I had an amazing experience with TDC. I would recommend them highly. They did our bathroom 10 years ago so we had them do our second bathroom 6 months ago. We just had them complete our complete home flooring last month. The bathrooms where Marble and the rest of the house was 48" x 48" white porcelain. John took time planning the layout. 80% of the job is installation. They really took their time doing a quality install. The house was completed in 2 weeks including demo with 1800 square foot house. If there was a question or issue they guys would stop and The owner john would come by or he would call me. TDC does not advertise. I ordered 65 square feet of an expensive tile for my main bathroom reno, stating it was over my budget and I'd have to economize elsewhere in my other choices. I ordered the 65 square feet my contractor and tile subcontractor had measured (twice). Partway through the job we found that 46 square feet were missing. The story Tile Discount Center gave was that they ordered 65 sheets instead of square feet and charged me an additional $1,000. Since the first tiles were already down I had to get the rest. There is no way the measurement was for 65 sheets of tile because when the measurement was taken we didn't know which tile I'd choose. Each choice of tile comes in a different sheet size (I had 5 other styles of tile for the full renovation, each of which was on different sheet sizes), so I never ordered sheets of tile--I wouldn't have known how many. This was obviously a mistake of Tile Discount Center. Unfortunately I had overpaid my contractor (Jason Elkin of Built Rite Designs) who insisted on paying the money from those funds though I insisted repeatedly he not do that. But he said he had a "business relationship" with Tile Discount Center and did not want to ruin it...at my expense. Two of the other tiles I ordered from this business also came up short, but only by a small amount. But it seems a consistent "shortage" happens from them. I also ordered from Floor and Decor, and that order came in at the exact amount I ordered, so this doesn't "happen everywhere." I would advise steering clear of Tile Discount Center by all means. TDC just finished laying my new balcony tile. The workmen were not only exceptionally courteous but their work was top notch. They kept the work area clean and cleaned up after themselves. I recommend them VERY HIGHLY. The office staff was also really helpful and kind and never got angry with my many questions. You should all use TDC. read more

Installed my luxury vinyl wood flooring in 2021 - popped up in 2022. Per product specs it was too moist and required an underlayment. Turns out this applies to 99.9% of homes in Florida. They offered pennies on the dollar and would not work with me and stated they didn't have to and were being nice for responding to me our my counsels letters. Incompetent service read more

TDC's selection, pricing and hands on help can not be beat. I selected tile and flooring for my entire home and I can not be happier with the quality and pricing. We used TDC in the complete renovation of our 1200 sq ft condo unit, ie; redoing all floors including ceramic tiling of two bathrooms and a Lanai. The creative and technical input from the staff was unparalleled. We spoke to Maria by appointment, and she dedicated over an hour discussing the selection from the standpoint of design and durability. It was as if receiving a master class on the use and care of materials as no other place would even bother to broach in more than just a superficial way. Two years ago I bought $20,000.00 worth of tile from Maria. She was great in picking out tile for me, and had a wonderful selection. When asked she also offered her nephew's name as a great contractor for our home, not the installer, but a contractor for the rest of the complete condo renovation we were doing. (That's another story in another bad review!) We bought tile for two bathrooms, kitchen and flooring for a 12,000 sq. ft. condo. The installer's did a horrible job in all the installation. The floors are so uneven I hate to walk barefoot, don't even try to move a piece of furniture it's so uneven. The grout is awful, missing or too much or not enough. Chipped tiles that should not have been used. The kitchen wall tile, to their credit, they replaced. It was so badly installed it was unbelievable. The new kitchen tile was also badly installed. The two bathrooms were so bad I cried when I saw them. They did try to fix them, made them some what better but still a terrible job. The whole job of installation was a huge cluster fu@k. I wish I had never walked in their door. I have many, many pictures for anyone who wants to see. read more

