My house was built in 1962 and most of my bathroom components were original. I wanted to have both…read morebathrooms remodeled because they were both very ugly and depressing. I had several contractors stop by to give me estimates - a lot of contractors were very sloppy in their estimates, telling me they would give me a bathroom in five days or asking me to buy all the supplies, etc (as if I would know what to get), or telling me they can do it for $5k without permits. Anywho, Ivan from Vitex stopped by and asked a lot of questions on what kind of vision I had, and when I did not know an answer, he made suggestions. For example, he suggested I add a shower light - that's something I did not think of at all - and also pointed out things that were required for code upgrades, etc. The entire process was very transparent. After I received the quote, I met Ivan at the warehouse in Rancho Cordova and he helped me pick out the tile for the wall and the floor. Again, I'm clueless and he made the right recommendations that made sense. The crew arrived on day one and these guys work hard and other than their lunch breaks, they don't stop until the end of the workday. The workers were very pleasant and diligent. Very friendly. I really enjoyed having them here and they did excellent work. Once they were done, I proceeded to hire Vitex for bathroom #2, which involved removing a jet tub to build a walk in shower. This time I worked with Arthur, who was also excellent and the same worker crew. They did an excellent job with that bathroom, as well. What also helped was being in touch with Victor, the owner, via group text to keep me up to date on the project, etc. Also, for anyone doing their due diligence, Vitex is fully licensed and the work they did passed the City of Sacramento's inspection, so these guys are legit. I'll definitely recommend them to anyone I know looking for bathroom remodeling and will use them for future tile work. Thank you, Vitex! -Josh

Our order was not easily accessible, so several items were in question. Lisa reached out to the staff member heading up our order, to the slab department, and to our contractor. She spent a great deal of time locating the updated information, and then proceeded to organize the order by room. Her efforts distilled all of our visits to Bedrosians, and resulted in a far more user-friendly version of the materials for our project. This was invaluable for all parties involved. In addition, Lisa assisted us with final design choices. Lisa went above and beyond expectations to offer resolution in a kind, patient, and professional manner. This review is based on the customer service…read more I originally went into the store the end of November and was put off by the limited interaction I had with the representative. However, after looking at a handful of other slab yards I still hadn't found *the one*. (I was shopping for a quartz countertop for my bathroom and kitchen) I went back to Pacific Shore Stones on a Saturday in early January and it was busy. Anthony was working that day and even though it was busy and he was helping multiple other people, I never felt invisible or smothered, I was checked on, and I was offered guidance on some of the slabs I'd liked in the warehouse, as well as the slab options in the showroom. Anthony gave me a lot of helpful advice that I would have not known to ask about or possibly overlooked because I wasn't aware to even consider it. I was able to find my slabs and will update the review once my project is complete. I'm really happy I went back into the store and worked with Anthony, he really made the experience a great one.

Kitchen Design Expo was one of them. I ended up making my purchase with them. Their customer service, selection, and pricing was awesome. Let me say they have you covered for kitchen and bathroom remodels: Flooring Countertops Cabinets Sink, Vanity Tile Knobs and pulls (cabinet hardware) They have a design team that can assist you create computer generated design plans all while working within your budget. The shop is filled with sample kitchen displays (displayed without sinks). They have hardware displays. In the back are lots of slabs of granite and quartz and some vanities. They are a small business, so they are working with minimal floor staff. If you do need assistance, just walk up to the counter and the staff will gladly assist you. I only bought cabinet hardware; knobs and handles. They do not have inventory on site. They order through a vendor. Their selection was diverse: styles of colonial, Victorian, farm style, traditional, mid century, futuristic, funky, fun, artsy, modern, industrial, etc. Quality brands. Even though I was not dropping a ton of dough, I was never treated any less important. I worked with Jessie, the owner, and Cora. Top notch customer service. Even when a portion of my order was wrong, the vendor sent the wrong product. Jessie quickly reordered and got me the right items within days. Great!

They were slightly less expensive than other options, but I liked the veining and was assured by Jesse that they were good quality. After installation, it was apparent there were rough spots on the slab and that it was bowed in the middle. The installation was worse: they did not check the peninsula for squareness first and instead just installed a crooked counter top, flush with the cabinets at one end but an overhang at the other. They cut the quartz inside my home without protection (leaving fine dust all over the floors and furniture), the seams were rough and messy, there was chipped paint off my walls, and they even left oil stains on my driveway. Customer service was nonexistent. My concerns were dismissed by Jesse- he told me I must be picky and hard to please. He was patronizing, has the air of a snake oil salesman, and offered zero resolution. I am so grateful that this was only a 5k countertop job and not a whole kitchen remodel. Lesson learned.

