Food is always amazing, drinks too. Music inside can be incredible too loud it hold a conversation. Most of the wait staff are professional and attentive to the whole table, not just the men. Had several issues with one waitress in particular who would let everyone else's drink go empty but my husband. She knows she was wrong and now ignores the females all together at the table. We make sure not to get her anymore. Horrible customer services, being rude to female guests.... Everything else is A+

My last day in Baltimore I wanted to try this spot after having it recommended to me. I'm really happy it wasn't super hot or raining because they had live music which I'm not a fan of. I like to talk and joke when I'm eating with friends and family, the music was super loud ( Yes, I'm old AF ) so I'm glad we could sit outside. Everyone from the hostess, to the waitresses were all very friendly. Our waitress Tiffany was an absolute Gem. She had a great sense of humor and even tolerated my constant jokes and smart comments. :) Everyone enjoyed their food and we are everything that was served. I think there was like 3 fried pickles left and that was it. The food was great!!! I ordered one of the Fathers Day drink specials, which I thought tasted good, but could have used another shot or two of Tequila. Then again, I think a shot of Tequila needs more Tequila in it. :)

I heard about crushes in buckets and I was immediately sold. Came here for the first time and it was such a fun environment, somehow we happened to watch Preakness, an Orioles game, and Sumo wrestling all in one sitting. The Cran-Orange and Sour Berry crushes were my favorite and I shared the Nachos Grande + crab dip. I fear coming back for happy hour will be extremely necessary.

a trip to the hard yacht cafe isn't complete without getting one of the giant crushes and the ahi tuna nachos! the service there was pretty good except i was slightly confused on the rules of what to wear. while eating outside on the wooden dock on a hot day and busy day, nothing was said when i was wearing my shorts and bathing suit top but on a warm day when there was no one there, a guy told its not allowed while i was sitting over on the side picnic tables. other than that i really liked the food and atmosphere there!

Tonight a group of my coworkers and I joined together to have a good time out. One of my colleagues chose this location and we all agreed. It was an amazing time. We had a party of about 12 and we were together in the back behind the musical talent for the evening. The food was delicious and very filling. The service staff was very friendly and polite. I have now found a new place to go for lunch and dinner.

Me and my buddy have a great time at the Hard yacht

Good food, great service. Staff very friendly. Music is always good. The place to watch the baltimore games wether baseball or football. They have great breakfast too.

This place was so good, we ate here 2 nights in a row. The shrimp salad wrap was surprisingly good, the perfect amount of seasoning, the shrimp were plump and fresh and all wrapped perfectly. I would actually skip the conch fritters, I tried them because it looked like a novelty here, but it wasn't my style. The Baltimore Bomb dessert wasn't really my style either, for some reason it tasted like coconut to me, but I had to try it since it was a "local specialty." The steak in the steak quesadilla was really tender and flavorful. They were generous with the steak in the quesadilla as well. The shrimp taco was delicious also, the waitress (I think her name was Miranda) also put all the sauces and toppings on the side for my picky child. Service was great, Miranda was attentive and recognized us the second night we stopped by. They have live music and both nights sounded great, the singer/band was really upbeat and added some liveliness to the night. Glad I was able to find this place through Harvest Hosts while traveling.

I asked my husband to pick someplace for lunch we had never been before. That's how we arrived here, plus looking up the reviews. This restaurant is on the waterfront of Bear Creek, and wow! What a beautiful view on this crisp, clear day. Surrounded by yachts and boats still shrinkwrapped. There is plenty of outside dining on the pier Inside, it looks like a dive. I'm just thinking back to some old haunts from early college days. Lots of autographed dollar bills and all kinds of collectibles, come in and see for yourself. The music is soft rock and perfect for this type of bar. You know... Jimmy Buffet and so on. The menu is double-sided, straightforward, and not overly busy. I asked if there were daily specials, yes. Today was a NY strip steak with 2 sides. Come to find out they are listed by the entrance by the bar. My husband was true to form with his well done (yes, they will char it for you) hamburger. Add onion rings for $2. I had the Fisherman's Grilled Cheese, which is toasted bread, Monterey jack cheese, lumps of crab meat, and pieces of decently sized pieces of shrimp. It was really good! Just moist enough and not greasy. Added onion rings, too. We were too full for dessert. They have a card on the table top with them. Parking was a bit limited, and I can just imagine this is a hopping place in the summer with all the drink specials and the sailing patrons. Handicapped spots are available.