My experience with TDC has not been a positive one, and I won't be doing business with them again. Sure, they have a good selection and a decent pricing on tiles, which is why we ordered tiles through them. However, my problems didn't start until after the tile was ordered. I'm remodeling a bathroom, and they gave me the wrong tiles, not once, not twice, not 3 times, but on 4 different occasions!!! Their quality control process clearly needs work. If you're getting tiles delivered from a supplier, upon delivery, you should open a box, make SURE the tile is what was ordered before releasing to a customer. They clearly don't do that. The 1st time, I had my contractor pick up the tiles - when we opened the boxes at my house it was clearly not the right tile (it was beige and we ordered gray). That's a 1-2 week delay. After that delay, our order came in, I went to check it - wrong tiles again! Eventually we finally get the right tiles. Later on, it was determined that our designer under-ordered, so we had to order some additional tile. The tiles come in - SAME ISSUE, wrong color again!!!! More delays. Eventually, after discussing this with Maria at TDC, I found out that there was a mixup in their database that caused us to keep getting the wrong tile delivered. But then, EVEN AFTER that was fixed, we had to order a small additional amount - this next tile delivery was incorrect as well. At that point, it had been so long since the 1st order that their supplier didn't carry the exact same tile - but no one told me that - had to find out on my own. So it was almost like they were trying to pull a fast one, and swindle us. So I tried to resolve the issue with Maria so that we could get the tiles to finish our bathroom. But eventually my messages went unreturned - likely because there was nothing left they could do, and they weren't going to give me my money back. Luckily, I was able to find the RIGHT tiles at a competitor down the street. JC Floors Plus will be getting my business from now on. I've ordered tile through them multiple times and haven't had ANY issues. They even beat TDC's price. TDC never offered an apology, or even a price discount for all of their mistakes. Buyer beware - Don't be fooled by their selection. The issues only start after they have your money. read more

I would strongly recommend using any other tile company even a cowboy contractor as oppose to using these guys. Here are the reasons why. When I first went into their showroom the sales person was extremely pleasant and knowledgeable little did I know she was one of the owners. So in saying that here is a list of my complaints. 1 I especially asked for English speaking contractors to work in my house so I could communicate with them what I got was a PORTUGUSE speaking crew with broken English 2 The job consisted of tiling one bathroom and bedroom, it took them nearly two weeks . They would show up anywhere between 8.30am and 10.30am, some days I would only have one man working and from the cut of his work he was a laborer 3 They fully demoed the bathroom and told me I had to fix the holes in the drywall that they made, that it was not their job, they took down closet doors and when they were finished tiling that area they put the doors back on at an angle and one door they did not bother with at all too hang , when I said something basically I was told it was not their job 4 I asked for them to mask off the area from the rest of the house for obvious reasons I even gave them the plastic they did it for one day with an attitude, with the result dust was all over the house. 5 They made a mess at the side of my house were they mixed all the grout and cut tiles. When they were finished the job the clean up was nonexistent. 6 I saved the best for last, when I called the tile store early in the morning too find out were the workers were I was told not to worry about it .Maria the sales person denied that I asked for English speaking workers. When I called to asked a question Maria would tell she would call me back, not once did she ever call me back. I tried to communicate with her maybe 6 to 8 times. I would call her up and confront her and she would tell she just made this call that I made to her, she was so infuriating. The bottom line is, they will promise you anything be extremely nice to you to get the job and your money from that point on your fucked???????????????????? read more

They had a great selection of tile. We picked something that we loved and the price was terrific. If we would have stopped there....it would have been better. They sent men to our house to install tile in all four bedrooms. It was italian ceramic, wood plank tile. The men did not do a good job on the installation of the first 2 bedrooms. They worked quickly and sloppy and managed to get cement all throughout my house, including ruining my entry way rug. These men didn't even turn a light on in the rooms, so i wasn't so surprised at the quality of the work. How can you lay tile when you can't see. The grout color didn't match the tile. I was unhappy, so we agreed to another installer for the remaining bedroom. He was an older man and tried his hardest to do a good job. With that said, the tile is uneven, so when I go to slide my vanity chair, it always catches on the tile. As well as near the dressers. When they left the job, i was promised that the grout issue would be fixed. It took a call to my cc company to persuade them to fix the grout issue. It's not perfect now, but i can live with it. I just think that if you spend almost $7000 for tile and installation, you should walk away happy. The two sisters that run this place are not pleasant and hard to work with. I would NOT RECOMMEND them to anyone. Matter of fact, i had bought 10 boxes of extra tile for my bathrooms and when I contacted another installer, he said that that wasn't enough tile. So I contacted them, asking to buy 2 more boxes.....and they never got back to me. All in all....go somewhere else. This was a very very bad experience. read more

Terrible terrible company! I do not recommend. First the tiles meant for the showers were used on the floors. All the work had to be redone. Workman were not supervised nor did they speak English came and went as they pleased sometimes they didn't show up at all. Their workmanship is awful. Grout is crumbling, tiles are chipped and broken tiles were installed in the bathroom. They did not seal a marble floor, not only do they not care they are stupid and don't get me started on their attitude. All in all ... run - do not walk away from this company. read more
