. Completely understandable because it was Mother's Day. We thought it was weird that half of the tables were empty but assumed that they were held for reservations. We found a table at the bar and ordered drinks. The server gave us menus. She then came back, took the menus away and told us that the kitchen was closed for 2 hours. No idea what was going on but I have definitely seen it busier in the summer. We decided to get another round of drinks and leave. Server/bartender never checked on us, so we went to the bar to order ourselves. Waited about 5 minutes, bartender took order and then didn't return for another 10 minutes without drinks. We then just asked to close out so that we could leave. She again forgot about us for another 10 minutes. Finally, we grabbed another bartender who closed us out. They don't care about bad service because the tip is always added to your bill no matter what. No apology for forgetting us three times. I commented on their Facebook page under the Mothers Day brunch post to not bother coming because you weren't able to get food. That comment was quickly removed. It was a total waste of the day and I felt so sorry for the large parties who brought Mom/Grandmom out to celebrate. read more

I do very much enjoy the atmosphere, it makes you feel like your on vacation! Although a few issues that I have had each time that I've been is with the bathroom uncleanliness...ABSOLUTELY GROSS!! I try to hold in my pee but that usually does not go well! The bathroom sinks are sooi gross that you do not want to even wash your hands....They Do Not have any hand sanitizing stations! The wait staff has always been great but I think they have their hands tied with not having the correct tools and setup to allow them to be efficient. I've always heard good things about the crab pretzel...it was NOT good! It was Very salty and fishy tasting. I think alot of people go for the atmosphere and I do give them a 10 for that but if you have to figure cleanliness in with that and since the bathrooms are something that everyone has to normally use when out for the evening then with this figured in along with No way to safely clean your hands I would have to give a 2STAR rating! read more

thought I'd bring my family up on a midday Sunday afternoon to Tiki Lee's on the water. At the door it was astounded to payout $40 or $10 a head for cover when the lot was nowhere near packed. The service once inside was non existent and on top of the that, Tiki Lee's philosophy is egalitarian equalism or communism....that is l, gratuity is added whether you like it or not, or if your service sucked. Owner only cares about making money and not how his actions affect the community. I live in the community next to tiki lees where their Friday night and weekend events continuously interferes with our residents getting to our homes. Drunks walking down the street, customers parking on our roads. Absolutely ridiculous. He puts on community events for a huge community nearby but doesn't offer anything to tbd community that's most impacted by his business. Sad. read more

My friends and I were looking for a nice outdoor bar and restaurant to go to, so we chose Tiki. It was a gorgeous summer day and pretty packed when we arrived there around 3:45 pm, but we were able to be seated. There was a live band that sang a bunch of popular rock songs and they kept the customers really entertained. That was my favorite part of the eating experience. I ordered the tiki nachos and the buffalo chicken wrap. The tiki nachos were pretty good but I would've preferred a different type of nacho, slightly crunchier. The nachos tasted somewhat stale to me. The buffalo chicken wrap was absolutely delicious. The chicken was crispy and perfectly seasoned with enough blue cheese dressing. It was my favorite meal out of the two items I ordered. I had a great experience at this bar and my waiter was really nice and friendly. I have no complaints and will return again one day. read more

