I had been searching and searching for a shower surround that wasn't white, grey, beige or black. I didn't want subway tile and all the grout either. I had found a granite that I liked, and went to Biaggio's expecting to be told it was way out of my price range and to leave in tears knowing I was going to end up with a boring white or beige surround. I went in and spoke with Gigi. They didn't have the granite I liked and I felt my hopes deflate. And then she directed me to a large format porcelain tile I had not seen before. It was perfect! And it was reasonably priced (no more than an ugly quartz would cost. Gigi gave me the info and price and worked out how much I would need. I took that to my contractor to be sure it worked for him. I was looking for quality porcelain tiles to replace the builder provided laminate for the great rain I m, entryway snd guest bathrooms in my five year old home. I searched for recommendations on Yelp and Next Door. I located a pro to do the installation. He also made some recommendations. I visited four vendors, brought home samples, but did not find what I wanted. My fifth stop was at Biaggio Tile and Stone. I was greeted by Abby, who was very helpful. I told her what I was looking for (and what I did not want). She made a couple of recommendations and I again took samples home. They were exactly what I was looking for. I made my choice, took the samples back to the store, and received a quote for the tile I selected. Once I received a start date from my installer, I informed Abby, then purchased the tile. A few days before the work was to start, I called and informed Abby of date for pick up of the merchandise. She had the product on a pallet and wrapped when the hauler arrived. You will not find this variety anywhere else in Sacramento (or I don't know of any at least, after visiting like 30+ stores). Jon and his wife are great people at the store to talk to. They try their best to help you out. If you are trying to find anything inexpensive, try conveying it to Jon but never say "cheap" because that makes Jon disappointed :-p. My friend made a mistake saying that word. You will surely not find "cheap" material at Biaggio Tile and Stone but can find a range of prices for different kind/variety of tiles. Biaggio by far has the BEST selection of unique and beautiful tile. The staff are all very friendly and professional. We dealt with the owners and they really took care of us. They spent over an hour with us coordinating and selecting tile for our bathrooms and kitchen. We ended up with beautiful high quality tile imported from Italy that really is different and more beautiful than anything we could find in any other store. The prices were reasonable and the whole process was enjoyable and easy. Its after the purchase where you can really see who your dealing with, and let me tell you everything went smoothly and easily. Once the project started we had to return some items as well as buy other small items. Each time I went to the store to make a return or get a small piece of trim everyone was helpful and friendly. They really stand behind their products and offer exceptional customer service. I cant recommend this store enough. It just goes to show that you can walk & drive by a place at least twice a day for almost 6 years, and not know what you've been missing. I recently started a master bathroom remodel in my home, more on a needed basis than wanted because of a slow plumbing leak. That left significant water damage to encompassing dry wall surrounding the shower, and so with a new shower going in. Comes the ability to have a say in what goes in as far as look, color and style. Through another company in the area (as I work nearby and this area is contractor supplies central), I'd gone with another company for my shower and bathroom time. But was having the hardest time finding of all things a soap dish that would match the new shower setup. The entire shower and floor time when from a basic off white, to a charcoal colored shower tile, with a multi-colored rock shower pan, brushed nickel shower assembly, and a more natural white stone looking ceramic tile for the floor. So the basic ceramic white soap dishes just weren't going to work, and everything at the big box hardware supply stores like Lowe's and Home Depot all had the same section in a handful of sized. Well since I've walked by Biaggio Tile & Stone every week day for several years now, I've come to wonder what was inside. And since I was still needed a soap dish I decided to stop in one weekday afternoon during my break to see what they might have....and wow was I surprised. They have an amazing selection of higher end designer tile in styles that you don't even expect to see at your typical tile companies. Right when you walk in you see a dark textured tile that similar to what I installed, but will a laser engraved design that appears to have a silver fill. You will also find a large selection of Versace brand tile for a more sophisticated look, or you can go with an old fresco look. Shortly after walking in I was greeted by the John who's the owner, and told him about what I was looking for. I told him what color my shower tile was, and he responded with what color was the shower fixtures finishing. To which I told him brushed nickel, and he went in the back and come out with a beautiful color style shower dish in a dark brushed nickel; and right then I knew I'd found what I was looking for. After looking to him about the size I wanted, I decided to get two to place slightly above and below the shower valve handle but he had only 1 soap dish currently in stock with the smaller matching foot rest. Before leaving we walked for a few minutes about the other supplies he had and showed me some pictures on his phone, of some of the amazing tile he'd come across at a convention he'd gone to. After we'd talked about what I did and how I'd had personal interest in the type of tile and it's history. I came in a few days after my initial visit, ordered the 2nd dish on a Saturday and it arrived two days later. And I took both home after John brought them out to me and opened both, just to make sure I was happy with both and there with no issues with either dish. read more