This review is based on more than a year of working with Precision Cabinetry & Design (now called…read morePCD Studios) and investing well into six figures on cabinetry for our home. I genuinely wanted this relationship to succeed, which is why it's so disappointing to write this review. If you're considering PCD Studios, get multiple bids before signing anything and i strongly suggest you go elsewhere. We ultimately hired another designer using the exact same Crystal Cabinets manufacturer. Their design was significantly better, their communication was outstanding, and the total cost was nearly half of what PCD proposed. For the premium they charge, I expected thoughtful, customized design. Instead, we received fairly basic 2D layouts that didn't justify the price. The service was even more disappointing. It often felt like every question or small change became another opportunity to increase costs. One example: our refrigerator manufacturer changed a cabinet panel dimension by just 1/16 of an inch. We were initially told we needed to buy a new panel. Only after we insisted they contact Crystal Cabinets did they learn the change was "no problem" and could be made without replacing the panel or charging more. Communication was another major issue. Michie Schmitz was generally pleasant to work with, but did little to rectify our issues. Our primary contact, Pippa Clarke, was repeatedly dismissive and difficult to work with. We requested multiple times that she no longer manage our project, but those requests were ignored. When issues were escalated to Renee Jordan, they rarely resulted in meaningful solutions. The end of the project was the most frustrating. After telling us we could apply our remaining deposit toward cabinet hardware, PCD had us spend time selecting and submitting our hardware. They then reversed course and said we would only receive the remaining credit if we signed a release agreement. The final accounting even included attorney fees for preparing the release they wanted us to sign. We declined because we were not willing to give up our rights simply to recover part of our own money. The storage issue was handled similarly. Our construction schedule changed, and instead of working with us, the discussions centered on storage fees and additional charges. The storage company itself contacted us asking why PCD was charging us so much, as the amount being passed through was substantially higher than what the storage company was charging. (PCD doubled the fee!). Ultimately, I walked away from thousands of dollars they held as ransom because it was more important to retain my ability to honestly share this experience than to sign a release agreement with this company. I rarely leave negative reviews, but after this experience I feel future customers deserve to know there are other Crystal Cabinets dealers who provide significantly better design, far better customer service, and dramatically better value. We ultimately worked with Silicon Valley Dream Homes, received a much better design, and saved tens of thousands of dollars. I only wish we had found them first. Do yourself a favor, go elsewhere.

I watched their interaction. It was very positive, formal, professional, nice, and friendly. I was respectfully waiting my turn. I looked around for the store for my item so that I could help them be more efficient and save time. After 5 minutes, I saw that all 3 workers are free. I was hoping one of them would help me, but I give them the benefit of the doubt that they might be busy. So I waited patiently. After 2 minutes, 2 of the female workers stared me down and walked away to their back corners and went to their computers as if I'm a peasant. Not sure what I did to deserve that. That leaves me with 1 guy left. I stand in proximity waiting for help. After another 3 minutes of standing in front of his desk, I respectfully ask for help. He then gives me attitude, and treated me very differently from other customers that I just watched when I entered the store. That was rude and fkd up. Wtf did I do to deserve that? I got profiled. Is it because I'm not white? Is it because I'm young, and people think that I'm broke? Is it because my clothing is dirty from working on a project? I left the store. It was frustrating and demoralizing. I didn't deserve to be treated like that. I'm not coming back, and unless you're stereotyped as easy money, I don't think you deserve that treatment!

Our floor was torn up in a hallway/master bath & master bedroom due to a flood. We were looking for someone to pull up floor from the spare bedroom and use the pieces to patch the remaining parts that were damaged due to a flood. He arrived and talked through our options with us and got back to us in a reasonable time to schedule & get to work. We had a quote from another floor guy but we really liked Josh & his quote was great so we were in. The work itself took about a day a half and the patchwork was seamless. He was able to reuse many of the floor pieces to fix the main areas and we are now off to get the remaining bedroom carpeted. We woulda went with him for this as well but that was outside of his scope. Nevertheless the job was done below budget and quickly might I add. He also fixed a linen cabinet that had been removed due to the water damage. He was meticulous and thorough in cutting and replacing the baseboards as well. We cannot recommend him highly enough. I've been looking at all the Granite and Cabinet shops for good high quality granite and good high quality Cabinets. I found the prices here to be only slightly higher but the quality of the cabinets substantially better. Why waste my money on something cheap when it's not going to last, these counter tops and cabinets are quality, very impressed thank you very much great deal great service. O, and the young Chinese lady that helped me I believe her name was Gina, was very informed and knowledgeable when it comes to Cabinets and Granite. Every other place I went couldn't answer all my questions and just wanted to sell me and really didn't pay attention to what I wanted. So my recommendation is if you are looking for Quality countertops and cabinets, go look around to four or five other places then try here and you'll see what I mean big difference better quality better service, then you'll wish you tried here first and saved all that time : ) read more

I made it here one afternoon before they closed at 5:30p to check it out. The showroom isn't very big but they had some beautiful stuff out on display. All employees at the counter were assisting other customers, mostly contractor people or handyman. My contractor had already spoken to a staff employee about the color and style cabinets I was looking for, I just needed someone to show them to me. The lady that assisted me was nice and helpful. In their warehouse she also showed me the different types of countertops they had available. They specialize in kitchen cabinets, kitchen granite countertop, and bathroom vanity. Price is reasonable too. It's always fun looking inside a showroom and getting home improvement ideas for our home. The white cabinet vanity with shaker door style looks bright and beautiful inside my bathroom. They patiently held the cabinets in their warehouse while we completed the remodel and made ready for the cabinets. Then they delivered them exactly as promised. Steve and Cindy Dietz are easy to work with and extremely personable. After discussing my wants, with many suggestions from Steve, he came to my home, measured walls and emailed detailed CAD drawings of what my new kitchen would look like. He also gave me books and catalogs to help me decide on style, detail and options. I made many changes during the project. Steve would respond with, "No problem, we'll work that out." They did so quickly and without additional charges. Their price was competitive and considerably less than other quotes I received. The work crew, who delivered, installed, fixed, and tweaked, were hard working, knowledgeable and congenial - most of them with years of experience in the cabinet business. When they left, the work area was spotless.