The only reason that this restaurant received one star is because yelp requires me to. My coworkers and I decided to venture out for lunch today, tried this new place. The service? Horrible. The food? Horrible. The atmosphere? Decent. Half of my chicken tenders fell apart as if they were undercooked and the fries tasted like rubber. The serves here only serve you drinks. You have to walk across the property, order your own food, and wait for your own food. They butchered one of our orders. So what did I have to do? Walk BACK to the pavilion. By the time I got back, my food was barely warm. We came to scope out the venue and menu for a happy hour company event... definitely not happening here. I don't know why this place has so many bad reviews. I came here and had a surprisingly great time. The food wasn't piping hot but it was good! The prices were what you expect for a bar with nice scenery so I wasn't really surprised by the up-charges, fees, etc. I feel like it's very spacious especially for it to be so scenic from most angles. The drinks were strong enough and tasty if you know what to order. I wasn't a fan of the crushes because they had so much fruit pulp but the pina colada was delicious. Food= Great! Drinks= Good if you get the right one you ordered (: Venue= Beautiful location. Lots of sand and tables along the water and near the bar. Plenty of restrooms at this location as well. Staff= Our waiter really did not make much eye contact, always looking elsewhere. We did not see much of him the whole time and had to flag him down to get our check to leave. Crowd= It was packed but the people were very loud and ignoring their children who were running around through the sand, to the play ground, and back to around the tables. My friends that I went with said this was a typical night here but wanted to bring me since I had not been. I wouldn't personally go back. FYI, There is a pool here that seems to be a newer addition to the establishment so that is cool if youre looking for a pool bar on the beach. Last thing to note was how HORRIBLE parking is. This is our new favorite place in Baltimore! Water views, happy hour, dog friendly, outside seating, free parking, sand, string lights, palm trees, and great tunes. What else could you ask for? We walked right in during the busy Friday night happy hour around 5:30pm. We hit the bar and quickly grabbed some beers, then sat ourselves outside at a high-top by the water. Our puppy had a great time meeting friendly customers and wait staff, and of course playing in the sand. The happy hour deals are great ($1 natty boh's and $0.50 oysters from M-F from 4-7pm). The oysters were delicious & the beers were cold. We didn't have to wait long for anything since there were a lot of servers working. The place is huge too so it can accommodate large groups. They have a large parking lot which is nice and a dock in case you want to come by boat too. I'm sure this place is going to be packed on Fri & Sat nights soon! Awful customer service! We ordered Old Bay wings and they were way too salty (like triple coated with Old Bay) They were so salty that I took one bite and I couldn't eat anymore. I thought it's fine, I will just tell the waitress and she will replace them. Then I asked our server if we can exchange them and she said no, this is how "American" bars make Old Bay wings. Which was uncalled for, just because our group were all Asians. I have been working in the nightlife and sport bars for over 10 years and I know how Old Bay wings tastes like! That being said, the server needs to learn that when the customer has a concern, it is their job to HELP the customer. Not be condescending. 2 stars just for the atmosphere and the manager. He gave recommendations on the food which my group really appreciate. He'd recommend the crab cake and it was delicious! I will start out by saying this place is in an awesome location and has potential to be a great establishment, but it's currently a huge mess. When we arrived, we went to the hostess stand right away to put our name down for a table. The young girls told us it would be a hour, plus wait. We totally understood - it was a beautiful summer, Saturday and we didn't mind grabbing some drinks while we waited. We put our name down and the girls told us they would give us a call. After that, we proceeded to go to the bar for a drink and find a place to stand. Well, it's safe to say customers safety is not a priority here and a global pandemic wasn't even a thought at this place. There were NO social distancing practices in place, I didn't see any workers wiping down tables or sanitizing- it was a free for all. I understand I chose to come out and if I didn't feel comfortable I should have stayed home. But, I had confidence that this place would have procedures in place to make sure customers were safe, and boy was I wrong. After waiting for a hour, we checked with the hostess to see where our names were on the list. They told us there were 10 people in front of us. We checked again at our 2 hour mark, and they told us the same thing, that 10 people were ahead of us!! When questioned why we haven't moved on the list, they just told us people weren't answering calls that their table is ready. As we stood around waiting, we noticed groups of people just self-seating themselves at tables and not being seated by a hostess. There was a section of 4 free tables where we were standing and we decided to take a seat. A waiter greeted us almost immediately and started taking our drink orders. I will say, the waiter was the best part of our experience. I could see he was really trying with every table, he was very kind and I think he was the only employee wearing a mask. I wish we would have gotten his name because he was delightful. During the hour, plus that we were seated, we still didn't receive a call that our table was ready. On our way out, we decided to checkin at the hostess stand to see what happened to our table. We told them we put our name in almost 4 hours ago and never received a call. The 4 young girls that were working the stand looked back through all of these papers to find our name. Well everyone's name on that list was crossed off, but ours. They clearly skipped right over us. The girls just looked at each other and giggled. No acknowledgement, No apology. Very immature girls that clearly don't care about helping customers. It was a complete embarrassment and I don't understand how they have jobs in the service industry. It wasn't worth a fight to us at this point, so we left without saying another word to them. Now the parking lot situation could probably get it's own, separate post because it's such mess. When our friend parked when we first arrived, an employee directed him to a lot closest to the front. When we came out to leave, there was a truck blocking the entrance. Our friend got out to find someone to move the truck. She found a security man and he asked her if she was an employee and when she said no, he said we shouldn't be parked there. She explained that someone directed us to park there when we arrived, and there weren't any signs stating it was employee parking. After a few minutes, he moved his truck like it was the most ridiculous thing he's ever been asked to do. Overall, an awful experience with rude employees and mediocre food and drinks. After this experience and seeing some of the other posts about this place, it's safe to say I'm not going to be giving them by business again anytime soon. read more
