I know excellent service when I experience it. This review is for the exceptional service I received when using Atlantic Marble & Granite, in Falmouth. We were doing a very needed remolding of our kitchen after over 35 years of use. During the remodel, I contacted three countertop companies and visited each one of them. From the three quotes, I received the best price from Atlantic. Not only did I get follow up with them on their quote, one of the companies never followed up with us at all. That made my decision easier. We met with a very lovely person at Atlantic, Bella, short for Izabella, and she was amazing from the start. She was knowledgeable and very patient as she helped us pick out the perfect color. We gave her all of the measurements and she took it from there. Within just a short time, they were out doing a template and a week later, the counter was ready to be installed. Unfortunately, because of issues with our cabinet makers, they had to hold it for 3 weeks. No problem they said. When the time came, they came out installing our new quartz counter. They were very courteous and professional. I was amazed the counter fit like a glove, especially where it had a jog in it and they were able manufacture it with no seam. We were very happy and the new counter looks amazing. If you ever need any type of marble, granite, quartz work, I would strongly advise you to check them out. I'm sure you will not be disappointed. Bill visited our home to measure and go over the different options for replacing our countertops and sink. He was able to provide me with a quote that day which outlined the work that would be done. We were able to visit the showroom that weekend as they have convenient hours on Saturday. We were impressed by the number of slabs they had available in the showroom for us to look at. We instantly fell in love with one pattern of granite and Bill and crew worked with us to ensure that we received that specific slab and scheduled our installation. The day of, the two men (I feel terrible that I can't remember their names) were amazing! They were so friendly, walked us through the installation process and cleaned up along the way so my house wasn't covered in dust. In addition to the fabulous countertops, we received a large, high quality sink that put our last sink to shame. They also gave us the sink protector grates, a basket drain and a 'hot plate' from the remaining granite. We were not expecting these bonuses and are so happy with them! I noticed writing on slab side and was told those stones slabs were already sold and unavailable. So when it came down to it I may have had 4 to choose from. Then when I made a choice they did a bait and switch on me. From start to finish this purchase was a disaster. If I hadn't given a deposit I would have ran. Ive had three different projects involving bathrooms and kitchens. I had previously dealt with Phil (they were Northeast Marble at the time). These prior projects were good experiences. But without being aware I was now dealing with a different business. Although nothing was ever stated until I went back to their location some days later. Now a temporary banner hung on the building and Clay said there was a change in management. Yet multiple issues starting immediately. First with the computer not working, (for a copy of agreement), the truck (broke down on way for installation), incorrect measurement of countertop (I don't believe clay could read a tape measure) and excuse after excuse. When I called and texted I spoke to clay on numerous occasions. He verbally threatened me and then insulted me as if I was taking advantage of him. After much communication they gave me a $150 concession for all the issues up to that point of installation. A month after installation I now have a stress crack that can't be repaired and I need to get a new countertop. Don't walk.... RUN from this business! Most of their reviews are from years ago. But several have had similar situation as I have had. BUYER BEWARE!!!
