By not doing basic measurements of the renovated room, they supplied us with less tile than needed, delaying the project several weeks. The tile was "handmade" and with literal tire tracks; while drying, apparently a vehicle ran over it. When asked why this was supplied to the installer (who installed the unsightly tiles), the owner replied that the tiles are "expected to have imperfections." Shame on me for trusting this company to supply an average amount and average quality of tile. read more

They continued to follow up with phone calls, not in an annoying way. When they didn't have a sample we wanted to see, they drove to a business down the street and brought it back to us. Wow! Talk about going the extra mile. There were delays with our countertops. Not their fault but their middle company that was supplying the quartz was also very kind and connected with Tile Liquidators about the delays and finding us another option. I wish I'd read a couple of these reviews before I shopped at Tile Liquidators in Sacramento. Nick got nothing right about our tile order, except the actual tile. It didn't ship until after the date we needed it, and when it did ship, it went to the wrong location. He didn't order the grout when he should have. He didn't call when the tile arrived as he said he would, even though I'd called him earlier in the day and asked about it. Nick only exacerbated the situation by being completely condescending. I've got quite a lot more remodeling to be done in our old home, but I will never shop there again. Nick requested that I leave a review, so that's what I'm doing. read more

I went to this location because I was just at a big tile shop store very close and their customer service was dismal. I won't name them because I didn't do business with them. So by accident I tried Tile Liquidators. The tile I needed to match was 5 years old and I didn't think I would find a match but hoping for something close. Like most people, when shopping for flooring my husband and I were searching for the best quality product that would fit within our budget. Having spent a full day going store to store without success, I was ready to call it quits but my husband talked me into visiting one last store, Tile Liquidators in South Sacramento (just off Stockton Blvd). Upon entering the store we were greeted by Victory, the store owner. Victory was nothing less than amazing! Not only did she help us choose the perfect vinyl plank flooring, but she also went out of her way to get us the best price. When my husband told Victory that he was planning to install the floor himself, she really took an interest in our project, answering all of our questions and educating us along the way. Victory even made several calls on our behalf to help coordinate aspects of our project that did not benefit her, we were pretty blown away. It seems that post-COVID it is really hard to find a business that goes the extra mile for its customer, but Victory did that and we are so grateful. After going to many different tile stores I ended up here from a family recommendation. When I arrived (on a Saturday at the beginning of august) I looked at the tile and Jared was very friendly and helpful. He showed me what they had and then sold me tile, grout, thin set and grout separators. I was told by him that he would call me on the following Monday with the eta of my tile. I waited and called him to follow up the following Friday. Whoever answered (not sure if it was Nick or Jared) told me my tile would arrive by the end of the month (AUGUST). I waited and called on September 1 to ask where my tile was. Nick answered and told me I need to wait and be patient. Then I asked when my tile will arrive. He said by the 5th of September. Again no one called and I waited until the 10th. I was again met with some condescending answer like 'it's going to be here soon'. Then I called again on September 21 and asked where my tile was. I asked and then explained that I was told it would arrive by the end of the month in August. He says 'it will be here by the end of August' I then explain its September 21... confused he then starts to be condescending again (kind of the way a woman is treated at a mechanic) and said 'it will be here by the end of August'. Are we talking end of August 2021? I'm confused. The tile finally arrived at the very end of September. The products they have are great the problem is they have terrible customer service. I shouldn't have to chase my product down especially if it's much later or back ordered. Be better. Don't be condescending to your customers. I have much more tile to buy for my house but won't be buying it from you. I will also not be recommending you to anyone. read more

Nick has been a tremendous help getting us tile samples and helping us place a custom tile order. We gave up trying to order the same tile through another store. 12 attempts ended up with the wrong color sample, and in the end, the other store actually declined to order the tile for us because we were not a large scale builder. I went to Tile liquidators to buy some tile. Nothing fancy 12x24 white floor tiles, white hexagon shower floor tiles, and some accent tiles. Along with some sacks of thin set. None of the items they had on hand, and that they would have to transfer it from another store. The order was paid in full on a Weds and was promised the order to be ready Friday of the same week. As of Tues the following week at noon they didn't have one item of my nearly $1800.00 order. So I canceled the order with the owner Jared. He threatened a restock charge, mind you I didn't receive one item other than my receipt of $1796.70. Where no where on the receipt says there will be a restocking charge on orders where they fail to perform on their promise date. I paid in full, I told him to take it up with his end, that Im not eating a restock charge on items they hadnt even received yet. Preceded to pick up my tiles at another tile supplier and some from the big box store. I replaced the entire order for less than $700.00. 2 weeks later I finally get my credit back on my credit card less 25%. So I called Tile Liquidators and spoke to Nick the store manager "the guy who sold me the tile and made the promise date" and asked him why my credit was short. He said it was a restocking fee and he wasn't doing anything about it. Basically told me to piss up a rope and hung up on me. So Im working with my credit card to dispute it. But the bottom line if you do business with these pricks GOOD LUCK. Oh and their prices are a rip off. read more

While not a huge showroom, this location has a solid selection of tiles and flooring products. I actually found a beautiful glass tile I had not seen anywhere else (dozens of stores and sites). After taking the sample board home for a closer look, I decided it was the one! Worked with Matthew who gave great advice on grout color and edging details.