We remodeled two bathrooms with Biaggio and a general contractor. The sales experience was fantastic at Biaggio. Austin worked hard pulling tiles together and suggesting combinations to suit the one or two tiles I loved. Austin also had great advice so I ran a few other choices by him for the two rooms. I teased that he was my designer, and he sort of was. He has a keen eye for what will work. He also is a tile setter, so he has first hand knowledge of what would cause trouble and what would work well. We chose a few difficult to install items (epoxy grout, two tile accent bands, recessed niches), so we hired Biaggio to install the tile. Our contractor performed all drywall, plumbing and carpentry work. The tile turned out AMAZING! I have spectacular showers and splashes to match. Ivan, the installer, had artistic suggestions for the install I would not have thought of. He was great to deal with and I was at ease leaving him in my house alone with my dogs. My only disappointment was the solid surface countertops. If I had to do it all over again, I would have the countertops installed/fabricated by others (do yourself a favor - order pre-installed with the vanity). The prefab material suggested overhangs 2 inches which I was not made aware of. That's a lot for a vanity in a small bathroom! It looks funny. Biaggio offered to cut it down but that would have looked worse having to reduce the distance to sink from front of vanity to 2.5" and cutting down a finished backsplash. In the second bathroom we fixed this. I instructed to have a 1/2" overhang. I got 1" but it looks good, so I'm fine with that detail. However the front edge to the sink was too large at 6.5" from sink to edge. The sink was placed way up toward the wall. That is awkward when washing my hands or face. I do not love my vanity countertops, but I absolutely love all my tile! I couldn't be happier Biaggio's service and tile work, and I would not hesitate to hire Biaggio again. See for yourself - don't you want a bathroom like these? :) Biaggio was easy to deal with and responsive. Overall 5 stars even with the countertops - they're that good on everything else!! read more

My dad and I have renovated/flipped a few properties in recent years. We've used materials from all across the board with respect to price and quality, from cheap stuff from Home Depot to high end European-made products. For the most part though, we don't go too crazy. Considering Biaggio specializes in Italian-made products, many of which are very unique and not sold in other more generic tile/stone stores, we always avoided them on the assumption it would be too pricey. Thankfully, this last time around we gave them a closer look. They are not overpriced, but are actually extremely reasonable. This is because, as the owner Jon explained to us, they import directly from many different factories with whom they maintain relationships. Jon worked in Italy for many years in the industry and has an intimate knowledge of product, pricing and importing. The result is some extremely chic, high quality tile at a really competitive price point. In addition to this, they have a great showroom, knowledgeable staff, and a lot of material IN STOCK. This means you can buy it by the piece for smaller jobs, something really important for the majority of us. Jon's wife, Gigi, is part of the business as well and is always a pleasure. My husband and I were first greeted by a very nice young man named Austin who was able too show a us a huge selection of Spanish tiles in all color schemes. We were delighted. My husband and I hired a contractor to do a complete remodel of one of our bathrooms, and we went here to look at options for flooring and walls. The showroom was very disorganized. We were not greeted upon entering. We asked about taking a sample, and was told they take deposits for their samples. The guy went on about them not being cheap, and costing $14/tile, and how they couldn't afford to just give out samples and people not bring them back. He did all this ranting when we never said a word about them requesting a deposit. I was appalled at the rudeness. I will never go here for anything. I would not advise anyone else to go here for anything, unless you want to be treated rudely and overpay for tile. read more

I had my kitchen remodeled and went to a couple of other tile places in the area to see what they had to offer and they were very welcoming and polite and were a ton of help with color choices as opposed to other rude non welcoming tile places who didn't seem to have the time to even greet me. This is the worst tile store in Sacramento I would order from LA before I ordered from them again, in fact I did just that for the remaining tile I needed and it was cheaper for the same tile. His wife is nice but he likes to blame his employees or the customer for his errors. I purchased tile from his employee while he was on vacation but they did not have enough in stock would have to order, ok I paid for the tile I received and tile I ordered then the owner called and talked to my wife accusing her of cheating him and taking advantage of his employee being very rude and refused to honor the order, I went to a tile store in LA ordered same tile with free shipping for less money than he wanted, received a refund and will never go back to this tile store again read more

We are redoing our 1928 midtown bungalow, and wanted tile for the kitchen, office and laundry room. Also wanted granite counter tops and a back splash. After shopping endless places, we decided to purchase the tile for the floors and back splash, as well as the granite from Biaggio. Gigi is so very enthusiastic about tile! She and her staff patiently showed us pretty much every tile they had in stock- and helped us match the granite to the tile, our cabinets and the paint color we had chosen. Over the course of my many visits, they looked at pictures, made suggestions and overall just made the shopping experience pleasant. (we even made it into their yelp video!) The install crew showed up on time and were very conscientious about keeping the house clean and doing some really neat and tidy work. They installed the sink we had chosen and just did a bang up job on everything. The price was a little higher than standard porcelain tile found at the big box stores, but Gigi gave us a discount since we bought everything together, and we are satisfied that the tile and granite are of much higher quality than we could have found elsewhere. Competitors take note- Gigi's enthusiasm and warmth sealed the deal for us. I am a huge fan of those that are passionate about their work and stand behind the products they sell. I'd like to start off by saying that usually when a business has all 5 star reviews I get very skeptical and think maybe a lot of friends have fluffed the rating. This is not the case in my review. At all. We ripped out our bathroom a few weeks ago and decided to redo it. A few Internet searches later we found what we liked and started our tile search. We visited a few tile stores, and one had meh customer service, the other better service but had to order samples. We ended up in Sacramento and decided to stop by a tile store there. A quick Google search showed Biaggio as a top rated store , so we decided to go there. I am so glad we did. John, the owner, was there and instantly greeted us. He spent a couple hours with us going over styles, explaining what would and wouldn't work, and when we finally decided on what we wanted talked us through how to design it so it would look best. When it came time to pay I was a little worried, but let me tell you, it was an amazing deal for all we got. His price was far less than the previous store we had shopped, and the previous quote didnt include grout, thinset, or the trim pieces which we bought. The best part is they have everything in stock, so we drove away with everything we needed! We have two more bathrooms and a kitchen that we will be upgrading, and we will definitely come back to John when it's time. read more