What a wonderful place. It's way off the beaten path in the Dundalk area of Baltimore, but if you can make your way out here via Uber or other means, check it out. Service was terrific, bartenders were friendly and great, drinks were strong and prices were reasonable, all on a great waterfront atmosphere. Next time I'm here - and there will be a next time, give me a nice orange crush with some Jimmy Buffet playing.

First off, check in. You'll get a 10% discount which HYC will honor. After learning that our favorite on-the-water spot, the River Watch, had been bought and transformed into something more yuppie-sounding, which is often an unwelcoming vibe for me, we've been on the lookout for a new waterfront luncheon place. We took my mom to HYC this week. This was her first time, but Jeremy and I have been once before, in the winter, to see some band play. That experience was fine, but yesterday's lunch was a real winner. My mom hadn't even ordered yet and was already talking about what she was going to try next time. We arrived around 1:30 and it was packed out on the deck. I mean, it was 85 degrees and absolutely gorgeous on the water, so it's no surprise that the only tables that were empty were the ones in the sunshine. By 2 it had cleared out quite a bit, so I think next time we'll come a tiny bit later so we won't need to sit in the sun. The appetizer menu is amazing, so that's all I ordered. I got the HYC eggrolls, which are filled with crab dip and some shrimp. It comes with a sweet thai chili sauce. They are delightful. I also got the conch fritters, but weren't so pleased with those. I boxed them up and sent them home with my mom. No harm, no foul. I like trying new things and sometimes it doesn't work out. Such is life. My boyfriend got the clam strips, which were so fat and delicious that they could not have possibly come out of a box. They came with cocktail sauce. And he had a lb of snowcrab legs, with butter, which he really seemed to enjoy. Personally I don't see the point in eating crab without Old Bay, but it is fun to watch others wrestle with those long legs. My mom had the Shrimp Melt - a sandwich with provolone and mozzarella and bruschetta. It was a decent sandwich. She enjoyed it. Next time I'm totally getting the fried pickles and a pulled pork sandwich. See? Next time. Such a great atmosphere. Would recommend

Ask the Community - The Hard Yacht Cafe

Is there a outdoor seating, and if so, are well-mannered pets allowed? (Edit: Yes, they are.)

Hi! Yes there is outdoor seating...I'm not sure about pets I didn't see any during my visit. You may want to give them a ring and inquire.

They shift their menu a lot which I think is really nice for the community. The vibes are right and the bartenders were nice and chatty, the only reason this place isnt "my" place and doesn't get 5 stars is because they dont make a very good dirty martini and thats like base level. I asked for it extra dirty and I could barely taste the olive brine, I actually had to have him pour more in front of me lol. Also service was a little slow. So for grabbing a quick drink with the girls sure, but staying as a regular nah.

At around 5:15, the event coordinator , Alberto, pulled me aside and told me they would need to charge me extra because I supposedly had "more people than contracted." I explained that I did not--and even offered to show him my guest list. He then changed his statement and said both he and the staff had counted 44 guests. I pointed out that our contract was for up to 50, so we were actually under the limit. Instead of acknowledging this, he shifted to claim our time slot was only for four hours, implying we had gone over. But the contract clearly stated 1:30-5:30, and we were cleaned up and out by that time. At no point did he apologize for either of the accusations, which made the ending of our event unnecessarily stressful. It also left me questioning whether we actually received what we paid for. If Alberto thought that I was only supposed to have 40 people, did they only prepare food for 40 instead of the 50 we paid for? To make matters worse, this was a cash bar--so even if we had gone over in guest count, the venue would've only stood to profit more, not lose anything, since no extra food was served and additional guests would have only been purchasing their own drinks. Overall, the way this was handled felt unprofessional, unfriendly, and a bit shady. It's a shame, because the space itself had potential--but the management's attitude and lack of accountability left a bad impression.

The cocktail menu was a good size with lots of fun and experimental flavor combos. I appreciate the creativity! We each got 2 cocktails. One of mine had an edible flower in it and it was delish. My fiancé got the espresso martini as did just about every other customer! One suggestion for the team is to put photos of the drink menu pinned on Instagram! Keep in mind these are all custom made by your bartender for each drink so please be patient, it is worth the wait. The food menu is small but everything we had was tasty and filling. All the food is like snacky Indian food - with lots of masala spices. We got the sampler and a chicken tikka pizza. I'd recommend both! The wings were the best part for us. That menu is on their insta. It's definitely not a full fancy meal but with the cocktails, for me it was plenty.
